MSNBC reports about Sarah Palin's bus tour hoax and mentions "Palingates"!

MSNBC mentions "Palingates"!

Citizen-bloggers can make it into the mainstream media - here is more proof for it. This is good news for EVERY blogger!

MSNBC: Can you now please start to report about Sarah Palin's faked pregnancy with Trig ("babygate")?

It's about time that the mainstream media finally does its job and reports this huge scandal!
+++

You can never look at these pictures often enough - but let me also say it's not just pictures we have, but in addition we have solid inside information about the FACT that Sarah Palin hasn't given birth to Trig (click to enlarge):

Graphics created by our reader WayOfPeace,

This is how Sarah Palin looked
when she was pregnant with Track (click to enlarge).

Sarah did claim that she didn't need to hide her pregnancy because she had tight abs. Think about that. She is saying she didn't look pregnant because she was able to hold her gut in. Then look at the other women, many of whom have tighter abs than Sarah Palin. Now, ask yourself: if their pregnancies showed in spite of their tight abs, how could Sarah Palin not show because she had tight abs?

Another point: Why would Sarah Palin want to "hide" a pregnancy? "Hide" was the word she used when she told why she didn't show (she said that she didn't need to "hide" the pregnancy, because she had tight abs).

Hannah, I think the pics Patrick has put up do the job. The bots would try to spin Sarah Palin's own admission that she faked it.

I noticed as some other posters have that Andrew Sullivan has postulated that SP concocted the Wild Ride story to make herself look better, tougher, whatever, although she wasn't really in distress but gave birth to Trig the next morning, anyway. He might just be saying that (while concluding as we do that she faked it) but although it is a nice face-saving theory, it runs dead into the confirmable facts.

First and foremost, she went straight to the hospital from the airport in Anchorage. That screams urgency, although she certainly could not have needed urgent care during the Wild Ride.

Second, if she made up the story, why deliver the baby a month early by induced labor, as Dr. CBJ said was the case.

Third, and perhaps most damaging to that theory, if you listen to SP actually tell the story to Lisa Demer, she is continually downplaying the urgency to make it seem less "heroic". If she made up the story in advance to make herself seem stronger and braver, she would embellish it with positives, not demur when pressed for details.

More than likely, the Wild Ride story as she told it was hastily concocted to concurrently explain why 1) she left Texas early, 2) she didn't seek medical care before flying across the continent, and 3) why Trig showed up the next day.

Naturally, these circumstances can't be rationalized, so her story is full of holes. But those three confirmable events are consistent with her faking a pregnancy that had to conclude urgently (for whatever reason) and being caught out of town. When you add into the mix that she went straight to the farthest possible hospital, I don't see any other conclusion one can draw without ignoring the facts.

PS most people don't brag about wetting themselves, you need medical help.

I was just on the Fairbanks Newsminer website and they have a story about Palin's trip to Mo. It was bitterly cold and some listened to a hillside preacher recite Bible verses while waiting for Palin. Pics at Bree's site show Trig getting off the bus in MO..with no shoes, no hat, and no coat, Mrs Palin, Where are your brains? How could anyone be so self-centered?

Anonymous said...

You know Sarah has been reading here and at Bree's, now she has a piece of hair hanging down the right side of her face to cover the abcess on her right cheek in front of her ear. Looks almost like when a nearly-bald man uses the few long hairs he has left to do the comb-over, so no one will notice he is bald. lol

The other day when I pulled up one of those pictures, I thought her abcess had burst, but it turned out it was a splatter on my monitor screen. Any day I have been waiting to see if some doctor is gonna lance that sucker. Ewww!

Remember my friends that when the trolls show up, it's because their queen is upset. Or they look at the pictures and can't figure out how she blew up in five days. LOL.

hence, we are onto something here.

Why do you and the commenters on this blog attack Palin's hair and looks? If you're so perfect, shouldn't you be modeling instead of blogging about Palin's vagina all day? Why don't you have a photo of yourself up?

Moron. Palin's turds are better looking than you. Sarah is smart and beautiful, unlike you. Only an ugly nerd would sit in their moms basement and blog about a womans vagina all day.

Let's see a photo of you. I'm waiting for you to post one...

Dangerous, Sarah Palin's telling of the wild-ride to enhance peoples' perception of her toughness might only fit this pattern: in the state championship basketball game (the one in which she did NOT score the winning point), it's said that she was playing with a fractured ankle and that the coach knew she was in distress. By the way, she didn't know that her ankle was fractured, because a doctor wasn't consulted before the game but afterward. Now, remember, that is Sarah Palin's story, which may have been concocted to enhance some image of toughness; however, whatever the case, I think that, if true, it shows poor judgement on her part, a selfishness inasmuch as she would play injured and risk the game's outcome just so she could get some time on the court. There is a video interview that covers this story, at ESPN; it's the one where she claims to be "wired different."

Sarah Palin is a master-manipulator and a person who has always succeeded in her petty disputes with the less fortunate.

Imagine you are she. You always need to impress your grumpy, violent prone father...so you tell him the many tales of your glory:

winning basket (debunked by Todd of all people)

Wild Ride (later debunked by Sarah herself)

Teleprompter gone rogue (later debunked by the teleprompter and audience itself)

etc

Anonymous said...

She lies about not having health insurance (thank you Todd). She lies about Todd not being a member of AIP. She lies she lies she lies.

She lies about the bridge to nowhere. She lies about the ebay plane. She lies about being anti-pork. She lies about being a reformer.

She lies. She lies. She lies.

She lies about her daughters. She lies about her son's deployment decision. She lies about her decision to accept McCAin's offer. She lies. She lies. She lies.

Who in their right mind would think she is NOT lying about Trig?

Anonymous said...

OT: if anyone is interested in how Sarah got the 'barracuda' nickname, Frank Carney has said that it's because she sucked up to the coach and dissed the other girls to get more playing time that her skill would normally allow. She didn't gett to play much, if she only scored once in the state championship game. Probably didn't hurt that her dad was a coach and, so, hung out with the other coaches and talked-up his daughter.

