Shapeshifting Sarah Palin

Our friend Bree Palin came across some very good footage of Sarah Palin dated April 8, 2008. When we look at some screenshots from the video together with other pictures, it becomes very clear that Sarah Palin's "baby bump" changes shape and size in a very peculiar fashion.

I find the photos around April 8 particularly interesting. Either Sarah Palin ballooned from nothing into the square shaped belly, or the other way around, because the footage wasn't taken more than a couple of days apart...

By April 13, Sarah had obtained a better shaped belly and finally looked pregnant. But she must have shrunk again by April 17, because the air crew on the Alaska Airlines flight to Anchorage didn't think her stage of pregnancy was apparent, which Sarah Palin confirmed in an interview a couple of days after she "delivered" Trig.

Reporter:
Just a clarification – you flew commercial Alaska Airlines?

Palin: Yeah, yeah.

Reporter: And did -- This was something else I think I heard your father say I just wanted to clarify. Did you have to hide your pregnancy because you were so far along?

Palin: Well, you know I never felt nor do some people say I ever looked like I was that far along, um, so no purposeful way or need to hide that I was pregnant. Um, some, I know that some airlines would have uh, some hesitancy on letting maybe a nine month pregnant person get on board but it wasn’t nine months so, um, it was…

Reporter: And you didn’t tell them you were feeling something when you came back on the plane?

Palin: No need to because I wasn’t feeling at all like I was in labor in fact, you know I wasn’t one or maybe two contractions an hour that felt just like Braxton Hicks which I’d been having for months. That doesn’t constitute labor, so…

What a truly fascinating pregnancy...

(Way of Peace put the photos together, with respective dates. Please click to enlarge. Thanks WoP!)

  1. Good ole' Daddy Chuck Heath. Trying to embellish the wild ride home by adding that tidbit about her water breaking. It is very apparent that she had no clue her dad had said that and she fell all over herself trying to cover that detail. Umm..umm, uh, ummm. Tougue tied. Uh...that's what people do when they lie.

The 5:06 mark is Sarah smoothing out her scarf and then the close up of her "Sponge Bob Square Pants" belly. I like the way she tries to adjust her blue jacket. Guilt showing much?

PARAPHRASE (de-palinized): Well, you know I never felt like I was that far along (how could I when I wasn't pregnant?). People didn't think I was that far along (how could they? I wasn't pregnant). There was no need to hide that I was pregnant (because I wasn't pregnant!) I wasn't nine months along (I was zero months along), so no need to hide facts from the airline.

As usual, we got a lot of half-truths here that add up to a big lie.

  5. Hi, Regina

If you could put a date caption under each picture it would be clearer. It's critical to know how close in time the last picture (big) is to earlier (thin) pictures.

  6. colidii,

I tried to make the captions under the pictures a bit clearer. I hope it helps...

  7. Regina, perhaps put the dates directly above each photo? Is it possible?

  8. Big scarves hiding her belly seemed to be standard maternity attire for Sarah. So why is it in the photos dated, March 26 (square belly), April 9th (?) (square belly), & April 13 (huge watermelon belly), did Sarah not wear a big scarf?

I think in those select photos, Sarah wanted the public to see her belly. This was her way to show/control the media into believing that she was actually pregnant, without having the daily burden wearing a pillow or empathy belly.

  10. were there photos of the gov speech thing in Texas? or a photo after the balloon belly to show she deflated? I know the plane ride saying she didnt look prego is proof of deflation but a photo would be interesting..

can you see trying to put a plane seat belt around that pumpkin belly?
and don't the stewardesses come by to make sure all belts are secure?
Surely they would be looking at her clasp and see some amount of belly bulge?

and April is still chilly.. and if coming from Alaska.. it is darn chilly there so she would of been in a thick coat
Add a thick coat to that balloon belly and you got one pregnant looking chic

oh but noone on the plane noticed she was pregnant?

She could AT LEAST make her story more credible sounding (do a little self humiliation - which I know she would never do) and just say.. "I guess they thought I was just fat"

Oh no.. Bristol has to look like a wobbly beached whale looking so uncomfortabl at 5 months

And Sarah get's to look like a star athelete able to hide her pregancy a day before giving bith
"plane people didn't even know I was about to give birth"

    take her dowwwwwn!!!!

Thoughts anyone? (Sorry if this has been discussed before)

  15. How did we miss that stairwell footage before? Bree has really found something here!

And I'm with whoever it was who wants to pop her in the mouth when she's sitting in that chair and smirking and flirting and lying her little ass off. She's acting like a little girl. It's just revolting. Imagine what she's going to be like at 60, still wearing her FMBs and giving her come hither looks because she's convinced everyone still thinks she's hot.

I think Andrew Sullivan needs to see this (if he hasn't already). He is the only person from the "somewhat" MSM who knows what we know ... that $arah faked this pregnancy.

What a revolting person. We need to stop her now. I've never had this reaction to any politician before, no matter their slime. This just takes the cake for me. How someone so ignorant and snarky and nasty has gotten so far is just frightening.

And yes, MC ... her world revolves around her being "hot." Good grief!

