Sarah Palin fights with devastating poll numbers and hooks up with the lamestream

"Sarah Palin’s Approval Rating Crashes to a New Low" was one of the typical headlines of 2010, and the situation for Alaska's most famous citizen is not improving: NBC/The Wall Street Journal published a new poll, and Palin looks "palin' by comparison":

NBC NEWS - WSJ Poll - December 2010

Ouch! It does appear that US citizens really do not appreciate the efforts of Sarah Palin. How ungrateful of them...

HuffPost reports:

Public opinion on Palin leaves little room for her to improve only by swaying those who are undecided about her — she must actively change peoples' minds if she wishes to compete against Obama. According to the NBC/WSJ survey, 50 percent of respondents said they have a negative view of Palin while only 28 percent have a positive view. In the HuffPost Pollster trend estimate, Palin has only a 37-percent favorable rating, while 52 percent disapprove. This is an ominous sign for Palin not just because she is unpopular among those who express an opinion of her but because the vast majority of people do express an opinion - 78 percent of people in the NBC / Wall Street Journal poll and 89 percent in the HuffPost Pollster Trend estimate.

Romney, on the other hand, not only starts from a stronger position than Palin but may have more room to grow simply by becoming better known. In the new survey, respondents had a more positive view of Romney by a 28-percent to 20-percent margin (his HuffPost Pollster favorable rating is also positive, by a 34-percent to 31-percent margin). In the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, more than half (52 percent) said they had no opinion of Romney.

The trend doesn't look too good for the ice queen either:

Pollster Sarah Palin trend December 2010

But who appears to be unimpressed by these terrible poll numbers?

Sarah Palin...as well as parts of the media from the group which Sarah loves to call the "lamestream."

So why not hook up with each other...?

Politico published a remarkably detailed, three-page-article, examining Sarah Palin's new media strategy. It is noteworthy that the journalists of Politico seem to keep a much closer eye on Palin these days after the controversy regarding Jonathan Martin's "Hurricane Sarah" article which famously resulted in Sarah Palin calling Jonathan Martin a "punk."

The former Alaska governor has started cautiously cooperating with some of the same media outlets she and her supporters have accused of unfair and inaccurate coverage they feel has caricatured her as a flaky lightweight — a narrative her team seems determined to rewrite as Palin openly weighs a bid for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

“This is just about getting the press to characterize the governor accurately,” said Tim Crawford, a top Palin aide. “And, if that can be accomplished through Gov. Palin and some of the people around her talking to the press, we’ll try that.” (See: Palin has run in with press.)

Palin’s effectiveness as Republican John McCain’s 2008 vice presidential pick was undercut by the bad press she generated, particularly from her stumbling television interviews. After that experience — and particularly since her resignation as governor last year, which she says was prompted partly by unrelenting media scrutiny — Palin has mastered a high-impact, if unconventional, communication style that almost completely circumvents most traditional media.

Instead, she’s relied on conservative media outlets from which she is unlikely to face tough questioning (most notably Fox News, for which she is a paid contributor). She also taps social media such as Facebook and Twitter, combined with her own star power, to deliver cutting attacks on her opponents and the media that sometimes drive the political debate for days.

So what does Palin have to offer to the "lamestream?"

The latest example: ABC spared no expense and sent GMA co-anchor Robin Roberts to Alaska. The full episode was due to be aired today - some of the excerpts:

Well, to be perfectly honest, and with all due respect, ABC: If you do conduct an interview with Sarah Palin and produce nothing which really differs significantly from an interview on Fox News, then it probably wasn't worth it.

The constant attacks by Sarah Palin and her Palinbot attack brigade which were directed at the "lamestream" media DID deliver results: Despite the fact that Sarah is one of the most vicious politicians around and developed insults and "mean-girl-manners" to an art-form, tells lies on a regular basis and hides numerous private scandals and secrets, she doesn't need to be afraid to be asked in a very critical manner. It appears that no journalist is keen to have Palin's fanatical supporters at his or her throat, which would be the inevitable result of highly critical reporting, as proven countless times in the past.

No change of this sad state of affairs is to be expected to happen soon, and this is bad news, despite of the atrocious poll numbers. The "lamestream" continues to give Sarah Palin a pass.

Even the important conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer is being attacked in a pretty disgusting way by Palin's fans due to his opposition to Sarah Palin. The rabid right-wing "American Spectator" asked today:

"Does Krauthammer Have a Man Crush on Obama?"

Krauthammer likes Obama, he has a "man crush" on him? Well, the "American Spectator" seems to be convinced and explains the underlying reason for Krauthammer's alleged adoration:

My guess is that it has something to do with Sarah Palin. While Krauthammer has not called Palin "a cancer" or "a joke" as Brooks has done, his distaste for Palin is palatable. This was certainly the case in August 2009 when Krauthammer suggested that we ought to ask "Sarah Palin leave the room" after she coined the term "death panels."(...)

