Super Bristol Palin

Super-Bristol: Trig's main caregiver, Tripp's main caregiver, ace student, breast-pumping, two job super-duper teen mom!

Esquire magazine:

She's got her baby brother with her, eight-month-old Trig, and he's a case in point: showed up almost a month premature. He's dressed just like his big sister: jeans and a sweatshirt. Most days, she and Todd are his main caregivers.

People magazine:

Her mom may be governor, but there is no nanny in the Palin house. Bristol gets up – usually twice during the night – to feed Tripp, who sleeps in a hand-me-down crib in her bedroom, and she says she has tapped out at least one school paper with her son crying in the background. She breastfed her baby for a month, pumping milk before class and rushing straight home to feed him. And she worked two part-time jobs to help pay for the diapers and formula her parents otherwise supply.

"If girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex. Trust me. Nobody."

Bristol changed her tune since the Greta Van Susteren interview. Around 2:22, she tells Great what it feels like to be a mom:

Abstinence is good, abstinence is not realistic, I love being a mom, it's so rewarding, if they knew... nobody would be having sex.

Make up your mind, Super-Bristol.

  1. Grrrrr. I don't know when that Esquire article was written, but unless it was written last December, TriG couldn't be "eight months old," according to his alleged birth in April 2008.

And I have a son who's graduating from high school next month. He has learning disabilities, and it's been a long, hard, expensive slog. But he's not going to be on the cover of People, because his mother isn't the governor (actually, the District of Columbia has a mayor, not a governor), and he didn't knock anyone up. OTOH, I'm awfully proud of him, and glad that he has no notoriety whatsoever, except for coolness and wit.

Talk about glamourizing teen pregnancy! On the cover of People, BP all buffed and glossed, with a silent baby in her arms! Also, Lorenzo Benet barely mentioned it in his book, but the Palins hired a "Wasilla girl" as a nanny. Who's telling the truth?

I keep thinking this family can't provoke a single more emotion or reaction from me. But noooooo!

  2. Hey Bristol,

Didn't your momma ever teach you that abstinence is not the only road to take if you don't want the responsibility of a baby. Ask Meghan McCain, she'll gladly advise you.

  3. It's so frustrating that she is given a voice at all in the main stream media. And especially about abstinence. Well, we know it's really her mom's voice coming out of her. Pregnancy is not always a "consequence of sex", but certainly it is often a consequence when you're not using birth control and aren't taught about it in school or at home! Oh yes, and teenagers are now going to stop having sex because they now know where babies come from thanks to Bristol. She has single-handedly cured "teen-age pregnancy", YAY! ha ha haaaa ha ha... sigh....

  4. Wonder if her two part time jobs are working for Candies and selling stories to People magazine?

From these two "part time" jobs she is making far more annual salary than the average working person.

Not bad for a unwed teenage slut... it is good to a Palin kid.

  5. Well, now that they've taken sex education out of schools, it's a good thing we have Bristol to tell girls that sex can result in, shock, a baby! Who'd have ever thought? (Of course, it's actually UNPROTECTED sex that results in babies, but, shhh, we don't want the girls to know that.)

what I want to know is, 1) What is it with People Magazine and the Palins? They're starting to remind me of GVS. 2) Why do the Palin women constantly talk about breast pumps? Perhaps because we constantly see them with bottles and they want to portray the (false) image that they really, really are good mothers who breast feed. 3) What happened to the nanny the Palins have had for months now? 4) Why do the Palins and the press assume that EVERYONE is stupid and has the memory of a fish?

Whatever sympathy I might have had for this chick is gone. Bristol is a vindictive, hypocritical, lying little slut, just like her mom.

  6. I keep on emailing CREW about all this crazy baby stuff. I hyperlink all articles to them, and I explain the reason it is unethical is because SP uses Trig and the rest of her family as her political platform and that she is full of sh**. So if there is anyone out there that would like to back me up with them, please do. There is truly power in numbers.

  7. I'm trying to figure out the Palin Publicity Program. Just because your name appears in the media every day doesn't mean that it's good publicity. How does this appeal to the Hard Core Right Wing Family Values people when they have excluded the father of the child, and there is no marriage in sight. (In fact, pity the poor guy who would marry into that family after all of their doings. One wrong step and he'll get the Wooten treatment for sure).