I am just grinning from ear to ear at the thought of what the Faux Noise executives must have thought and the looks on their faces when Greta did that video! And GRETA is the one who said: “The Governor and her family step into the political spotlight, and nasty rumors emerge about the birth of the Governor’s son, Trig. How does the Governor fight back?” There was NEVER another mention again about the nasty rumors, either on Faux or any other MSM. And it is this Faux Noise video that proves Sarah was not pregnant. Thanks Greta, and dare I say? Thanks Fox News! Oh, that leaves such a nasty taste in my mouth to say that, but it is their own video that they tried to bury. And it stayed buried for almost 17 months!

Once again, Bree, congrats from all of us!

  18. It is my belief that the RNC is behind Sarah's deception and that is why she has gotten away with it this far. This is how she has managed to bully and threaten bloggers. She is too inept and doesn't have the muscle alone to pull this off herself. Those behind her are powerful, I believe, and have a lot to lose should the truth become fully known about Palin. This whole thing is probably bigger than any of us imagine.

    Just my thoughts.

  23. @anon 05:14 How quickly you have forgotten about Troopergate. It was only a year ago. I remember reading the transcripts from the Alaska Legislature where they not only accused Sarah of abusing her office, but added the fact that Todd, acting as the enforcer had a table, chair and phone in her office even though he was not an employee of the state. From that phone, according to transcripts, he made many threatening telephone calls to get their former brother-in-law fired.

I think that Sarah and Todd could get pretty nasty on their own. You are right in adding the GOP as backing them up. We know that the McCain people went up to Wascilla and scrubbed the Johnston family's computers, and took down incriminating photos from the kids' FaceBook (or My Space) posts.

I think Sarah knew how to play hardball; she was famous for getting revenge if she felt some one had wronged her. And her thin skin didn't stop after the election. She tried to shut up Levi, Letterman and anyone else who said something unkind about her or her family. She screamed at People Magazine that Levi and Bristol were not high school drop outs, when, it was clear that they were not attending high school right before or after Tripp being born.

The GOP may want to continue to protect her mostly to protect their own reputation for picking her. The Alaska bloggers did a better job of vetting Sarah than they did, and they need to cover it up.

  26. OOP! CORRECTION! Repeating my post - I originally posted the video time from the actual Greta tape on YouTube. On Regina's video above it is at 0:26

Just back home and just now coming in on all of this - I haven't read any comments yet on how she taps, actually slaps (!) her 'baby' at around 0:26 in the video.

I have spent over 40 years working with pregnant couples and helping them give birth. I have attended and helped in over 2,500 births, all across Canada and in the United States as well.

NEVER in all that time, with all those women, did I ever ONCE see a mum-to-be drum on her baby/belly like that! Pregnant women, at 8 months pregnant will almost continuously stroke their baby - they stroke and caress and gently circle their bellies with their hands, often it is an unconscious gesture. Never have I ever seen a mum rat-a-tat-tap on her baby like that. THAT, for me, is the proof positive that there is no precious baby under the clothing. Look at it - starting at about 0:26 on Regina's video above.

  29. I agree that this video and the photos shown here (as well as the other sites like PD & Bree Palin) are very damning indeed, the question is..."will anyone investigate or delve into this?" and right now I am guessing the answer will be no. Even with photos showing the flat belly compared to the full fledged pregnant belly just 5 days later, no one will consider that "evidence" of anything (except those who are already convinced of it).

The "wild ride" story has been out there for a long time and no one has done anything about it, no one has questioned it.

The photos keep coming out and no one is investigating (except the bloggers).

There is no evidence other than these photographs/videos and the "wild ride story".

Personally, I think that a) people just don't want to believe that someone would go to such lengths to do such a thing and b) unless there is someone who actually finds some proof, nothing will result in this "babygate" investigation.

Rumors of Bristol getting a house next door to Mom & Dad's may well be to keep tabs on her and to keep her under their thumb. If the rumors are true, she'll never talk. So anything she knows will stay with her unless something seriously drastic happens.

Levi may know a lot, but are the majority going to believe him without some evidence to back up what he is saying? Perhaps, but that isn't a given by any means. I think that a lot of people will just always consider the Johnston family as people out to make a name off the Palin family and will say what they need to in order to make a buck. They may be telling the truth but getting people to believe it without some supporting evidence is going to be difficult, and we know that no matter what evidence is found, Sarah's fans will never believe it, or they will find away to explain it away just like they do with everything else.

The media itself has done so little investigating into her policies and actions while as Governor, so I find it hard to beleive that they would willingly jump onto this, no matter how much evidence is offered. Look at how little investigation was done into Troopergate by the media? Very little.

The bloggers are the ones who report the facts and sometimes the media picks up on it, and other times we sit and wonder what the heck is going on with them.

Just my .02 for the moment.

  30. Keep up the work, why is it everytime I can contribute something-it is midnight my time?

Everyone go to Palindeceptions blog-Mother's Day 2009 when Audrey did great research and released the 'Backstairs with the Boys' still photo I had sent her of the publically displayed framed photo. I also sent her a school newsletter that proved when these two boys went to Juneau and met Palin on the back staircase. Audrey dated the photo to April 8, 2009. Matches the Bree Palin video clip thanks to Fox.