It seems to me that Krauthammer cannot get past Palin's accent. The prospect of a Palin presidency has Krauthammer so troubled that he is now prepared to cast Obama as another Bill Clinton and have four more years of Obama in the White House. How else does one explain Krauthammer concluding his article by comparing Obama to Ronald Reagan?

So there we have some revenge for Krauthammers open criticism on Palin, which he reiterated in a recent interview with Bill O'Reilly. It's really about Palin, who ought not to be picked on, and not about Obama.

The fact that Krauthammer criticized Sarah Palin on his show prompted Bill O'Reilly to give poor little Sarah the chance to defend herself. That's at least my impression - and to be perfectly honest again, the following clip with Bill O'Reilly is just as "enlightening" as a typical "lamestream" interview with Sarah Palin:

Palin: "I am sorry I am not so hotty-totty."

Well, Bill O'Reilly clearly is not Sarah Palin's biggest fan, as became already apparent in the past, for example when Bill O'Reilly famously interviewed an ill-prepared Sarah Palin on immigration. I guess that's what Charles Krauthammer had in mind about when he called Palin "weak on policies."

On a different topic, we recently received information from different people regarding the fact that the Palin family apparently bought a new home in or around Phoenix, AZ. Apparently Bristol now lives there with Tripp. This could also be Sarah Palin's base for the upcoming presidential campaign. While this is all still at a "rumor stage", due to the lack of hard evidence, I would like to point out that the rumors are "strong."

Speaking of Tripp - we received this picture a while ago. Tripp in the rain, bare-foot (of course...). The photo was taken at the back of Palin's house in Wasilla:

Tripp Palin in the rain

This picture appears to have been taken in July, so it was most likely a warm, rainy day. Sarah Palin's history of "bare footed neglect" doesn't seem to apply here. But it's a fun picture. What would be a good caption?

By the way, Levi certainly knows how to pick cool shirts for his son:

Levi with Tripp - Levi 4 Mayor

Levi, Bristol and Tripp - the soap opera will probably continue for the next decades.

Bristol Palin's Prom Pregnancy-Gaffe - Which pregnancy was it, Bristol? Bonus: Bristol's "prom date from hell" in 2006

Guest post by Blueberry Tart

On Jay Leno’s program last week, Bristol Palin said that she didn’t attend her prom because she was pregnant.

At the 1:50 mark:

That was a pretty surprising comment, and perhaps a bit less scripted than the remark that her mom was out hunting ;-) She could easily have said, “because my baby brother was just born,” or “because I had mono for five months,” or “because I wasn’t attending school and neither was Levi,” but instead, she said she missed it because she was pregnant. Thanks, Bristol! It is always nice to get a new clue straight from the horse’s mouth (so to speak), so now we can add this one to the many other clues that we have amassed over the past two years.

Let’s see how this information compares to what we know about when Bristol was pregnant:

She can't mean the 2009 prom, because Tripp was born months before her senior prom took place; she was photographed with him in graduation garb that spring. So she must be referring to the prom in the spring of 2008. Which prom? There were four proms in the Mat-Su Valley, but there is no indication that Bristol attended any other school in the valley than Wasilla High School. According to the school calendar, Wasilla High School has only one prom each year, and in 2008 it was on April 19th (H/T to PUAAN and others). The other proms in the valley were earlier, except for prom at the alternative Burchell HS: Palmer High School - April 5th; Colony High School- April 12th; Wasilla High School - April 19th and Burchell High School - April 25th.

I do not have the date of the Anchorage West High School prom, but it was referred to as “last weekend” in an Anchorage Daily News post on Sunday, April 27th – so I infer that it was the weekend of the 19th as well. If so, it appears that “her prom” was on Saturday, 4/19/08.

However, we already know that, by her own and Levi's accounts, they didn't know she was pregnant until May. Here is a quote from People Magazine: "Bristol found out she was pregnant at the beginning of May last year, just weeks after her mother, then 44, gave birth to her fifth child—son Trig." So it seems safe to assume that she did not know she was pregnant with Tripp on the date of any of the possible proms. Hmmm.

Next, let’s compare the prom date(s) to what we know about her pregnancy. Her family reported that her due date was December 18th and that Tripp was actually born on 12/27. If so, then Tripp was conceived around April 5th. Bristol probably would not have even realized that she might be pregnant by the time of the proms just two weeks later.

Also, girls don’t generally decide on prom day whether they are going or not. This is a big event that is usually weeks or even months in the planning, including shopping for a gown, shoes and accessories, appointments for getting hair and nails done, etc. The boys usually rent tuxedos, order flowers and arrange for limos. Attendees buy tickets ahead of time, and may plan post-prom parties. Often, there is some serious money involved, at least from a teenager’s perspective. In other words, you don’t usually decide at the last minute whether you’re going to the prom or not.