It is interesting that Laura Bush said that Sarah was pregnant at the Governor’s Convention on
Feb 25, 2008, because Sarah said she kept her pregnancy a secret and didn’t announce that she was pregnant until the March 7, 2008.

Remember, everyone was shocked when Sarah announced her pregnancy because she didn’t look pregnant! So there is no way that Laura Bush would have know Sarah was pregnant on Feb 25, 2009, because you couldn’t tell by looking and she didn’t announce her pregnancy until the first week of March 2008!

Oh, nepotism was a part of her Grand Basketball Championship Winning Basket- oops, not winning basket.

I guess that's another lie from her book, where she explains she doesn't back Todd's mother because she would not want to be involved in nepotism (she didn't use big word; I'm paraphrasing).

You know, the "wired different" comments are interesting. She says that a lot. "I'm not wired that way", etc. So exceptional, that Sarah.

Remember the trolls only show up when the comments and truth get close to bringing down their idol. So when they show up in droves we know we're on to something BIG. Let them piss on themselves and talk about vagina's, its tough for them seeing their icon going down in front of their eyes.

So if someone disagrees with you, they're a "troll"?

Aren't liberals supposed to be "open-minded"? You aren't being very open-minded by calling me a troll for saying my opinion.

The most important thing folks must understand about these trolls is this: they are sent here to distract, primarily in a desperate attempt to CHANGE THE SUBJECT. Anything to keep us from talking about the many questions surrounding Sarah Palin. They are trying to keep us from talking about our ideas, and more importantly, from sharing any damning information. They will keep trying, but we must ignore them completely, not take their bait, and stick to the task at hand. So much to talk about, so little time. Is there any information about just exactly who is riding on this bus with Sarah? (When she's on it, that is.) And also, is there anyone who can shed light on Todd's whereabouts?

See what I mean, that 1:24 is trying to pick a fight. Ignore, and proceed.

Yes, and remember in her book when she describes her fall after running on a scree covered hill, she claims she needed stitches, but toughed it out with a bandaid, as if a VP candidate on old man McCain's estate couldn't possibly get discrete and private care from a doctor.
Furthermore, if she had actually been able to successfully hide 7 months of prenatal care for a 43 year old woman carrying a down syndrome baby (not at all routine prenatal care), as she claims to have done, then hiding a trip to a private doc to get a few stitches would have been a piece of cake.
Bottom line, the woman loves to project an image of being tough as nails, able to work through any adversity (although cooking a turkey on Thanksgiving day is too much to ask).

As an aside, I have never seen such disgusting comments, nor such transparent trolls on this site, especially the ridiculous troll claiming to be a liberal and wetting him or herself.
No need for moderation though. They're pretty obvious.

For the Palin supporters who seem to genuinely want unity for the country -- welcome. We do to. I hope some day to once again have Republicans and Democrats see each other as people with different philosophies, both with a valid point of view, both with the same goals. This seeing members of the opposing party as mortal enemies is very divisive and frankly heartbreaking. If you will actually listen to our President, rather than taking anyone else's word for what he's saying, you will see he is no divider.
The way I read him described by Fox and by divisive Republicans is so far from what he actually does and says it is horrifying. It is unrecognizable.
Enough rant for now.

01:26 - Jason Rechter (richter?) is riding on the bus (well, he is there when Sarah steps off the bus, and is handed Trig). He is said to be a political advisor to Palin (from the VP race?). He has said that it was Palin who lobbied for the bus tour, when the publisher had decided to do an air tour. I am surprised that he hasn't fallen under the bus for saying that. He is either bald or has shaved his head -- you can't miss him.

I want you to read very carefully.

We just lived through eight horrible years of George W Bush. I had hoped when he was elected that he would have advisers who would keep him from being too horrible. I went to church and prayed every Sunday that God would give him wisdom, or at least wise advisers.

Bush left us with 2 wars. He left us with huge media monopolies (no enforcement of antitrust laws). He left us with gutted infrastructure. He left us with enormous debts. He didn't even count the war debt. He left us with Rovian politics. He left us with no banking oversight, no rules for industry, crumbling financial system, collapsed economy, a weakened constitution. It was on his watch that the worst attack on American soil ever occurred, and he had warning and simply refused to read it. I could go on, but in short, he was a worse disaster than I ever could have imagined.

I have 3 children and 5 nieces and nephews. I'm sure you have young family you love, too. I want to leave a beautiful, strong country for them -- those I love, and those you love.

Why do I dislike Sarah Palin? She is George W Bush in a dress and an up-do.

I will do everything in my power and within the laws of this nation to prevent any George W Bush, male or female or alien, from ever having control of our -- your country and my country -- ever again.
Jealousy? I wish it were that shallow.

In a sense, Palin's supporters are George Bush's die-hard dead-enders. Their numbers are close, but not up to, his last approval ratings, which were almost 30%.

Wouldn't her having a political aide along for the tour imply that this is just that, a political exercise? What about the Harper Collins people? Are they in the political business as well (RM, I know)? I don't understand why the MSM doesn't at least acknowledge that she has political staff with her on this tour. What is his official job description? Personal Assistant? He was the logistical guy for GW Bush. Shouldn't Harper Collins be handling logistics directly? Maybe clarifying the obvious isn't considered top priority for the MSM, but then again, they keep just calling it a book tour. This ain't your mother's book tour, people. I guess the SarahPAC ads on the bus gave it away :-). Has anyone noticed if the MSM reporting makes mention of that detail, ever? Time for a new poll to see if this thing is making any headway for her. Doubt it.

Anonymous said...

Jason Recher was not only a Bush man, but also a McCain staffer that accompanied her during the VP campaign.

Anonymous said...

So he was her aide starting with the VP run? Who assigned him to her? The McCain people? And if he was viewed as helping her be a pain in the ass for them, and now he continues to work with her, is he out on a limb with his own party? Or have they set this whole thing up to see how she does? This is the kind of thing I am interested in. Who is backing her, at this moment?

Anonymous said...

ltl @ 01:47, that was beautifully stated and I agree 100%.