Until I went to your link-I had no idea boys were videotaped as well. So... Greta provided clips and Mr. Frank so graciously made bucks on his video showing the two boys as they met the then Gov and posed for shots.
Fox probably has the full video in vault and keeps it for White House backmail when and if key players make it that far.
Anyone know a level headed investigative reporter coming through bush Alaska for the Iditarod or the Iron Dog this year? I would love to take them to the original still shot of the boys and see Palin's flat April
8th belly. Meet the families of these boys, get their impressions and how their Governor and GOP Veep candidate duped the nation.

Let's see, JUST 5 days later, her (fake)belly explodes in the posed Andrea Gutsy shot of April 13th.
Palin says she popped out a baby on April 18th out of that April
    8th flat belly.
And she tells the public and co-workers about March 7th she is preggers, day after McCain cinches nomination. All the while, Bristol is in hiding with mono at her Aunts' and allegedly never sees her family. What a crock.

Other Alaskans have info to contribute, we collectively need to wake-up, save face as a state and SHOW our balls, ladies and gentlemen. There is evidence out there. First hand accounts. It is time. Halloween is upon up. Start wearing the Palin masks with inflatable fake preggers bellies, already.

Better yet, show the nation what chronic liars, enablers, for the money opportunists this entire Palin gang is and the fraud the GOP perpetuated to cover up for political points. I'm mad as hell and ain't gonna take it anymore says this Alaskan! You too??

  31. Getting your message accepted:

Don't know if any of you have read the business book Made to Stick by Chip and Dan Heath about how to get your ideas accepted. We believe and have convinced ourselves of Palin's deception, but I think this needs some work to be accepted by everyone else. From this best-selling book, the key to creating traction is to make sure your message has the following components:

Simple: I still don't think it's simple enough (too many things to look at still to validate our thesis, though the shapeshifting pictures are pretty good)

Unexpected: it was unexpected Sept.08, but after a year there has to be something really new and surprising (IMO)

Concrete: are our arguments easily understandable by anyone who hasn't followed this for months?

Credible: are WE credible? I'm not so sure we are.

Emotional Story: how do we make people care? What would tug at their hearts?

Having the truth just isn't enough. Marketing is everything, but it is hard work. (I'm a long time reader of PD, just shy to share)

  32. How to tell if someone is lying: eyes

Excessive blinking and winking. Lying creates a lot of stress on the body. One of the most noticeable effects is a sudden increase in a dishonest person's blink rate. As the body goes through its efforts to destress itself, certain areas of the body may start to feel dry. For the same reasons some liars may lick their lips compulsively, others may blink their eyes in order to restore lubrication. Honest people don't experience these effects of stress, so their blink rate rarely changes. When determining if a speaker is being truthful or not, observe their blink rates before, during and after their speech.

Eye rolling. Some liars will literally roll their eyes as they speak, as if they were looking for the next line in a script. In a sense, that's precisely what they're doing. Whenever the mind is asked to create a fictional story, most people will subconsciously look up from time to time. If the story is absolutely truthful and being repeated from memory, most people stop rolling their eyes. Liars will continue to look upwards as they embellish their stories.

  33. I think it is important to remember that it was an Alaska Airlines SPOKESPERSON Caroline Boren that said: “Governor Palin was extremely pleasant to flight attendants and her stage of pregnancy was not apparent by observation as she didn’t show any signs of distress.”

I have never seen where the flight attendants were directly interviewed. They would probably be fired. We are supposed to just take the word from a spokesperson from a corporation which used to put prayer cards in on-board meals proselytizing their religion upon all their passengers.

  40. With some people, facial expressions are not a giveaway. I watched one in action last night, she can blatantly tell untruths (mixed in with truths, naturally) while looking you straight in the eye. In this woman's case, she seems to treat others like children who are not ready or able to or need to know the truth. I think that is how she justifies her lies, and once you have justified to yourself the reason for telling them it becomes MUCH easier. (For the liar, at least, not so much for the recipients of the lie). This particular woman is so accom-plished that you cannot tell from her voice either, and I only knew she was lying because I knew details which most of the audience did not,
although the details were easily accessed information and not secrets. Unlike Miss Sarah, this woman is VERY aware of her self-image. And very attractive too. I am glad she is happy in her own little pond and not seeking elective office. (I hope).

There are people who literally believe that the truth is whatever they say it is. Unfortunately the rest of us tend to believe them ! Someday this will be recognized as a serious mental disorder.

  43. Some random thoughts:

Sarah often displays all kinds of signs (people call them "tells") while she speaks. She often finds herself in a position where she truly cannot answer because she is so uninformed, and she panics. Any of her nervous answers to Katy Couric would be examples. The wild ride story was not believable, and her explanation was even worse. People in Alaska may have bought her act and found her folksy and authentic. On the national stage, it didn't sell.

There is no point interviewing Alaska flight attendants, not then, not now. Some time ago, Gryphen hinted that there were rumors of a federal investigation heading in Sarah's direction. To address the rumor, her lawyer produced a regional FBI agent, on a Saturday morning, to say that there was no FBI investigation.
It didn't change the rumor, but it showed that Sarah and lawyer can get someone, anyone to say something on their behalf. Troopergate is an example of how they bullied and intimidated people.

