Sarah and Todd Palin, Jeremy Morlock's family, and more secrets from Wasilla revealed

If one is looking for secrets, Wasilla might be one of the greatest places ever. We don't know all of them, of course. ;-) However, ever since we started to investigate Queen Sarah, the creature that came from Wasilla, we slowly started to get to know some of them. We received information from several sources over time, and we are incredibly careful when it comes to publishing it. Several things we have heard we have never published so far, because it was not substantiated enough to back it up. This rule still applies. There are still untold stories for us to reveal at some later point.

Recently a particularly well-informed person from the circle close to Palins came forward. We know of course the identity of the source, and the information we received was very detailed and absolutely credible. After an email exchange, I had a long phone conversation with this person, we also diligently checked the general personal background, and the time has come to let the world know what we were told.

In my little teaser in the comments earlier today I said that it will have a bit of everything. The main part of the events have to do with the Palins and the Morlocks, two families who are very close to each other. The children grew up and played together, they went to school with each other, they had sleepovers at each other's houses, the kids had Sarah Palin's cellphone number saved and some of the adults have known each other for more than 30 years. The association of the families is very, very tight.

If you think you recognize this name: I am talking about the family of Jeremy Morlock, the soldier from Wasilla who was recently arrested for being under suspicion of murder, while being on duty in Afghanistan.

When the news broke that Jeremy Morlock was arrested, John Cook, senior reporter with Yahoo News, already noticed that the "Soldier accused of murder in Afghanistan crossed paths with the Palin family."

Cook wrote:

Wasilla, as Palin frequently pointed out during the 2008 election campaign, is a very small community, so it's not surprising that the Palin family would have developed relationships, however incidental, with one of its residents. According to a 2009 People magazine profile of Bristol Palin, Jeremy Morlock's sister April is a friend of Bristol's and attended a "pizza and bingo party" at the Palin residence. And in 2005, Jeremy Morlock played in a high school hockey league with Palin's son Track, who himself served in the Army in Iraq. The two apparently attended different high schools.

This little insight set the heads of the Palinbots spinning, because they were upset that the "lamestream media" would construct such a connection between the two families.

But what was revealed at Yahoo News is only a small part of the whole story.

April Morlock's mother is Audrey Morlock. Audrey has a twin sister who is also called April.

April Morlock Jr. is one of Bristol Palin's closest friends, maybe even THE closest friend. They are of course also friends on Bristol's secret facebook account, which Bristol has opened under another name.

The relations of the Morlocks to the Palins go back a long way.

April Sr., the twin sister of Audrey Morlock, dated Todd from 5th to 9th grade in Dillingham.

So now we are beginning to build up a picture as to how long these families have been connected to each other.

Most of you have probably heard that Willow Palin was apparently involved in badly trashing and vandalizing a house in Wasilla along with other teenagers. We haven't written about this story so far, which was reported on several Alaskan blogs, because we didn't have concrete confirmation about the story.

However, recently we received confirmation from our source that this story was true.

The group of teenagers vandalized the house, which was empty at the time, very badly and caused extensive damage.

We were told that this house, which was about to be sold, was owned by the Morlock family.

April Morlock Jr. (Jeremy's sister) called Bristol Palin and confronted her with the fact she had heard that Willow was part of the group that trashed the house. Bristol then said she would check this, and shortly afterwards called April back and confirmed that fact that Willow was part of the group.

Audrey Morlock, April's mother, then visited Sarah and Todd and personally confronted them with these facts. While Sarah immediately rejected the idea that Willow could have been part of this group, Todd was more understanding and said that he would look into the situation. The exact outcome is not known to our source, but it's believed that insurance paid the damage.

However, there is another story which involves April Morlock, Jeremy's sister, which is also of great interest to us all

At some point in the past, April Morlock got in trouble with her mother Audrey. In order to defend herself, April blurted out:

"At least I am not pregnant like Bristol Palin."