Anonymous said...

Rupert Murdoch is obviously backing her. His News Corp owns Harper Collins. Some say that he doesn't care if a pol's book makes money. A book deal is a way of slipping the pol some money, without the nuisance of campaign reporting laws, not to mention acquiring some influence over the pol.

This book tour is very expensive. An air tour by charter is rare. But the cost is insignifigant compared to the priceless influence it can buy, even if the book never sold a single copy and the advance was lost.

Anonymous said...

I suppose he could be working for her on his own, as a private citizen, so to speak. All the Bush staff were out of jobs when the Administration closed up shop. But then who is paying him? Sarah? Harper Collins? Maybe he's one of her volunteers.

I just can't believe Rupert Murdoch, at this point in time, believes he is going to make his investment back by successfully getting her to the White House. Maybe at first he thought that, but not now. Too much bad press. And it's not going to end any time soon. He will have to write this one off. This was one crap shoot he didn't win. I am not even certain she, or Rupert, can leverage her influence over the evangelicals w/the GOP come 2010 or 2012.

I just have a lot of admiration for her. And I think she brings a judgment and a common sense to this that is just terrific."

According to the Anchorage Daily News Sarah Palin made a public announcement her fifth pregnancy at 7 months. March 6, 2008.
Secret's out: Palin pregnant (03/06/08)
SEVEN MONTHS ALONG: Even her staff was unaware that the first family was expecting a fifth child.

I don't know the first version of when she told Todd, children and family or the Going Rogue version.

Later, at an appearance with Cindy McCain before the Louisiana delegation, Laura Bush again noted that the last time she saw Palin the governor was pregnant with her fifth baby.
**
She says she was pregnant, not SHE LOOKED pregnant. Laura Bush was saying this after the fact and could indeed to part of the DECEPTION!!! Note this was after talking to Cindy McCain. They had all the reason to promote the DECEPTION of Sarah being the "superwoman"!
Unless there is a actual interview with Laura at that time, this is just proof that not only The McCains were involved but also the highest ranking Gov. Official's wife in the US was also involved!
This REALLY NEEDS to BE EXPOSED now since she is obviously campaigning now!
02 December 2009 20:28

Is there an actual interview with Laura at that time?
Laura does not say Palin told her in Feb 2008 or when or how Laura learned about Sarah s alleged pregnancy. Look at the group photo and no one would say Sarah was pregnant by her looks in Feb 2008. Did Sarah confide in Laura Bush at a busy luncheon weeks before announcing to her constituents?

Fraud is a crime and this is why a grand jury or indictments are necessary. People like Laura Bush and Cindy McCain could explain what they were told, by whom and when.

@2:20, did these outlets mention the SarahPAC thing? People need to be clear about this issue. She is supposedly an author on a book tour. Many writers do booksigning tours, obviously. Did the outlets call attention to the fact that this is not a typical book tour, but more like a campaign trip of some kind? I don't think so. They were willing to tell the public that Sarah is traveling on a plane and not exclusively on a bus, but I am not sure they focused on the campaign qualities of the trip. Except Cokie, of course, while not realizing that by saying "it's what all politicos do" or whatever she said, she was sort of shining a light on the discrepancy. In other words, Sarah Palin needs to be asked if this is a political trip as much as a book tour. And she needs to give an honest answer, not that I'd hold my breath for it!

Excellent work as always, Patrick. These are fine examples, along with others like the March 14 photo, that show Palin was not pregnant.

In the end, the proof of the hoax is that there are so many things that don't add up -- the photos, the disbelief of her colleagues when she said she was 7 months pregnant, the scrubbed photos, the many discrepancies in the stories regarding Bristol's disappearance from school and her move to live with Aunt Heather in Anchorage, the Triggy Bear photos with Mercede and Levi, the lack of a birth certificate or medical records, the many problems with the doctor's letter, the preposterous wild ride tale, and the changes in the birth story each time she tells it (just for starters). When one or two things don't add up, it may cause you to raise an eyebrow, but when this many things don't add up, it's a hoax.

On another note, I also would like to highlight (for those poor souls who still believe in Sarah) that Sarah says she prayed to God that the baby would be okay, yet also claims she had had two prior miscarriages and that she knew Trig had DS and a hole in his heart and of course he would be 5 weeks premature and she was leaking amniotic fluid and having contractions that weren't like the Braxton-Hicks ones -- but as she tells the story, even knowing all this, she didn't go to the well-equipped hospital near her hotel. She had 8 hours before her speech to be checked out, but didn't bother. Why not? Was her speech more important than her baby's well-being? That is the only plausible reason, unless of course she wasn't pregnant and thus needn't worry. Then she claims to have given the speech while having contractions, contradicting her earlier account that the contractions had died down. Then there's the leaking amniotic fluid; how utterly messy that would be! Honestly, is there a single woman alive who has given birth who believes this BS? Sarah is makin' stuff up to make a clever and folksy story that sounds all tough and cool and is a pile of pure, 100% certified BS.
Of course, if it were true, some one should ask her (Oprah, Barbara, where were you when we needed you?) whether Sarah figured praying for Trig was enough to absolve her from any need to act responsibly toward the unborn child who was so precious to her. After all, apparently saying a prayer is good enough -- why be concerned about the well-being of a premature, DS baby with a hole in his heart, and the possiblity of infection or umbilical cord prolapse, after having had two miscarriages (purportedly), when you can just pray and act irresponsibly and everything will be fine? The only remotely plausible reason for this behavior (apart from total insanity) is that she was not pregnant.

The reality is that she didn't even need to pray for everything to be fine, because she knew the baby was back in AK, awaiting Mommie Dearest's midnight ride to Mat-Su for his delivery to her.

I'm assuming that Jason Recher is actually employed by SarahPAC, but yes, he is her closest aide on this trip and glued to her hip. And that does indeed appear to be Tina Andreadis as part of the entourage and assisting with the book signings - so yes, the HC VP is opening books and sliding them in front of Mrs. Palin :)

Really, we need a post on why there is a political campaign operative on a book not-quite-a-bus tour.
Is it a book tour or a political tour?
Is she doing this to circumvent campaign finance laws?
If it's a political tour, she needs to disclose proceeds as campaign funds.
If it is a book tour, why are political operatives on it?
Even I don't believe the Republicans lost so badly that they've had to get jobs babysitting for Sarah Palin.