I can't imagine who thinks that the right picture for the family album is the happy high school (unwed) grad holding her baby. Did Sarah plan this as part of Bristol's humiliation-tour? Does Bristol so love the attention, cameras and makeup that, like her mother, this will be her new calling? What is the market for this crap?? I can't think of one parent pointing to Bristol and hoping that their daughter follows that example. And, I really don't see this as the credentials for a future presidential candidate. No, I see this as fodder for a Saturday Night Live sketch; too bad their season is over.

  8. "I love being a mom, it's so rewarding" - oh yeah, it sure is.

When they are 35 it is WONDERFUL. They are independent and hopefully relatively productive, decent, caring human beings.

Go ahead & play BabyMama Bristol. You are going to have 2 kids that hit 3 years old within 10 months of each other and we'll see how your happy place is holding up.

You would think that GINO could actually AFFORD to hire a baby sitter for HER baby wouldn't you?

Oh yeah, both babies are hers right?

Forgot .. so why is Bristol playing the martyr here?

Bottom line is that someone is going to have to actually RAISE these children and obviously SP has NO interest in kids except as photo ops.

  9. I agree 2 kids to deal with alone especially when Sarah loses any interest in pretending about Trig and Todd is off in the wilds is going to be hell. Bristol will be dreaming about condoms and how only if . . . She is going to need help. But if this whole thing is not exposed for the farce that it is by then they still can't hire outside help. To many weak links in the security fence around their lies. Any Bristol, seriously what guy is going to want to hook up with you now? Two kids, irresponsible with your sex life, GINO as a mother, hypocrite. . .

  10. Why the heck would any teen listen to Bristol? This is not someone who "oops got pregnant" and had no "guidance" in her life regarding sexual behaviour before you are married or ready to have children. Her very own mum is one of the loudest advocates of abstinence and a hypocrite on the subject. Her mother was pregnant before marriage as was her grandmother. We are supposed to believe that Bristol is someone unique and wise and worthy of our attention on this matter. Hey every before before you had a mother you are not unique, special or even remotely believable. Surprise, surprise Bristol, Levi told us, you didn't use the condom, you should keep your mouth shut. You are getting paid to talk about things you don't believe in. And you will be back in bed with the first guy that shows interest in you because you are just a lonely used pawn of your mother.

  11. How many ways can she disgrace herself and that poor child?
Wasilla High was already known as a "dropout factory' and lack of sex education.
    http://blowpoppalin.blogspot.com/2009/05/dropout-factory-wasilla-high-school.html

More red fashion faux pas. What a pity she is so desperate for props she'd pose in a Wasilla High robe.

  12. The Palins are such a sad, sad family. If I were an Alaskan, I would be so embarrassed.

  13. Love the new blog mentioned by WWWTHF, above! More and more people are catching on to the lies, hypocricy and greed of SP (and her family).

The more people who express the truth, the better informed the public is. The better informed the public is, the more accountable they will hold office holders.

  14. This is wrong on so many levels. Bristol is nothing but a dumb publicity whore who does not know when to STFU (or close her legs for that matter)...like mother like daughter. I used to feel sorry for her, but not any more. She deserves EVERYTHING that is coming her way.

Sarah and Bristol are two peas in a pod...intellectually challenged overbreeders who use anyone and anything to make money and satisfy their own greed. It's obvious that Sarah's political career is over...the Palin's have ousted octomom as the new white trash tabloid royal family...congrats Wasilla hillbilles...you knocked that awful Kate Gosselin off the gossip mag cover!

  15. Bristol has sex, has a baby or 2, gets gifts, has lots of help from Piper and Willow, gets a job advocating not having sex and gets paid and is on the cover of People saying sex is just bad and I just vurped.

  16. Postergirl, PEOPLE magazine isn't "mainstream media".

It's a gossip/celebrity rag along the same lines as US magazine. You see mags like these in doctors' waiting rooms, hair salons and fitness centers. And they're sold at the same place in the grocery store as National Enquirer, at the "grab and go" racks at the check-out counter.