According to our source, this was long before the Tripp pregnancy. Therefore April Morlock must have been referring to another pregnancy before Tripp.

I would like to stress again that we have at least two credible other inside sources which have confirmed that Bristol Palin was pregnant in 2007, and I am not even counting Michael Carey's source - the lawyer who said that the faked pregnancy was the "absolute truth".

One of these sources, and I have said this before, is a high ranking politician within the Republican Party in Alaska, whose name we know.

Bristol Palin was absent from public view from the beginning of October 2007 until the middle of February 2008, when she is mentioned as being involved in a car crash. She also didn't travel during this time, unlike Willow and Piper, which we know from the complete travel reports.

Sarah Palin, to repeat this again, faked her pregnancy with Trig. This is not a belief or an assumption. It's a true fact.

On another note: We already suspected long ago that Todd Palin is not the biological father of Track Palin.

Our highly reliable source, who is extremely close to the situation, confirmed that this is true. Sarah was already pregnant when she moved back to Wasilla in 1988 - but not from Todd. She then quickly "scooped" Todd, and they hurriedly married. According to our source, Todd knew at this point that Sarah was pregnant by somebody else.

Our source didn't even know that Palingates had written about this topic before, when we talked about it.

The biological father of Track CJ Palin is Curtis Menard Jr., who was officially his godfather. Curtis died in a plane crash in 2001. See here for details.

At this point I would also like to mention another fact: We recently wrote about the revelations of the National Enquirer from 2008, in which they reported that Brad Hanson had a sexual affair with Sarah Palin in the mid-1990's. The National Enquirer was very certain of their case and they even obtained a polygraph test and an affidavit as evidence.

We have information from two credible sources that Sarah Palin indeed had a sexual extramarital affair with Brad Hanson at this point, and one of the sources is a member of Brad Hanson's family, with whom I spoke on the phone.

I can imagine that it's upsetting for many of the participants in this endless "hide & seek" game which is going on regarding the secrets of Sarah Palin to see some of the details published. However, it's time for the great charade to come to an end, and for the Palins and others to come forward with the truth.

Phil Munger from Progressive Alaska send out a plea to Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, Sarah's (former?) doctor in a blog post from February 22, 2010:

"Palin has repeatedly claimed in the national media that she has presented for public scrutiny a birth certificate for Trig. That is not the case. I've observed a few times here that this seeming lie should be taken up by the so-called media. As yet, to my knowledge, it hasn't been.

Are people too jaded by Palin's lies to take this more seriously than the hundreds of others? If so, that is bizarre, because it is an important matter.

There are few people who could settle this. I don't trust Palin. I do trust Cathy, though, and can never thank her enough for helping save Alex.

Although she is under no legal or perhaps even moral obligation to share more about what she knows of the strange circumstances of Trig Palin's appearance on the scene, Cathy could single-handedly cut the Gordian knot on this, and free us from a somewhat suffocating entanglement."

Phil's request has not been answered. The "suffocating entanglement" still exists. Sarah and Todd Palin have to come clean.

This situation has been created by Sarah Palin's excessive political ambitions. Her severe mental problems apparently make it difficult for her to face the truth, and the longer this situation continues, the more suffocating it will be for the people in Alaska, America and at some point even for people in other parts of the world.

Alaska judge rules that Todd Palin could have acted as an advisor to the Governor Sarah Palin - it's "common sense!" - UPDATE!

News reaches us today that Andrée McLeod lost her appeal regarding the question whether emails of the Palin administration that Todd has received do not fall under "executive privilege" and should be disclosed.

It is my view that this judgement contains poor reasoning, and the judge strikes me as very biased. I don't usually wade in regarding the legal issues, but in this case, the judgement is so poor that I cannot hold back.

Let's have a look at some parts of the judgement.

For example:

I think this is a very good argument by Andrée, and why this "ignores reality and common sense" is not apparent to me, nor explained in any depth by the judge. Very convenient reasoning!