Patrick -- what do you say?

It doesn't make sense, unless she's whatever religion it is (Seventh Day Adventist?) that believes seeking a doctor's advise is futile. From what we know, she's not of that persuasion; otherwise, she wouldn't have sought a doctor's help with her first "miscarriage," and wouldn't have seen the "geneticist" under her maiden name (or was it her mother's maiden name? It is probably very important to tell any newcomers that right around the period just before - but mostly after - Sarah Palin was announced as VP, a bunch of internet material got scrubbed. Tons. It was scary, I remember things disappearing as soon as we discovered them. I know some folks like the team here saved screenshots or whatever else that process is (something to do with the cache?). But, it was obvious that the McCain people had gotten to a lot of stuff first. Maybe this is common knowledge, I don't know. If anyone can do a quick rundown of things that were there, but then gone - or even the sites affected - it might ring some bells. For the MSM, I mean :-).

Also, too, in that transcript, Chuck Heath says he gave Sarah discipline and Sally gave her religion; however, in a French video, right here at palingates, he says that he gave her discipline and Sally gave her love. AP reporting that Sarah has some demands at her visit at Mall of America: Part of it here:

"She's no longer the chief executive of Alaska, but Sarah Palin should still be called "governor." And in English only, please.

That was the message sent out by officials at the Mall of America this week, who told reporters planning to cover the Minneapolis-area stop on Palin's "Going Rogue" book tour they must address the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate by her former title. The guidelines also banned foreign reporters, allowing "only English speaking press."

Mall officials said the guidelines were a mistake, and apologized Wednesday to Palin for the mix up, which they called "an internal miscommunication" that was "inadvertently distributed."

Palin has no firm political credentials due to her lack of ability to follow through and complete a task or job.

Her followers are blinded by their belief in the christian religion and somehow tie sarah together with their belief in the biblical fairy tale (guess those who buy into one fairy tale will buy into them all?)

She and her devoted followers have no curiosity thus no drive to read and actually learn facts. They are but a mobius strip of word salad and talking points born from each other.

The disenfranchised and uneducated needed a hero at this point in time in America and Palin fit the bill.

They are intimidated by intelligence and true success. Palin is the pablum that helps them to feel better about their lives. If she flies on a jet, we these folks get to live vicariously through her. That's their deal, she is one of them who got lucky without having to try very hard.

Just like winning the lottery, if it happened for Palin, it could happen for them one day too!

ArmchairJane said...

I'll bet that Andreadis has been ordered to check and make sure that nobody has written anything embarassing to the Queen on the page where the autographing is to be done, so that nobody can get away with making it look like Sarah has signed something she disagrees with. After all, Palin is so thin-skinned she can't take any criticism whatsoever, and for her to be confronted with a negative comment on the page would probably prompt a facebook rant.

She probably has Recher along because he proved by his disloyalty to McCain's campaign as he helped her "go rogue" that he was her kind of guy. She likes proven sychophants. Talk about a prima donna - I had heard before about her not wanting to share a stage with or shake hands with particular elected Republicans hosting campaign stops if said Republican did not meet her "purity standards", but had not known that she snubbed Curt Schilling's wife.

Recher is perfect for her. His emails show that he's willing to buy her b.s. and defend it. It's laughable that she needed a little down time each day so she could effectively govern Alaska. She couldn't govern effectively when she was theoretically on the job full time, so I don't know how an hour by Blackberry was going to get the job done. If she had any concern for the governance of Alaska she would have turned her duties over to Parnell while she was on the trail. But she's never really been about service. She's all about the benjamins.

OK, MSM, this is your mission: find out if Sarah Palin is breaking any campaign finance rules by raising money in this way. Is there a potential conflict of interest here? I would assume until taxes are filed or whatever, it may be unclear. For ex, if they attribute expenses which they incur to the book tour exclusively, rather than showing them as coming from the campaign revenue-raising efforts, well, mightn't that be iffy? (Someone is paying for this, Harper Collins officially...but they are not underwriting campaign activities, correct?) I am not a tax person, so I don't know, I just wonder if there is a possibility for financial misrepresentation of some kind. And I surely don't know the campaign finance laws, so someone would have to look into it. I would assume that political campaign financial declarations must be filed, right? How often, once a season? And what are the rules for PAC's? She may just need to bring in the painter to get rid of that bit of her traveling billboard, but that's good enough for me. If she's doing something that not "all politicos do", then it needs to be examined. I would think they might have looked into this prior to decorating that bus, wouldn't you? I realize this may yet again fall under "ethics violations" instead of actual law breaking, but the MSM is obligated to follow up on this kind of thing with a former Governor and possible Presidential candidate, dontcha think?

Pictures don't lie, and that's why none of the trolls on this board address the pictures.

We're not talking about Palin's vagina. We're talking about how Palin either faked her pregnancy with Trig or lied about his birth story. She then used this baby with Down's syndrome as a prop in the campaign and now her book tour to prove her pro-life beliefs. By using Trig this way, she makes valid all the questions about whether her Trig birth story is true.

All Palin has to do is show the birth certificate and all these questions will go away. (If birthers can demand Obama's birth certificate, why can't we?)

But incredibly, instead of showing a birth certificate, Palin chose last year to out her pregnant teenage daughter in the middle of a heated presidential campaign. Now that's a caring mother.

I heard an interview with psycologist Drew Weston today on the radio, he has a book called "the Political Brain".

He had some very interesting things to say about SP, the people like her & the people who follow her. (the book is not about her. Sorry SP, not everything is all about you)

Some key things he mentioned were xenophobia & the IQ of these people. Very interesting, I wish I had the transcripts, it was very telling. I am sure any follower of PG can guess why he mentioned these two items.