Our best evidence is the lack of statement. As required, the flight attendants have to check the seat belts during take off and landing. If they did not notice that Sarah was pregnant, then either she had the world's tightest abs, was not in distress, was the world's greatest actress or might not have been pregnant.

Will we ever learn the truth? Sometimes it does take a long time for the child come to terms with their psychological problems and finally need to unburden themselves. I am reminded of the movie "Mommy Dearest" an unflattering biography of Joan Crawford written by one of her daughters.

Today's example is McKenzie Phillips, whose story may or may not be true, or most likely, contains some amount of truth. It was horrible for her father to inject her with drugs when she was thirteen, and no one has denied that part of the story. Look what she has had to deal with all these years.

In the non-celebrity world, Dr.Phil has guests who remember being abused as a child and want to confront the abuser in order to resolve these terrible issues. Sarah may think that she is controlling Bristol with a house, a car and a nanny. However, if Bristol carries too much psychological baggage for too long, Bristol just might have to unload to get her mind straight.
(Or, any of the kids who trembled in fear or sympathized with Bristol may have the same kind of reaction in the future). It may come back to haunt Sarah in a much worse way than a National Enquirer story right now ever could.

You guys could meet at the playground or at the store, and with kids, it is easy to start up a conversation, "Is your little guy talking yet?" I think there is a good story there, but it is going to take many play dates and good acting to pull it off. You can do it!

  51. At 4:21 in the video Miss Sarah calls herself an 'old pregnant lady' (in the context of working out) and says that 'yesterday' she had to go to the gym and 'sweat it out'. So that would have been April 7th.
Now, I know that walking, swimming, etc. is good even late in pregnancy, but 'sweating it out' ? Because elevated body temperatures, like you get from a hard workout, are NOT good and that is why expectant women are told not to use hot tubs or take really hot baths . . .

    ReplyDelete
  52. Re Frekis at 13:16 on getting a message accepted.

This is an interesting explanation, and I think it may help explain what we are up against. If you'll remember back to the Convention, there were all kinds of rumors out there that Sarah did not birth Trig but simply adopted Bristol's illegitimate baby. Sarah "disproved" those rumors by announcing that Bristol was 5 months preggers (again?). As a result, virtually all speculation that Sarah wasn't pregnant was scrubbed from the internet. Ever since then we've been fighting an uphill battle because all we can do is come up with more and more proof that she wasn't pregnant. But since the corporate media had already "decided" that the pregnancy charade rumors were "false", no one will look at it (except Andrew, bless him). I've heard people say Sarah looks pregnant in those 8 April photos because her face is full (like she was carrying Trig in her cheek?!).

I'm not sure what we can do at this point, short of finding someone "inside" who is willing to spill the truth. Those of us with any sense look at these photos/videos and want to scream. But to other people we seem to fall into the same category as that crazy Russian Israeli woman who keeps coming up with new fake Kenyan birth certificates.

  53. @18:40 - it's even worse than that. Read Blumenthat's book REPUBLICAN GOMORRAH. Palin thinks she is protected by a witch-chasing evangelical, Rev. Muthee. She also thinks, like Sanford, that she is "chosen" and above things like the law and truth.

    ReplyDelete
  54. In the court of public opinion, all that's needed is reasonable doubt that Sarah gave birth to Trig. We have reached that threshold. This alone, along with all the ethical problems (as though lying about a pregnancy, which was used to curry favor with religious radicals wasn't enough), should make it nearly impossible for her to campaign for anything (people would have doubts about her being dog catcher, now). Now they have demanded to see the part of the contract that makes that information "proprietary." The floodgates are opening.

She is in hiding. She couldn't restrain herself from commenting on every thing said about her earlier (legal threats, twitter, "stop making stuff up"), so I think that her handlers are having a difficult time, right now, preventing her from lashing out at her "enemies." We have witnessed quite a change in her personality, which I cannot explain.

A breakthrough occurred recently with the Alaska Personnel Office (see Celtic Diva's recent posts) where the board decided to backtrack on whether Sarah needs to disclose Todd's Arctic Cat funding, because the board realized that they had taken Sarah's word for the fact -- her assertion -- that the information was "proprietary."

  55. This is a game for SP! SHe is acting a role for the most attention and the biggest pay check she can muster.

THis is a very big game! She has a stacked deck to play this game with. Gods will, big oil, women's issues, fox media, Palin bots, good old GOP boys, big mining, Joe six pack, Joe the plumber, joe the jock, very powerful defense contractors, corporate corruption, and the NRA are some of her wild cards.

She will keep the act (lies) up as long as possible. SHe is getting payed to play the game and she loves it. THis IS a VERY dangerous Game. Very powerful players want a pretty lady to front there miss conduct, so to say. She all about fame and fortune, and looking good for the cameras. SHe lies like a carpet, that covers up all the dog shit. She has a real future in politics.

  58. An interesting thing is that the "news" at Politico, about her having more than 1000 speaking offers, which I think the "reporter" copied from a press release by Sarah's handlers, doesn't seem to be true.

If she's got so many offers, why isn't she out speaking more? An old saying: "make hay while the sun shines," and I think, in her case, the sun won't be shining for long, considering that many republicans don't want her "help" with their campaigns.

