The Daily Mail reports that Sarah Palin has arranged a visit to London to meet Margaret Thatcher.
The conversation between these two war loving, divisive women who think they're some kind of queen may be a little bit one-sided:
Thatcher won't have the foggiest idea about who this "Sarah Palin" is. As a matter of fact, I doubt Margaret Thatcher is aware of who the president of the United States is at the moment.
The old "Iron Lady" gets carted out very now and then to visit Downing Street in a purely ceremonial exercise, very much as a... prop. I suppose British leaders need to have their photos taken with the old trout before she pops her clogs...
Sarah Palin would be better off having her photo-op at Madame Tussaud's wax museum. She could pose with Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan!

Controversial US politician Sarah Palin could soon be on her way to Britain to boost her hopes of challenging Barack Obama in the 2012 US presidential election.
Her representatives approached Margaret Thatcher to ask for a meeting as part of a bid to enhance her claim to be the ‘heir to Ronald Reagan’ and prepare to challenge Mr Obama.
And Lady Thatcher has agreed to see Mrs Palin, who stood as the Republican vice-presidential candidate in 2008. A spokesman said: ‘We had an informal approach asking if Lady Thatcher would meet Mrs Palin if she comes to Britain and we said yes.’

The daughter of former UK prime minister Margaret Thatcher has spoken for the first time about her mother's struggle with dementia.
In her new book, serialised in the Mail on Sunday, Carol Thatcher says she first noticed her mother's memory was failing over lunch in 2000.
Ms Thatcher goes on to describe how telltale signs of dementia then began to emerge.
"Whereas previously you would never have had to say anything to her twice, because she'd already filed it away in her formidable memory bank, Mum started asking the same questions over and over again, unaware she was doing so.
Ms Thatcher describes how she had to learn to be patient and that her mother "had an illness and that it wasn't personal".
"That's the worst thing about dementia: it gets you every time," she says.
"Sufferers look and act the same but beneath the familiar exterior something quite different is going on.
"They're in another world and you cannot enter."
On bad days her mother can "hardly remember the beginning of a sentence by the time she got to the end", she says.