There have been huge advances in neuroscience in the last couple of years. For example they can scan a brain & see things like ADD & depression.

In the same vein, I heard another story last week about some one comparing the brain scans of progressives vs. conservatives. Can you guess the results of the brain activity in the scans of these two groups?

The way we behave & what we belive is largely based on our brain health. Someday there may be a pill for the disease "palingoria".

(that's only if you belive in "science")

Cheers!

Shamelessly cribbed from Bree's blog, a letter from a Presbyterian minister to College of The Ozarks:

Dear Ms. Andrews,

If you would be so kind as to forward this to your president.

As a Presbyterian Pastor who served in Tulsa for 12 years at a church long supportive of the College, and sharing with Sam and Helen Walton at numerous luncheons in the Tulsa area, I have admired deeply the character of the school and its unique commitment to providing a quality education for students who might otherwise be unable to attend college because of financial constraints.

Yet, I was shocked when I read of the decision to have Sarah Palin as a college guest to address matters of character and morals.

There are dozens and dozens of ably qualified speakers from all sorts of religious and political persuasions who might address such matters with skill and experience, but to suggest that Ms. Palin is qualified is a matter for Saturday Night Live.

That she's a lightening rod for the far right-wing is undeniable, but as a speaker on these matters? Hardly.

I'm disappointed in the decision to invite Ms. Palin, though I'm sure there are monied interests behind this, and knowing the tough role of a college President these days, I'm sure there are some interesting guns being held to your head on this one.

I sympathize with your position, and I suspect you'd have rather chosen any number of other far-better qualified people.

Wishing you the best ... and to honor the heart of the founder of the school, you might well invite a missionary, a pastor or a professor of ethics to address matters of morals and character ... I would suggest historian Diana Butler Bass as an able and knowledgeable speaker for the college, or the Rev. Dr. Michael Lindvall, pastor of Brick Presbyterian Church, New York City, a most excellent preacher and a teller of stories.

Blessings on your work and that of the college.

Covenant Presbyterian Church

My mother neglected and abused me and my sisters because anytime she was unhappy she blamed us. She often used religion as a weapon against us, but the outside world saw her as a wonderful Christian mother. SP and her followers (which include my mother) terrify me.

The more SP is attacked, the more likely she and her followers will take it as a sign from God that she is on the right path. The negative press? That's Satan's hand at work! In a perverse way, attacking people like SP can buoy them up because "attacks from Satan" make them feel more special, more like Jesus, and singled out by God for greatness, especially if those around them are supporting their delusions.

Keep up the great work, everyone. The sooner SP is exposed to the world for the fraud and hypocrite she is, the better.

Why does HC have zero accountability? The MSM is blindly complicit with the child abuse. If a poor parent was seen under dressing a toddler they could end up arrested. Palin is the worst example. It is unjust to only violate poor parents. Palin dazzles everyone and no one has time to help her children. Sad. The discussion of Trig's welfare, combined with discussion of how narcissistic Wite-out Sarah is, just reminded me of yet another instance of lack of concern for Trig's welfare, and Sarah's characteristic response: get angry at the person who reported the problem.

Those who followed Sarah's career back in Alaska will remember this one. I am quoting from the June 17, 2009 blog post here on Palingates about car safety seats:

[start quote]
" An inquiry from Monegan to the governor about whether she once failed to put her Trig, her infant, in a car seat while she was driving.

On the car seat, Monegan sent an e-mail to the governor on June 30, 12 days before he lost his job, that said: "Via a soon-to-be-retiring legislator, we received a complaint that had you driving with Trig not in an approved car seat; if this is so that would be awkward in many ways."

The governor fired back from her private e-mail account: "I've never driven Trig anywhere without a new, approved car seat. I want to know who said otherwise -- pls provide me that info now." (please note the menacing, demanding tone)

Todd Palin, in his sworn statement, said this was a "false rumor," and that the governor was a passenger in a truck, "on a private farm road without traffic at low speed." (with Trig on her lap)"

[end quote]

This is the reason for laws preventing whistleblowers from harassment: Palin merely received a comment from Alaska's "top cop" that was essentially a "heads up" that at least one complaint had been made that Sarah was driving without Trig properly restrained. Her reaction: "WHO SAID THAT"? And now that I am more aware of her parsing, I note that she said "I've never driven Trig anywhere without a new, approved car seat", but she didn't say he was always IN the seat...

Mall of America is falling all over itself to say that it's all their fault about the no-foreigners press rules. But Tina Andreadis, a Harcourt Collins VP, said, "That should never have been in any kind of press release. That's not the message the governor wants to send out." She did not say that "the governor" didn't ask the Mall of America to implement those rules.

Armchair Jane @5:55 Great post! I watched an interview early during the campaign and the interviewer asked SPalin something that had been said and her first words was similar, WHO SAID THAT. I think she even asked twice. Guess she wanted the name so that she could write it down in her journal. Oh, and Tood's affidavit he submitted in the troopergate case was very revealing to me.

I just have to give a big shout-out and hoorah for Tracy! I know you must be reading and commenting here, Tracy, and I want to thank you for telling the reporter straight and upfront that Trig is not Palin's biological son and that Bristol is his mother. If I should ever have that golden opportunity, you can be sure I will state the FACT that Sarah FAKED the pregnancy and Trig is her first grandson.

Just had a funny thought on the "make sure everyone calls her governor" demand. It would be pretty funny if that silly demand for a title she no longer holds were made because of Patrick's post and others in comments voicing annoyance over it the other day when she's in actuality a half term quitter governor, and Parnell is the actual governor. If it were anyone else, it would seem far fetched, but given her penchant for leaving no slight unavenged, I can see her being driven to do so.
It will be seriously funny if that is the case, as she's slapped at the foreign press in the same voice (yeah, I'm sure the foreign press was planning to send reporters to Mo to cover Sarah's event at the mall) and made herself look ridiculously demanding, vain and filled with delusions of grandeur (not to mention hypocritical, since she declared she didn't need titles, back when she was Simple Sarah Quitting for NoGoodReason). Her slap at the press will catch its attention, and this will backfire hard on her.