I also think that her engagement at CLSA was mediated by Murdoch's people. It may be that she only got expenses for the trip, just to get her out there in a vain attempt to establish some credibility in the wake of all the ethics problems and her "quit" of the governorship. Remember that we've only had rumours concering her speaking fee and it would be in the interest of her handlers to generate some excitement about her.

Quitting a governorship for other than health or scandalous reasons is just not credible. Her demanour, when she gave the resignation speech, is also telling.
Of course, it may be like Levi said, that she was bored and wanted to make more money. If so, why isn't she speaking more? But, realistically, politicians that go on the speaking circuit do so when they are done with politics. That isn't to say, however, that we must drop our guard. She's sneaky, and given an opportunity will take whatever she can take.

I would say that she is rolling rather large right now. She made a fast clean escape from the Gov., and cashed in some big chips! She might be more cunning this time around and willing to take a little more advice from her promoters$$$$$$.

SHe is smart enough to keep her promoters happy by STFU!, as long as she keeps getting the gold. She will be on the national sean again, with better training, more cover-ups, and a patriotic pitch.

    I agree
    why hide it
Yes married adult with kids, already

I keep harping but this whole bit of hiding a pregnancy and crying when she thinks about it (sad tears.. if there are any tears could just be drama queen)
    That is pretty shameful

She is adored by pro-lifers but someone who LOVES LIFE..
God never makes mistakes.. all children are beautiful
Why would she find this pregnancy shameful... and hide it.. out of embarrassment ?

I wonder where the prego photos of her other pregnancy photos are .. I know there is the one of Track
In that one.. she is a real "mama to be"
"Sure I gained weight.. ugh big shirts .. it's all about this baby.."
..and I am sure the nursery.. and a baby shower.. congratulations

So Trig is going to find out one day (it's plastered all over the internet) that his mom was ashamed of him.. wouldn't tell anyone.. tried to hide it under scarves.. carried on with business as usual .. no joy, no anticipation .. no rubbing the belly as she is carrying "God's gift"
Just shame.. and more interested in people not knowing .. and then when she did reveal it .. it wasn't about the baby (God's blessing) .. it was about her tight abs.. how noone knew (and she says that with pride)

    and she is a pro-lifer?
I think IF (when pigs fly) she did carry Trig.. the only reason she kept the pregnancy on going was she was too much in the public eye and too much of a bible thumper to risk word getting out that she had an abortion

She had no regard for his health and safety and "emotional health" .. babies "feel" even when in the womb
As someone mentioned.. no caressing her belly in public... just a pat pat pat to show how strong her abs were and such glee in her eyes that noone suspected anything.. and then to put his life at risk because she had a speech to give

No matter which way you spin this tale.. if she's a big faker or really did give birth
She is a self centered witch

  61. Hey Congrats to all on this. Bree, amazing as usual. Hopefully the link from Andrew Sullivan will bring even more people who actually want to read and look and decide for themselves just how pregnant Sarah WAS and why she and TAHD decided that they had to hide a pregnancy? That's been the root of the whole thing for me.

Why would a couple spitting out babies like bunnies suddenly chose to HIDE a pregnancy? No one has ever satisfactorily explained that small issue? Starting from the very beginning, way back when, why would SP choose to disguise her pregnancy? It never made any sense at all.

So if you take it from there and work forward, none of the whole Trigger thing has EVER made sense if Sarah is the mother. She's over 44, married, has MANY children, is an elected Governor to a State, and all of a sudden it's "pregger high school" B.S.

    Regina:
If you have the IP address for anon@6:57, please contact (or have one of us in the States) the Secret Service and provide them with the information on the death threat and the posters information. I'll offer to help with that - if you want to send me the info privately. It is against Federal Law to make a death threat against POTUS.

  62. I would like to draw your attention to a highly interesting post by Phil Munger on Progressive Alaska.

    http://tinyurl.com/y9z9kta

In this post, Phil linked to Bree Palin and posted the picture of Sarah Palin in the staircase on the 8th April 2008, having a distinctly flat belly.

Phil Munger, who so far always was a "babygate sceptic", writes:

"An image capture screenshot of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, taken ten days before the birth of her son, Trig. The screen shot is from a long FOX News video on Palin, and the date of the shoot is April 8th, 2008. Trig was born April 18th, 2008.

Having seen Palin in the late stages of two of her previous pregnancies, I find this image disturbing. I've written here before on which of the four Trig birth scenarios I subscribe to, but this image leaves me unsettled."

    ReplyDelete
  63. Regina, I would like to second what Anon and Basheert have said about reporting the threat to POTUS on this thread, esp. in light of this horrible news reported today about this Facebook poll:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/28/obama-facebook-poll-asks_n_301860.html"

We need to work with the Secret Service to expose those who threaten harm, as the poster did above @6:57.

  64. "I am an OB doc. If she thought her membranes were ruptured, she should have sought a medical evaluation in person prior to boarding a prolonged flight. As a fifth-time mother, she could easily have gone into labor while on the plane. She also could have had a fetus in distress from umbilical cord prolapse or from very low amniotic fluid volume - neither of which would give her symptoms. An infection could have started after rupture of membranes or even caused the rupture of membranes, though those are less likely."