Let's also have a look at this passage:

The judge didn't even pick up on the acknowledged fact that government can indeed choose private citizens as consultants - but only based on their "undisputed experience and qualifications."

The judge himself acknowledges that an external consultant can be considered as an employee with the possible consequence of executive privilege if he advises the government in an area in which the "government lacks expertise."

But as we all know, Todd Palin, who has never finished College, has no experience whatsoever which could qualify him to give advice to a State government. He only has experience as a fisherman and oil production worker, and these are hardly areas in which the Alaskan government lacks expertise - with legions of qualified state employees working on these issues.

The whole reasoning of the judge comes down in the end to that supposed fact that it's "custom and the right of heads of state" to "rely upon her husband for advice", ignoring all the other factors which have been named. The judge doesn't even make a citation for this supposed "fact!" Case closed.

No, not entirely. The judge then takes aim for his final important reasoning:

"Absent any Alaska law to the contrary, common sense and Federal Law require finding that Todd Palin could properly have acted as an advisor to the Governor, thereby rendering the six emails at questions in this appeal subject to the deliberative process privilege."

Common Sense! Wow, that's a striking judicial argument! Where have we heard that before?

Federal Law! Why does it apply to Alaska in this case, even though the Alaska Legislature has not formally recognized the role of the Governor's spouse? Doesn't matter, it just applies! Probably also through "common sense."

The name of the judge also sounds familar. Where have we heard about judge Patrick McKay before?

Anchorage Superior Court Judge Patrick McKay has been charged with drunk driving.

An Anchorage police officer pulled over McKay's Toyota Camry Thursday at 9:30 p.m. for a traffic infraction on the outbound Glenn Highway, police said. When the officer made contact with him, McKay was found to be under the influence, according to police Lt. Dave Parker.

The officer put the 56-year-old judge under arrest and took him to the Anchorage Jail where he was later released on $500 bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 14.

McKay has been removed from handling criminal cases, his supervisor said Saturday.

We weren't the only ones who felt compelled to write about this judgement - Thomas Van Flein has also addressed this issue today, on Sarah's facebook!

Thomas and his cash cow Sarah are happy:

"In a well reasoned opinion, the judge explored state law, federal law (including an historical discussion on First Lady Sarah Polk, wife of President James K. Polk), and invoked a too rarely used legal principle – common sense – to throw out this lawsuit. In so doing, the court concluded that Todd Palin, as the First Gentleman, though unpaid, was in essence a privileged consultant to the Office of the Governor, and the court compared Todd Palin’s privileged consultations to First Lady Hillary Clinton, in which a federal court determined that the chief executive’s spouse “acts as the functional equivalent of an assistant to the President.” And, with state government employees assisting the first spouse, Todd Palin had a clear and obvious privileged consultative function and is analogous to a de facto state officer."

I should point out that Thomas Van Flein also specifically highlights the "common sense" remarks of the judge. This is Sarah Palin's "brave new common sense world" in action - no reasons necessary, it just "feels right" - "common sense!"

The federal judgement in question, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. v. Hillary Clinton, decided by the US Court of Appeals in 1999 can be found here.

At the end of his facebook post, Thomas Van Flein has a curious political message:

"There are, of course, some remaining issues to address. The attacks against Sarah Palin will continue. They are distractions meant to keep her off message. There will be times when Sarah Palin will have to take one for the team in order to continue on with her message to the country and simply resolve matters without having to incur crushing personal debt. That is the cost, unfortunately, of public life today. When that happens, read the details closely – like the details in this court opinion. Every time you do you will see that Sarah Palin has always acted with honest intent. You will see that again soon. Today’s ruling is a positive step not just for Sarah and Todd Palin, but for all female chief executives currently in office – and waiting to take office in November."

She has "always acted with honest intent?"

Well, Mr Van Flein - that remains to be seen! And your client Sarah Palin surely will be a joy for you and your law firm for many years to come.