Tina Andreadis is a publicist with Harper Collins. All authors are assigned one by the publisher--I have one myself, not Tina--although publicists don't usually go along on book tours unless you're someone like Nora Roberts. This tour is requiring enormous coordination, and that's Tina's job. Given that Tina is fairly liberal, she must be having a horrid time. I imagine she'll have some stories to tell at the end of this!

As for what her helpers at the table are doing, they aren't checking the books, they're opening them to the right page for her to sign. It's pretty standard if you're signing a lot of books in a hurry, like when an author is signing stock. And that's the way Sarah is signing, in a rush with no personalization.

One weird thing: Tina came out yesterday and said Palin's book had "gone platinum," i.e., it sold a million copies. Now, I've been an author for twenty years, I know several NYT bestselling authors who sell over a million copies of their books and I've never heard that music industry term applied to a book before.

Anonymous said...

midnightcajun, Tina Andreadis is more than a publicist. She is a VP. Check google, see it on an HC blog. She may be playing the role of a "publicist" at the store, but she is a VP.

I'd like to know if it's even the same BUS being used at each stop on her book tour. Has anybody compared license plates, or seen this bus out on the interstate?

It would be easy to use multiple buses: Those giant ads are printed on fabric, which is stretched over the entire bus (IOW, it's not paint).

Now that we know she's flying from one place to another and staying in hotels, why is she even using a bus?

OBVIOUSLY, she tried to create the illusion that she was travelin' around the country by BUS with her family... and she GOT CAUGHT.

Too bad she can't get caught FAKING other things, too!!

midnightcajun,
I've never heard that either. Even Steven King has never "gone platinum."
Maybe my post just above is wrong. Maybe she really wants to be called "governor" because her ego demands it, and it wasn't that Patrick called attention to it (man, given a choice, making a petty dig at a blogger is better than having such delusions of grandeur). Maybe this is one of her demands, like the one to call her "governor," and it's designed only to pump up her ego.
Very weird.

Just out of curiosity, is the VP of the publishing company usually the one opening the books at the signing table?

Midnight Cajun,
One more thing -- on one of the videos of news coverage of her tour, the ads by google on the crawl were advertising a copy of Sarah's book "free!" with a subscription to some magazine or other.
Some of those million copies weren't purchased by individuals desiring to read her words of wisdom as told by Lynn Vincent.

Good night. Get some sleep, Sarah, you've got to keep signing those books.

Jesse,

What do you want to hear from us?

Palin is an epic fail regarding policy issues pertaining to both her state and her nation. She may have gotten a D in college, but she has gotten an F in public administration.

She looked not pregnant and then mysteriously pregnant, after admitting that she hid her gravidness from even her closest associates and family.

She quit multiple jobs in Alaska, the most important being the Governorship of our State.

Her autobiography has been fact checked and proven to include fictional accounts of actual events.

There are so many mysterious circumstances surrounding her life that thinking people are completely flummoxed by her continuing popularity.

Thinking people have put two and two together and reached a decision that Sarah Palin is either delusional and/or a liar.

Upon reaching that decision, based upon so many fabrications thrust upon us, we thinking people can no longer believe a single thing that she has to say.

Her supporters, by association, also are seen as somewhat intellectually compromised.

Trig is not attired for winter weather, he only wears shoes and a jacket in warm Florida. The HC VP worries for a blank page in a book. Why is the toddler there? If it is as a prop, he should be paid. No one in the family knows how to care for a child. He should be at home with Bristol. These are the sickest people on the Gulfstream/bus tour. Including Tina Andreadis, VP, Director of HC.

For starters, I would like you to answer a few questions I posited, which I will restate here.

Is there a single doctor who will go on the record and conclusively say from the photographs provided on this site that Sarah Palin was not pregnant with Trig?

Second, are there any experts on documents that can prove the CBJ letter was forged?

That's all I'm asking. I'll even engage in a little give and take and answer any questions you want.

You can dodge all you want, but I'll keep asking these same questions until I get an answer.

Well I can tell ya this much Jesse.. There sure as HELL isn't an MD anywhere that would look at those pics and "conclusively state" she was pregnant. Please show us one. We have statements from 9 gynecologists (8 from Andrew Sullivan and 1 ADN interviewed) that have conclusively stated that if the wild ride DID occur it was irresponsible, reckless and could easily have endangered the baby. That's a FACT. Find me ONE OB/GYN to dispute that. I will keep asking until you do. We have that FACT on record by multiple MD's.

Second, can you find me an document expert that will prove that letter was NOT forged? I'm waiting. Put up or shut up. The preponderance of the evidence is heavily in our favor

Jesse,
I have a feeling that the pregnancy thing is one of those "only her hairdresser knows for sure" moments.

Don't know about the CBJ forgery, don't really care. The baby thing is the least nappy of all of the wools that she has pulled over the eyes of the Alaskan and American public.

I actually don't care whether Palin birthed the mentally compromised baby herself or not. She's stuck with the child now, and I hope the she makes the best of it. Seems like his best interests are not in her heart, but who knows.

All I'm saying is there is so much more that makes her completely unsuitable for higher office.

I hope those issues, which are now being discussed in the media, will be the ones that make the majority of the people realize that she is unsuitable for any elected office.

That's all I care about. Keeping her away from any position of responsibility within my state or country. She can "write" all the books she wants and do tv shows and make a bunch of money.

I just personally never want to see her in a position of power again because she doesn't have the moxie to lead our town of 8,000, or our state of 600,000, much less our nation of 304,000,000.

Don't care about her vagina, nor her spawn nor her tawdry tabloid history with her husband and possible philandering on both of their parts. Don't care where Trig came from, nor Tripp, or Track or Piper or Willow or Bristol.

I just want to know that Sarah Palin will never be in a position to even GET CLOSE to leading our country.

I am sure we can all agree that it is time for the matter of fraud regarding Sarah Palin and Trig to be taken up with the law. Regardless of our opinions or belief. Fraud is a serious crime. You do not need to prove everything before the grand jury looks at it.