From the Washington Times comments linked-to by Phil Munger, here.

Don't forget that the Washington Times is a rah-rah, republicans paper!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Regina:
Please email me with the IP info - you really do need to get this reported to the Secret Service.

These threats are taken seriously and I know you are not in the US.

SP "was" a high risk pregnancy. Everything about this pregnancy was a fake. Anyone with any medical training or education knew this from the time the DS was diagnosed.

DS in and of itself is not necessarily high risk however it comes with a cascade of complications that can involve cardiac, liver, renal abnormalities.

"Mother of the Year" would never have chosen that particular physician or hospital, or made that speech and long flight IF she was really pregnant with that baby.

It's just one more fake story from a fake Sarah who couldn't tell the truth if she was paid to do it.

    She's bats*it crazy people.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Rachel Slajda at Talking Points Memo has been reporting today on the Facebook Poll: "Should Obama Be Killed." (Sorry, I can't cut/paste the link here.) Facebook removed the post and contacted the Secret Service, who are investigating the source. So, yes, Palingates should report the comments of @6:57.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I am remembering some of the Sarah jibberish that she spouted in explaining her "pregnancy." I can understand not telling people at work until it was necessary, but Sarah also stated that she did not tell her own mother until she (Sarah) was 7 months pregnant.

Most people cannot relate to this. Usually, before telling the press and the co-workers, one would share that kind of information with parents. And then I remembered Bristol's strange stories about having to tell her mother that she was pregnant. It was harder than labor remembered Bristol.

There were different versions of the same story. Levi remembered telling Sarah two weeks after Trig was born. Others remembered it later. There was that story about waving the pregnancy test strip in front of Sherry. There was a story about having to bring a friend. Nobody in that family tells a straight story about what should be a moment that is easy to remember.

I wonder how Sarah told her parents that she and Todd were expecting a child and planning to get married? Which do you think came first?

    ReplyDelete
  68. I thought it was well known that she (like Bristol) got pregnant before she was married. (THAT apple didn't fall far from the tree).

See that is what makes no sense? I can understand waiting until you're through the first trimester because 40-50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. But SEVEN months when you already have so many kids you have forgotten how many?

Doesn't make any sense at all.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Anon 22:16,
ONE story I remember that SP told about her and Todd getting married was that they decided to elope to save her parents the cost of a wedding because it had been a bad fishing season. BUT, her father was a schoolteacher, and her mother also had a job in education, from what I recall. So they should have been able to afford a simple wedding, you would think.

But then Track was born 8 months later. It can be traditional to elope and forgo the "white wedding" when baby is already on the way. And "old fashioned" parents may not agree to pay for a wedding when there's a baby on the way. Seems like who was really saving the money was Todd and Sarah.

I always thought it was strange that if Todd and Sarah were so in love for so many years, that they would wait to get married until SP was apparently already pregnant. It also seems strange that Track doesn't have the family resemblance that Bristol, Willow, and Piper all share. Just sayin'...

    ReplyDelete
  70. I doubt Regina can get the IP address of the poster. Blogger does not give that information. Tracking software can tell you who is logging on and off and at what time but it doesn't tell you which IP posted at a specific time.

Google will not give out ip addresses either except by cout order so if there are any threats made, they still should br reported to the FBI. They will look into it.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Didn't we hear the same story (gossip, rumor) about Sarah's mom and dad? How about her sisters?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Re: reporting death threats to the secret service -

If you go to my twitter page at www.twitter.com/PalinTruthWatch and look at one of the most recent posts, there is one about a woman who sent a link to a "Should Obama be Killed" poll, to the secret service. She received a call from them shortly after , thanking her profusely , saying that they depend on those of us on the internet to help them stay on top of these threats.

    ReplyDelete
  73. At this point,I don't think Sarah even knows what she says when.

She has told so many lies she can't remember who she has said "what" to.

    ReplyDelete
  74. To 22:23, just a small point, but 40 - 50% of pregnancies do not end in miscarriage. The correct statistic is 15 - 20%. But yes, many people do wait until 12 weeks to tell people because at that point the risk of miscarriage is low. It really does make no sense that she hid this pregnancy. I think she may have said that she didn't want to seem vulnerable, as she was governor. That is stretching it.

  75. +++BREAKING NEWS+++

Sarah Palin's autobiography, "Going Rogue", will already be published on 17th November !!!

1.5 million copies will be printed by Harper initially!!

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/28/sarah-palin-memoir-going-_n_302246.html

This will be a riot - quittypants publishes her biography, and we will expose her at the same time! Unbelievable!!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Sarah's book, "Going Rouge, an American Life" is due Nov.17, rushed into print from the original spring date. They have ordered 1 1/2 million copies, so we can expect to see it at all Republican websites as a special offer. What is amazing is that Sarah wrote all 400 pages in 4 months.

I wonder why they are rushing it out so soon? Could it be that Sarah's star is fading quickly and they have to cash in fast. Watch out for the book blitz, I mean book tour.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yea! I mean, did you need any more proof that her "brand" is tarnished? Even Murdoch now thinks Palin has a short shelf life. It sure was a "fast write," wasn't it? And to think the truth is about to break while it's probably too late to change anything in the book!