UPDATE 2:

Sarah Palin and "common sense" - that apparently means that the law is interpreted JUST in the way which is beneficial for Queen Sarah.

As our reader BluedogAK pointed out, the only reason why the Petumenos report "overturned" the hard-hitting Branchflower report in the Troopergate affair was that Sarah Palin was not held liable for the potentially incriminating actions of Todd Palin - because he was acting as a private citizen, as the Petumenos report stated over and over again!

In addition, it is repeatedly mentioned in the Petumenos report that Sarah Palin had no knowledge of Todd's actions!

But now Thomas Van Flein claims in the facebook post that Todd Palin had in fact

"a clear and obvious privileged consultative function and is analogous to a de facto state officer."

How can this be reconciled with each other?

Another update, and this time it's a particularly pleasant one!

Geoffrey Dunn just published great news on Huffington Post!

"It doesn't sound like good news for the Thrilla from Wasilla to me. Van Flein and Palin have obviously been warned that another legal storm is on the horizon.

And what might that be? Sources of mine in both Anchorage and Juneau involved with Alaska's Department of Law and the Alaska Public Offices Commission (APOC) are speculating that an ethics act complaint filed last year against Palin and the establishment of her Alaska Fund Trust is about to be settled--against Palin."

So there we have it. The Alaska Fund Trust ethics complaint is, as we explained in detail in a post from March 2010, the big elephant in the room, and it doesn't look that Palin is going to get rid of it.

And by an unbelievable coincidence Geoffrey Dunn also mentions a name which we have just dropped here a few hours earlier - Petumenos.

Geoffrey writes:

"According to legal sources in Anchorage, there also have been rumors that attorney Tim Petumenos -- who issued the infamous Troopergate finding in 2008 and who also handled the first ethics complaint filed by McLeod against Palin and found that a key member of Palin's staff, Frank Bailey, get "training and counseling" on the Alaska Personnel Act to "prevent the potential for future violations of the act" --has been brought into the case. What the role of Petumenos would be given that Daniel handled the original finding remains uncertain. And there has never been an explanation as to why this complaint has taken more than a year to be resolved. So much for political transparency in the Last Frontier."

Things are going to get REALLY interesting! We will keep you updated.

I agree with our valued reader EyeOnYou that Petumenos was most likely brought in to get a second opinion. Tim Petumenos would have been the perfect choice, as he let Sarah off the hook in Troopergate. However, it seems possible that Petumenos has NOT let Sarah off the hook this time.

How many people paid $300 to watch the Super Bowl with Todd Palin in 2008? - UPDATES

Todd Palin was very involved with The Friends of the Alaska Governor's Mansion Foundation. Breakfasts, luncheons and other events were hosted by the First Dude to raise funds for the improvement of 716 Calhoun Ave, Juneau, AK.

One of the events promoted in Todd Palin's name was this:



Todd and his staff were busy organizing the Super Bowl event, co-ordinating with the members of the Foundation and trying very hard to sell tickets.

They discussed the Super Bowl in a Foundation meeting.





I found the Foundation's details and also their form 990.

The only problem with raising money by selling tickets to watch the game with Todd at the "House" is that the NFL doesn't like it at all. They stopped churches having Super Bowl parties. The only venues allowed to have public broadcasts of the games are sports bars, provided they don't charge their patrons for admission.

Todd, his staff and the Foundation were resourceful in coming up with all kinds of ideas for fundraising, but they couldn't be bothered to find out what the NFL rules are regarding broadcasts of the games or the copyright laws. The NFL didn't know anything about this fundraiser. Until now...

By the way, the Foundation was asked to foot the bill for an extraordinary improvement to the House: a trampoline.

Unless the Palins are trampoline fanatics and had one at the House in Juneau and others at each of their properties, it could well be that the fun addition to the House found its way to the other fun house in Wasilla...

