Sarah Palin is a hypocrite

Gov. Sarah Palin just released a statement on President Barack Obama's gaffe about the Special Olympics last night on the Tonight Show.

"I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics," said Palin, whose son, Trig, was born with Down syndrome last year. "This was a degrading remark about our world’s most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world."

"These athletes overcome more challenges, discrimination and adversity than most of us ever will. By the way, these athletes can outperform many of us and we should be proud of them," Palin added. "I hope President Obama’s comments do not reflect how he truly feels about the special needs community."

Yeah, right. At least he apologized and took responsibility for his remark.

We have never heard Sarah Palin take any responsibility for anything at all.

Ah, and she's a champion of children with special needs!

Sarah Palin has just turned down $74 million dollars that could have been used to improve the education of children with special needs and of those in impoverished areas.

  1. THANK YOU for addressing this. GINO (I can no longer even use her initials) talks out of both sides of her mouth. She has no shame.

  3. she seems to think it's her against him. She needs to get a clue that her words mean nothing to 955 of the people!!

  4. Alot of big words in one sentence. Looks like Meg Stapleton is right on this one.

  5. The line "precious and unique" made me cringe, coming from someone who uses her own precious child(or grandchild if you're a conspiracy theorist) as a campaign prop and has been utterly irresponsible in providing medical care for him. Just when I think Palin can't get any more hypocritical, offensive, and just plain nasty...

My word verification, by the way, is "honests"-- yay irony!

  6. It is no conspiracy to state, unequivocally, that Governor Sarah Palin was not the mother who gave birth to Trig Palin on 4-18-2008.

Let's not fall into the terminology that is intended to frame certain assertions as wacky or wild.

What IS a conspiracy, however, is the cover-up that Sarah Palin has perpetrated to hide the fact that she faked a pregnancy. I do not make any claim about the validity of her reasons for doing so, but to deny that she did so is to turn our eyes away from mounds of proof... and let her get away with a very untidy lie.

  7. I think the legislators will override Palin's decision and the monies will be used by Alaska. Palin expects them to do so, and is using this for political gain, fiscal conservative. She won't take the chance of losing, so the next time she runs for office will be for the POTUS! Oh, check out Andrew Halcro's site, I think that is the one, because SarahPac had an influence on this decision.

And the monies were also for emergency food assistance!

Thanks for this article and all your good work!

  8. Reg,
Forgive me I'm reposting this from Gryphen's site:

GINO or her minions ALWAYS MAKE IT ABOUT HER...even if it isn't! PO has respected GINO's kids and wouldn't say a mean thing against them in spite of the vile hateful racist things she said about him. And what about Trig? She's cut $ for special needs kids. Oh But her KID is TRULY special. Not you with you special needs kids that needs therapy. Thats like so socialist for you to expect government to help doncha know!
And hey! GINO has more important things to spend money on!! Yeah killing wolves! Ummm, she could of spent that money on special needs kids or down in the villages for food and heat...but hey LETS KILL WOLVES AND BEAR, YA HOO! 100K to kill wolves and bears! Hey special needs people "I can't hear you!" Why aren't you raisin' hell about that??????????

Can you believe she did that right there in plain sight of the world? And the fact she got away with it within her own circle or community should be disturbing!