I assume you're being sarcastic. Sarah did not write the book, as we all know (I think even she admits she's using a ghostwriter, which is common. I'm not knocking that, per se). But of all people, no way could our Sarah write a 400-page book in so short a time. Too much work! She'd quit half way through.

  90. I think that Murdoch is dumping Sarah as fast as possible and that's why the book is being released in November. The title tells you everything.

The way she looked at the airport in Hong Kong leads me to believe that she had no help from a stylist. The text of her speech seems to indicate no professional speechwriter. Her rumpled jacket looked like it was pulled out of her suitcase with no pressing and her hair and makeup appeared not to be professionally done, unlike her appearances during the campaign. All of this adds up to a lack of professional support from Murdoch.

If indeed he wanted to transform Sarah, ala Eliza Doolittle, into a viable candidate, he certainly would have made sure that she had a powerful speech to deliver that would not undermine her creditability and that she looked put-together at the airport with coherent talking points.

We need backup sites for everything especially since somebody is clearly trying to block this Babygate info from popping! You could copy/paste threads as they happened.

    Sandra,
What do you mean "they were starting to take insterest"? Was there comments?
    RAM doesn't allow truther talk?
Do you have a link or example of comments?
    Thanks

  139. Hey I have it too - saved it as a PDF file....

  140. So tell me why HP won't publish any comments that mention babygate? Compared to all the other brash and lewd posts, this information is not just, someone's opinion. Oh well, it's getting out there anyway. I think there will be many publications, including net ones, who will be stumbling around with their proverbial tail between their legs!

Thank you friends, for all of your hard work!

my wv: peeder, as in "Rob Peter to pay Paul," or Rob uniformed conservatives to pay Bristol, Levi, Sadie.....

  141. We were all wondering why Sarah's lawyers hadn't menaced the blogs which have been running babygate stories & photos. Now we know that they really are on edge-- or Bree's site being taken down after all of this traffic and conversation has been a remarkable coincidence.

(Gerald Rivera says that there are no coincidences).

This is the big question: Is it better to get all of the Babygate evidence together, photos, timeline, video, anything else and get it out there in advance of Sarah's million dollar best seller? Or, is it going to be more fun to fact check her story in the book against everything that she ever said??

Let me say it slowly for Sarah's friends: Her book had better match every public statement that Sarah or anyone else for that matter has ever said- including chatty Chuck Heath. That wild ride story better not change one word!

  142. Here is why Arianna will not allow mentions of Babygate. Any mention of SP brings a swarm of hits and comments to Huffington Post. A mention of Babygate will have the same effect, except that issue, sooner or later, will end the SP gravy train for Arianna Huffington. Arianna wants to ride that train all the way to the station (bank). She has no intention of publishing anything that will wreck that money train any sooner than necessary. What do Arianna and SP have in common? They are both in it for the power and the money.

I have been a big fan of Arianna for many years. She is one of Bill Maher's best pals (but so are Ann Coulter and Amy Holmes). When Arianna speaks of Obama's big boo-boo in selecting Geitner and Summers, and other such economic issues, she speaks brilliantly on the money. However, concerning her fascination with her support in lengthening SP's career, all I can say is, with friends like these, who needs enemas?

    ReplyDelete
  143. I agree, Floyd. Arianna is all about the money, alas.

  144. crystalwolf: There were a few comments about the Bree video. It was very disguised, and someone asked about it. The poster dismissed it as a Trig thing. You can probably catch it on the thread about the bridge to nowhere.

There was definitely some interest and then the announcement of the publication got the sheeples running in a different direction. It was fun to watch in real time.

  147. Here's the interesting thing about times in the past when Blogger blogs have been down.

Periodically Blogger.com will be down for maintenance. When this happens, Google posts info about this in advance at the Blogger Buzz blog on Blogger.com itself. No warning about scheduled maintenance was posted recently.

And when Blogger is down due to unexpected problems, ALL Blogger blogs are usually unavailable. They're not listed as deleted - just when you go to those blogs in your browser window, the browser just keeps spinning and the blog never shows. That didn't happen today.

When a Blogger blog gets flooded with massive traffic, it usually just comes up as "unavailable." It doesn't say "This blog has been deleted," which is what it said about Bree Palin's blog for a while today.

And if a blog has been flagged by readers as unsuitable, it shows "Sorry, this blog has been deleted." If this happens, you can email them a request for reinclusion. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. They remove a ton of spam blogs and if they think your blog is spam (or maybe if they just don't like it?) your blog won't be reinstated.

So basically, piss off the Big G (Google) and you're toast.

So today we have ONE blog "accidentally" appearing to be deleted for a period RIGHT at the exact time the most damaging material on Babygate is released to a wider audience in the blogosphere.

    Hmmm. Curiouser and curiouser.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Has anyone ever written Huffington and said WTF!!! Breaking this story would be great for biz. Why wouldn't Arianna want that??

It bugs me they suppress the truth, it's wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Babygate has been advanced considerably in the last 24 hours, courtesy of Bree's discovery and publication of the Fox video. In addition, Dennis Zaki has posted a cryptic new statement in his Rumor Central feature. Patrick, Regina, other readers and followers -- can you align this new statement with any of the other 'gates'?