These mags aren't usually seen in bank lobbies, lawyers' office waiting rooms, or your financial advisor's waiting area. Nor are they featured in the magazine racks in the aisles of the store, where someone has to put some thought into finding them.

In other words, they aren't written for someone who wants their intellect sharpened. Even Playboy articles are keener in intellect and reveal more depth than most PEOPLE articles.

The only thing Playboy and PEOPLE magazines have in common are a lot of pictures... :)

  17. Like mother, like daughter.

Bristol is more than fair-game and as far as I am concerned deserves the same "attacks" as leveled at her mother.]

BRISTOL IS EXPOSING TRIPP TO THE NATIONAL MEDIA IN THE SAME NEGATIVE, DEGRADING WAY THAT HER MOTHER EXPOSED HER DURING THE RNC.

This child will grow up no only knowing he was "a mistake" but one that HIS MOTHER HAD TO CONTINUE TO SHOUT---REPEATEDLY-- TO THE NATIONAL MEDIA FOR HER OWN NARCISSISTIC NEEDS AND YES, I AM REFERRING TO BRISTOL HERE, NOT SARAH.

Bristol is as shallow, as unintelligent, as unthinking and as cruel as her mother.

Don't agree with what I just said?

Ask Tripp in a few years when the kid has his "googling" skills down.

  18. LisanTX, You are kind, thank you. I was in total disbelief when I read:
'Bristol boasted a 3.497 G.P.A., regretting only that she was "point zero-zero-something" away from graduating with Honors.'

After looking up Wasilla High and finding the KTUU article (I hadn't seen or heard mentioned before) and others:
'Study gives Wasilla High School failing grade'
    I wanted a place where I wouldn't loose them!
When more Alaskans are able to open up and talk we will have a larger view of the place where SP went to high school, became mayor and set up her bff classmates and launced her political aspirations to take them all to the White House. Also what a 3.497 G.P.A. "point zero-zero-something" means from the WSH point of view.

I couldn't agree with you more, the more informed the public is, the more accountable office holders.

  19. From a conservative, Christian perspective, Bristol is "paying" for her sins by having to work to pay for the diapers etc., and take care of her child and Trigg. Whether or not the Palin's can hire a nanny or not is immaterial - sin cannot be rewarded.

It is obvious that the Palin girls are super-controlled, as was Track - otherwise he wouldn't have had so many delinquency problems. I question the dynamics within that family and the emotional health of all the girls - and those babies as they grow.

Bristol may be 18, but she is not making her own decisions and if she is, she has not had any experience making them. In a family culture that lets the lord decide (or dad), she will continue to make poor choices. Look what's happened to mom - a few lies and you get all kinds of attention and nice things. You do what you know. If you don't, you get thrown out of the family.

I can't help but feel for Tripp. He will spend the rest of his life with written proof that he is his mother's greatest regret and biggest mistake. No one should ever start life that way, it would have been so much kinder if he could have been adopted by a family that love him all the days of his life and not use him as a hated cash cow.

"My dad lets me go tanning quite a bit. That's the one thing I can do. And I try to exercise," she said. per the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.

    http://www.newsminer.com/news/2009/may/20/bristol-palin-juggles-demands-being-single-parent/

Is she an adult or not? I'd say NOT if daddy is still controlling her life. Oh, and 'tanning' at her age, with her skin type?!!?

  23. the problem child

    what a joke!

The Associated Press NEW YORK - Money is a concern for Bristol Palin, who said she paid for the baby's diapers and formula by working part time at a cafe and baby-sitting for other families while one of her relatives looked after Tripp.

The magazine said a team of lawyers has been working out an agreement between Palin and Johnston addressing child support and visitation rights. In television interviews, Johnston has said the Palins allow him only limited access to Tripp.

What magazine said that about the team of lawyers?

Tanning is the one thing she can do?

Todd comes off more the creep then ever.

I saw a CNN crawl that said something like Bristol Palin made the cover of People Magazine. As if it's newsworthy, a great accomplishment.

She is doing more harm then MSM is willing to admit. Older teens may be on to her, but she is making an impression on the pre-teens and most vulnerable that is horrendous.
