Sarah(un)Pac

The Washington Post has reported this week that Campaign Solutions, a Republican consulting firm advising Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee, has parted ways with the former Republican vice presidential nominee.

The group had been working with the Palin operation to raise money for SarahPAC but decided to step aside after a series of strategic and philosophic differences, according to a source familiar with the decision.

Despite some half-hearted denials, Greta Van Susteren's husband John Coale was quite involved in the running and funding of SarahPac.

Coale, in an interview with the Fix, described himself simply as a "friend" of the Alaska governor but acknowledged that he suggested she start a leadership PAC and helped her navigate through some of the questions surrounding her family that lingered after the campaign. Others familiar with Palin's political team insist that Coale has far more power than he is letting on -- essentially helping to run Sarah PAC.

John Coale has a "weakness" for female politicians and likes to be their knight in shining armour. In Sarah Palin's case, he's not in agreement with her ideology. As the opportunist he is, he saw the chance to advance the Scientologist agenda of infiltrating national politics, using his wife's sympathetic interviews and access to Sarah Palin as a way in.

If SarahPac morphs into an Alaskan Bail Out Fund, where does that leave John Coale's Scientology infiltration plans?

nailinpalinnow has an excellent, very well researched article about how Scientologists work. Don't miss it!

  1. Campaign Solutions took their mailing and email list of big dollar Republican donors and left.

SarahPac will be left looking for crumbs and very small donors.

The legal defense fund will only allow max $150. SarahPac donors will now be less than this.

Two months before we see what idiots did donate.

  2. Why did they leave? (Campaign solutions). I'd love to hear THEIR SIDE of this. Has anyone read an article where they are quoted or interviewed?? I also would love to know what happened to all the money people have donated so far....

  3. Sarah they Packed-up and left...

A sign that someone has some know-how...maybe they wouldn't go along with breaking the law...

  4. Here's a fascinating window-pane view into the mind of a Palinista who's trying to work out why this SarahPAC=out, Alaska Fund Trust=in thing occurred:

"She remembers how horrendously the McCain handled her last fall, again principally in the area of communications. She is still quite miffed about this, although she is too classy to say so*.

She does, however, state in an interview** (I can’t remember with whom...Greta maybe?) that if she could change anything about the VP campaign, she would have insisted on calling more of the shots, particularly as they related to her press availability and communications."

*One is forced to ask oneself, how does the Palinista know this, except by reading something Palin SAID about it?

**Like this example, in the VERY NEXT SENTENCE!

Sometimes these Palinista are jaw-droppingly obtuse, even about their own ability to "reason". This excerpt was from an attempt by a Palinista to "reason"....

  5. It will be the answer to our prayers if nilaP begins to take charge of her own communications.

Classy? SP isn't classy - she's pure trailer trash.

  6. This is why many in the Republican Party have become disenchanted with her. She flips and flops, commits to this and commits to that, then changes her mind. Then, as if that weren't enough, as per usual, she lies about it and says, well, I didn't really commit ...

I'm torn. A really bad candidate would ensure another Democratic win. But, just the thought of her getting that close again is terrifying!

  7. Kyra, I so appreciate your honesty about how people in the GOP feel. Are you talking about in AK governor's race or in 2012 Pres. election?

  8. Hey, I just thought of something. Remember how one of the early goals of SarahPAC was supposedly to give money to the campaigns of other candidates? Because at the time Sarah seemed so important that she part of her role would be prop up other GOPers? Ha. How things have changed.

Well, we can all be sure Sarah doesn't want to and probably can't afford to give any money away to any other politicians.

  9. Good point, Helen. So much for supporting other candidates, it's all about Sarah.

CrystalWolf has read over the fine print, and apparently the "send me money" funds can be spent on whatever strikes SP's fancy, in spite of the lofty mission statement on the front page.

I'm sure SP's break with Becki Donatelli will enhance her reputation in Washington. NOT.

  10. Off topic -

remember when the See4Pee people complained about the fact that you published SP's home address? Well look what I found over on Team Sarah. I wonder if See4Pee will complain again? Not blooming likely I guess.

Oh my gosh! How dare they complain to Regina about Palin's address when they are posting Palin's home address themselves on Team Sarah.org!! Does Sarah Palin know her supporters are doing this?

I swear, it's like her "team" is always trying to undermine her!