How do you get past the corrupt system in Alaska and bring up the criminal case? Are Federal charges feasible when a governor commits fraud in their own state? It is not possible to know the extent of the crimes until an investigation. The MSM will do more once it is in the courts.

Names of the medical doctors involved, please?

You state it as a fact that a medical doctor would look at those photographs and say she wasn't pregnant, but then again, I don't need to undergo such a task, as I am not using the photographs to prove anything. I have an eyewitness in CBJ, who is a doctor herself, and would have first-hand knowledge of Sarah Palin's pregnancy that far surpasses any photograph. So, there is your MD testimony.

However, you answered my question. You have no doctor that can back up the analysis of the photos presented here at this blog.

Now I will branch onto another topic: Why don't you try to combat Sarah Palin on substantive issues instead of trying to associate yourself with Trig Truthers? There are lots of people who despise Sarah Palin but think that Trig Trutherism is nothing more than a conspiracy theory.

When the time comes when Sarah Palin tries to run for the Presidency of the United States, do you think Trig Trutherism is going to gain traction amongst her primary opponents? They will not touch it for fear of the repercussions. It's the same reason the media won't touch it.

I won't try to change your mind. I think you are quite capable of making your own decisions. But for once, I think I have gained an insight to how some of the people around here might think.

Is it true that when a publisher states that a book has sold a million, it means that stores have ordered a million. NOT that customers have bought a million copies? I read once that after a few months, the stores will return the unsold copies back to the publisher. ( the story I read gave the example that a store like Costco will buy thousands of copies of a book, but will return more than 50-75 percent of what they ordered)

Think of all of the poor trees slaughtered in her name. Books destined to ended up returned to the publisher.

What a shame!

Re Jesse Cornish's insist questioning that someone prove that Cathy Baldwin-Johnson's letter is forgery. Well I entertain the notion that it is not a forgery and that that the good doctor is all in on the hoax. If true, I am sure she has justified it to herself in some way (maybe she is one of Sarah's co-religionists and thought the letter would help usher in the rapture - you see, it was for the greater glory of God). I find the good doctor's role in this most curious. Wonder if there will be professional consequences if it turns out she was in on a hoax. She wrote the letter on letterhead of a corporate entity. Wonder if that entity did any due diligence before allowing her to release a statement on their letterhead?

RNP in CA said...

Re: Anon at 08:49 - as I see it, there are three possibilities with CBJ's letter.

1. She wrote it, deliberately misrepresenting Palin's medical history. The letter states that Palin had no health issues in her fifth pregnancy except her age. That cannot be true if Palin previously had two miscarriages, which Palin claims in "Going Rogue."

2. She didn't write it but approved its release (at 10:30 on election eve) because, since it carried an electronic signature (see http://www.latimes.com/media/acrobat/2008-11/43179602.pdf), she could, if necessary, deny having written it.

3. The McCain campaign released it without her consent.

In any case, CBJ has a lawyer present when it comes to any questions about Palin's pregnancy. Why would she need to do that? Can any of you imagine your doctor requiring a lawyer when asked about the birth of any of your kids?

ArmchairJane said...

Regarding the CBJ letter, if you have ever moved to a new town and gotten a new doctor, or even just changed doctors in the same town, they will have you fill out some kind of detailed new patient intake form where they ask all kinds of details about your health. If they can get copies of your old chart or especially important test results or x-rays or reports from specialists they will ask for those to be sent.

However, much of a patient's history is self-reported. If it is just routine stuff often they will take it at face value and the intake form will note the patient supplied the information. Later on, the items of patient-supplied info are often included in lists of diagnoses etc and not necessarily noted as being reported by the patient.

In practical terms this means that the very brief, but strangely Trig-centric "Dr.CBJ letter" about Sarah's health may be a mix of things that CBJ knows first hand, and other things that were reported by Sarah. And with the way the letter is written, if it even WAS written by CBJ, we still have no way of knowing what parts were known first hand by CBJ, and what parts were supplied by Sarah with no backup documentation.

We have a lot of people who comment on this blog with health care backgrounds, and the same went for the Palin's Deception's blog by Audrey. There's a reason why women and health care professionals are some of the people most convinced that Palin's birth story and Trig pregnancy are a hoax, and that is because they know a lot more about these issues than lovestruck men who actually believe Palin's lies. The CBJ letter is just one of the MANY things that does not ring true.

RNP in CA said...

Armchair Jane -

"Strangely Trig-centric" is right. That's how it struck me too.

But wasn't Palin's supposed second miscarriage between Willow and Piper, when she was under the care of CBJ? That means that CBJ's letter does misrepresent an element of Palin's medical history that CBJ of which would have personal knowledge, since isn't previous miscarriage a risk factor?

I have wondered about CBJ's M.O. and there seem to be three possible scenarios.

1. CBJ did not intend to lie for Palin, but Palin threw her under the bus with the "wild ride" story, and she's been trying to be noncommittal and has waited for the other shoe to drop ever since.

2. Palin is blackmailing CBJ.

3. CBJ is risking her career by lying to protect a child.

I fear it might be #3.

So they aren't buying the CBJ letter and quittypants "word" that she gave birth either, even though they are essentially a state run newspaper at this point. The Sarah administration keeps them in business, (which she has repeatedly made VERY clear to them) yet they won't back her on this whopper. I posted a portion of these two emails last week in a naïve effort to explain that the newspaper never took seriously the conspiracy theory that the governor did not give birth to her son Trig, but that recently we had made an effort to document his birth in pursuit of a story about why the Trig rumors, while baseless, are apparently so widespread and persistent.

This is the pertinenet portion Pat Dougherty's remarks-he says Trig Trutherism has no basis in fact (pay attention to the part I put in bold).

I also find it interesting that the goal posts keep moving. First it was a forged doctor's letter, now she is in on the conspiracy.

Audrey had to stop posting, because there were death threats being made against her and her family!
Same happened with Morgan's blog. When she got too close, they turned up the heat on her and her family by stalking her.