Exciting news every day, we can hardly keep up!

In an unexpected move, the State of Alaska released 3,000 pages of emails from the former administration of Sarah Palin to MSNBC.COM!

MSNBC.COM has one of their best investigative journalists on the case - Bill Dedman, who once received a Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting.

A first check of the emails by MSNBC.COM has already revealed that "first dude" Todd Palin acted as some kind of "Shadow Governor" - basically as a "No. 2" who gave orders to members of the administration on a regular basis.

MSNBC.COM has apparently spared no expenses and specifically created a fully searchable database for these emails which seems to work great - it's full of treasures! After only a few minutes a searching, I already made some very fascinating discoveries!

This thread will constantly be updated with the new findings!

This one is extremely interesting: On March 7, Todd and Sarah went to see the movie "Juno" - the day after Sarah Palin announced her pregnancy! ("our second movie we've seen together in the last four years")

This is the plot of the movie:

A tale told over four seasons, starting in autumn when Juno, a 16-year-old high-school junior in Minnesota, discovers she's pregnant after one event in a chair with her best friend, Bleeker. In the waiting room of an abortion clinic, the quirky and whip-sharp Juno decides to give birth and to place the child with an adoptive couple. She finds one in the PennySaver personals, contacts them, tells her dad and step-mother, and carries on with school. The chosen parents, upscale yuppies (one of whom is cool and laid back, the other meticulous and uptight), meet Juno, sign papers, and the year unfolds. Will Juno's plan work, can she improvise, and what about Bleeker?

Well, anyone should decide for him-/herself how to interpret this "event".

On this occasion, I would like to disclose something else: Several months ago, in the summer of 2009, I had a long and very pleasant phone conversation with former AK State Senate President Lyda Green. We talked mainly about Sarah's pregnancy with Trig and Troopergate.

Lyda Green told me in this conversation that she was in the same room with Sarah Palin on March 6, 2008 when Sarah announced her pregnancy to the public. In Lyda Green's opinion, Sarah didn't look pregnant at all. Lyda Green also confirmed to me that the rumors about Bristol's pregnancy already existed in Juneau back in December 2007 (so far to the tale that these are "internet rumors"). Lyda Green said to me that she herself doesn't know for certain if Sarah faked the pregnancy, and added: "If I knew, I would tell you."

I know that a comprehensive post about this issue is overdue. There is much more material we have collected - for example, we know that a top-Republican Alaskan politician, whose name we know, said in a private conversation in January 2008 that Bristol was pregnant - as a fact, NOT a rumor.

HERE WE HAVE ANOTHER BIG ONE: A citizen met Sarah and Todd in the Alaska Airlines Boardroom in Seattle on April 17, 2008, chatted to them and DID NOT NOTICE AT ALL THAT SARAH PALIN WAS IN LABOR!

He writes to Sarah the next day, on April 18, 2008 (Trig's official birthdate):

Dear Governor Palin,

Yesterday evening as I was flying back to Juneau from a business trip in Seattle, I had the pleasure of chatting with you and your husband Todd in the Alaska Airlines boardroom. It seemed as though you were engrossed in a book so I spoke mostly with Todd and tried not to intrude on your opportunity to relax. Little did I know that your were in labor at the time. I'm impressed that you were gracious enough to speak with me even though you both obviously had much more important things on your mind. In retrospect, it would have been totally understandable if you had just asked to be left alone. My prayers will be with you, your new son and your family.

That's a fascinating one, too! On August 21, 2008, the Queen is upset, because somebody went to her "Gov's house bedroom and to one of the House offices to get emails from computers" while she was in Fairbanks - and the Queen didn't know anything about it.

Sarah is extremely concerned:

"Who are 'they'? Who went to the bedroom, where else did they go?"

Apparently the AK department of law initiated it, but from this correspondence, the whole affair remains mysterious. Maybe it wasn't the department of law, but some "federal folks"...?