Curious all the happenings this afternoon, evening. The book announcement, Bree's blog is down for a short time. Coincident to videos and related discussions, hmmmm. Any insight on what DZ mentions would be of interest.

    creepy wv: cotrist

    ReplyDelete
  150. I'd suggest the take down of Bree's site was very curious.

This link will take you to the blogger "content policy", and after reading it, there is absolutely nothing that was or is on Bree's site that would be considered a "violation".

    http://www.blogger.com/content.g

Now the key to why they (Google Blogger) could simply delete a site is found in their TOS:
    10. Termination; Suspension. Google may, in its sole discretion, at any time and for any reason, terminate the Service, terminate this Agreement, or suspend or terminate your account. In the event of termination, your account will be disabled and you may not be granted access to your account or any files or other content contained in your account although residual copies of information may remain in our system for some time for back-up purposes. Sections 2, 3, 5 - 8, and 10 - 15 of the Agreement, along with applicable provisions of the general Terms of Service (including the section regarding limitation of liability), shall survive expiration or termination.

    http://www.blogger.com/terms.g

So basically, even if you do nothing to violate their TOS or content policy, they can (and obviously do) delete your account at will.

We know that Bree's is back up, but there is no way to know if it will last, especially considering what has already transpired, so I would suggest that everyone with a blogger account back up anything and everything you have, and that includes those who support those sites.

Don't risk that information will simply disappear, and let's not allow this action to stop the voices for " tell the truth" from being heard.

  151. Hi all, Thanks for all the hard work.
Does anyone else remember James Frey, and the memior he wrote called "A Million Little Pieces." It was an Oprah pick and made him very rich. Smoking Gun did a fact check and found out most of it was an outright lie or extreme embellishment. Maybe they would consider a go at Sarah book, if it is still coming out in the midst of all this controversy. And when does Levi's mom go to court? Maybe right after the book launch? Hmmmm...

    ReplyDelete
  152. Anon@ 5:35

Sarah's book is being released on Nov 17 and Sherry Johnston's court date is Nov 20.

  153. Please send Bree Palin and this blog to everyone in your address books. It is obvious some big players want this TRUTH squashed. Thiw woman has gotten away with so much. This has got to be one of the biggest scandals in American politics ever. We will find someone will take this story on and it is not going to go away.

  154. I don't care if Sarah Palin fakes a birth. I do care about our electoral system and the people who would over look or take part in the biggest hoax of the century.

When someone is that much of a fraud you would think the powers that be somewhere in our country would care. What is the message, it is alright to be a fraud as long as you aren't called out by the mainstream?

I wish more people could get over Sarah and concentrate on the bigger picture of this fraud. McCain had/has no right to manipulate the public so he could get his dumb arse elected. They don't stop lying b/c lying by omission is a lie. Keep nailing these rogues, all of them.

  155. Maybe Scarah went rogue with Murdick....that's why she looked so disheveled. No more Eliza make over!

  157. Per Dennis Zaki, Alaska Report, as someone above mentioned: Rumor Central: Big story still heading towards the S.S. Palin
A deal-breaker is heading toward the Palins. Can it be stopped? I don't think so. Will it topple the house of cards, all signs say yes. Stay tuned...

    Interesting!!!

  158. Well MSNBC just said that Palin is LOVED by a lot, mostly southerners. Said GOP wants to "use" her for campaign help. Said people have high regard for her and her MORALS.
    PLEASE stop this insanity.

    ReplyDelete
  159. To Pat, that runs contrary to what many candidates said when she quit and announced that she wanted to campaign for people (incl democrats! ha!). I think one was quoted as saying he'd like her help. Otherwise, it was a big: don't call me, I'll call you. I'm sure Michele Bachmann would love to campaign with her soulmate, though. They could have a rally complete with torches and angry townsfolk!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Hi, all---especially Kallie from Texas.

Just one thing puzzles me about the Palin video. When she taps her stomach, it sounds like a real stomach and not a pillow.

    Can anybody help explain that?

    ReplyDelete
  161. Anon @ 17:00, the first time I saw that Elan Frank video and observed Palin slapping -- not tapping -- her stomach and hearing the sound it made, it sure didn't sound like a taut pregnant stomach to me!

It sounded more like she slapped a gel-filled pad -- you know, like one of those gel-packs you usually put into the freezer, then place in your old-style cooler to keep the fish from spoiling while you're fishing with Todd and the girls?

P.S. I think you might also get feedback from a lot of ladies on this blog who have been pregnant and who KNOW any expectant mother looking forward to giving birth treats her expanding tummy with loving care, caressing it, not slapping it. They know the sentient life within can hear and feel that kind of treatment.

Exhibit #1 of Palin's cynicism and selfishness that she'd even do that to her fake gel-pad "baby".

    ReplyDelete
  162. Thanks, KaJo!

I've never had a baby, so I don't know how it should sound.

  165. I am confused slightly. If she was never pregnant where does everyone think Trig came from, adopted?
I am not being a smarty or anything, honest. I went to this link because everytime I hear Sarah the quitter talk, I throw up in my mouth!
    She's an insult to women!
But I am seriously confused this.