Palin did not give birth to Trig "until proven otherwise."

According to the article you just quoted in ADN there has been NO "clear, contemporaneous public record of what transpired with Trig's birth."

So prove she gave birth. ADN can't. There's no clear record of it, so with your way of thinking it simply didn't happen. That's what we've been trying to tell you. It didn't happen son. Get used to it

The Trig birth mystery is still very much alive and well...
"Everything" related to this little boy's coming into this world is convoluted and bizarre. That cannot be explained away.
So far NOONE has put forth any sort of article/posting on why this "rumor" is false.
Why? Because it is full of holes that cannot be explained.
The photos of Palin looking more like she feasted on too many ding dongs rather than carrying a baby in her belly (flat and flabby looking NOT a prego belly) is even more reason to not let this go.

The kicker in the bucket is all her other "gates"...
Everything this woman is involved with turns very sticky and "Weird"...

She has long since lost her credibility. Even to this day.. the fancy "glamour shot" private jet/book tour just reflects her true character.

"OHHH" Phooey, she says. I am just trying to shake every American hand I can.. I love America.. see Trig? I carry him.. I must love him. I love my family. My husband is "fixing the roof" so he wont be with us Thanksgiving. Heck! we are eating Gas Station Sub Sandwiches on Tday instead! I had to leave those waiting to see me cross the finish line at the Turkey Trot because I had to hurry up and get on with Thanksgiving.. to eat Sub sandwiches while my husband "fixed the roof" ... Oh, never mind I made a big ta do ha about running in that race so EVERYONE would come out and see me .. spend their Thanksgiving waiting in the cold to catch a photo of me crossing the finish line. Well, see I didn't run at all actually. But I did push my son in the stroller! and like I said.. I had to leave early because we had to get on with Thanksgiving.. well eating Subs

She is a nutcase no matter how you bend it... read her "gates", look at how she has grasped the whole Hollywood look (designer everything, fake teeth/hair/tan)...
This woman is all about fame and money.. and a fake "image"

To further defend her and ignore all this just goes to show someone has a little crush... which is even sicker.

The nature of her fans makes me even more creeped out by her. NOONE that supports this lady makes any sense...they are angry, bitter and just weird.

"You will know them by their fruit"

Her fruit is freaky!

and why doesn't this God fearin' woman every say JESUS??? huh????

Ignore Jesse - he is trying to distract the conversation.

Now this is very, very interesting - I'm moving the emphasis back to politics in this discussion

"Jason Recher, who served as special assistant to President Bush and as a traveling aide to Palin during the campaign, said the former President was well aware of Palin — especially since the two met in person in Alaska just three weeks before Palin was added to the Republican ticket.

During a stopover in Fairbanks on the way to the Beijing Olympics last August, Recher said Bush met with Palin and even made a knowing reference to her rising reputation in the Republican Party.

"The president was fully aware of who Sarah Palin was," Recher told CNN. "Even so much that when he greeted the governor and Todd in Fairbanks during a re-fueling stop on the way to the Beijing Olympics, he threw open his arms and said "Madam Vice President!'"

"He was very aware of her rising-star status and who she was and everything about her, even down to the fact that she recently had given birth to Trig," Recher said."

Anonymous said...

Is it usual for a publishing company to pay for transport which advertises a political organisation ie Sarahpac?

Is it usual for a publishing organisation to allow an employee of a political pac to accompany an author on a book signing tour? I assume that Jason Recher is travelling on the plane paid for by Harper Collins.

I think that these are some interesting questions which require answers.

I wouldn't write off Todd yet. I mean, maybe the marriage is over, but he is still in the charade. It is in his best interests to play along; can you imagine the fallout if he up and divorces her before a certain amount of time elapses? No, he will wait it out--Lord knows he deserves some of the gravy for putting up with that woman.

Now: Why I think you're not seeing him is that he is back in AK pulling some strings behind the scenes, perhaps working on that fake birth certificate for Trig that I'm sure we'll be seeing soon. Or strong-arming or bribing certain individuals up in AK who could spill the beans on them. Perhaps reminding the Johnstons of any unpleasant repercussions that could happen to Sherry if they don't go along. Or fudging the books, or covering up their many, many financially suspect dealings. Or purging the e-mails that are on the verge of being released publicly. You see, there are many, many tasks on Todd's "Honey Do" list in addition to "fixing the roof." He may not want to do these chores, but he's in up to his neck. I think that in this whole sordid tale, Todd is a prominent player, and he will have to answer for that as well as Sarah. THAT'S why Todd is not on the "book" tour. He's got a few messes to "clean up" back home.

I don't think that Sarah believes in Jesus Christ. She couldn't because none of her actions are Christ-like. But you are definitely right, she never mentions Jesus - always referencing God. Sarah is a fraud.

"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist." (John 7:24 ESV)

"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

Based on Sarah's book of revenge do you actually think she is praying for those she considers her enemies? I don't think so.

To the Editor:

I would like to respond to Charles S. Lewis’ letter (Nov. 28) that states why he thinks liberals hate Sarah Palin.

I don’t dislike Sarah Palin for her political opinions as much as because I view her as someone who is unqualified to have her opinions carry the weight that they do.

To answer Lewis’ charges:

She is a conservative. So what? They lost.

She is an intelligent, down-to-earth person and independent thinker. She may be intelligent, but she has never allowed anyone to see that.

She married the father of her children. Sarcasm and red herrings only weaken your case for support.

She bore her husband’s name. She bore five children. See above.

She made the “choice” to knowingly carry a Down Syndrome child to term and raise him in her own loving home. I’m glad she felt she had the “choice.” She doesn’t seem willing to afford anyone else that same “choice.”

She ascended to the governorship of Alaska and the nomination for vice president. Bravo! She served about half of a term as governor: a half-term filled with scandals, ineffectual leadership and an abrupt departure.

I have a problem with Palin not because of her politics, but because people continuously attack those who don’t want the homecoming queen to be class president. She should be an integral part of the parade; I just don’t think she should be organizing it. Or that she can.

Homecoming Queen Shouldn't be President