So, taken out of any context, this remark by Bristol is interesting in its own right. It seems very doubtful that she would have planned to go to the prom but cancelled at the last minute because she would not have known she was pregnant yet. But perhaps she had already put these plans aside, because she was pregnant earlier than the reported time of the Tripp pregnancy.

Let’s go back and take a quick look at some other things that we know were happening in Bristol’s life around that time. What was happening around April 19th? Of course we know that the family announced Trig’s birth just the day before. It seems like that would be pretty memorable!

We also know that Bristol had appeared pregnant in late summer-early fall 2007, and then disappeared from view. We have read MySpace comments indicating that she was sexually active in the spring of 2007 and that in May, Sarah confronted her after a phone call that led her to believe Bristol was pregnant. In late June, Bristol called herself a “slut” and left the comment “:( now im a mother duck for that baby!”

Download Bristol's myspace comments from 2006/2007 HERE.

Bristol Myspace 2

More context: Bristol’s friends were aware of the pregnancy rumors in late 2007, as was an Alaska State Senator, Lyda Green. Another prominent Republican politician in Alaska even mentioned it as a fact in a conversation in January 2008 that Bristol was pregnant.

Sarah herself tried to dispel the rumors in February 2008, in a conversation with Bill McAllister. A blogger on reddit.com reported on the Bristol pregnancy rumor in a post written on April 8, 2008 and said she was going to high school in Anchorage.

Bristol left Wasilla High School midway through the 2007-08 school year. By some accounts, she had a five-month long “case of mono.” As we have reported previously, Heather Bruce confirmed (in the book Trailblazer by Lorenzo Benet, p. 182, 183) that Bristol lived with her while going to Anchorage West HS. This extended stay with Aunt Heather had to be during the 2007-08 school year, because it was reported before the 08-09 school year took place.

What Palingates knows through their own research is that Bristol disappeared from public view in fall 2007 and “re-appeared” in Anchorage in January 2008 and attended classes in Anchorage in January and February 2008. However, at the beginning of March 2008, Bristol “vanished” again. In addition, there are reports that Bristol was very upset because of the fact that Sarah announced her pregnancy on March 5, 2008.

Several media outlets have later connected Bristol’s stay in Anchorage with her pregnancy – however, how could it have been the “Tripp” pregnancy, when she stayed in Anchorage several months before she got pregnant with Tripp?

Inside Edition aired a report on 9/2/08 stating that “Halfway through the school year, about the time Bristol discovered she was pregnant, she transferred to another high school.” This obviously refers to the 2007-08 year, as it was published in early September 2008.

The Washington Post reported that Bristol went mid-school-year to live with her aunt in Anchorage, finishing at the city's West High School. The principal of the Wasilla High School also confirmed that Bristol transferred from there halfway through the 2007-2008 school year.

The National Enquirer reported this as well, with some additional details: “When Sarah found out the teen was pregnant by high schooler Levi Johnston, she was actually banished from the house. As part of the cover-up, Palin quickly transferred Bristol to another high school and made her move in with Sarah’s sister Heather 25 miles away!”

Thanks to Lorenzo Benet’s biography “Trailblazer”, we also know when Bristol returned from Anchorage to Wasilla: It was in May 2008 (p. 188).

It seems to us that these media outlets assumed that Bristol was banished because of the Tripp-pregnancy, but they did not “connect the dots.” It could have not been the Tripp pregnancy.

So, now we have Bristol herself saying that she missed her prom because she was pregnant. This cannot refer to the pregnancy with Tripp, according to the information we have. Bristol did not know she was pregnant with Tripp until May 2008, but all the proms were in April. It’s another one of these “curiosities” which catch our attention and raise many questions. Obviously the pieces of the stories that the Palins have presented do not add up. Thanks again, Bristol - please keep talking!

Addition by Patrick:

However, there is more interesting news:

Talking about Bristol Palin and her proms, we DO know that Bristol went to a prom in 2006. We also know who her prom date was. Our research team, which played a decisive role in this discovery, has dubbed him "The prom date from hell."

If you have a 15-year-old daughter, you might be interested to know what the background of her prom date looks like - especially if you live in a place like Alaska.

Well, one thing is for sure: "Mama Grizzly" Sarah Palin definitely did not care about who her daughter Bristol was "paling around" with in 2006 - which provides another good insight into her mediocre "skills" as a mother.

Bristol's prom date in 2006, a guy who we will call "J", probably would have had a pretty normal upbringing- had he not grown up in the drug-infested environment of Alaska.

A very dangerous environment which should make mothers very cautious when it comes to the friends of their children.

Here is a picture from his public myspace, showing him and Bristol going to the prom in 2006 (we have blurred J's face on all the pictures):

J at prom day - Bristol - blurred 2

Pictured with Track on the same day:

J at prom with Track - blurred

At this point J already had a serious conflict with the law. About one year earlier, in March 2005, he was convicted of "Leaving the scene of an accident - involving injury/death" and sentenced to a fine and to a not insignificant jail term:

J charges

The exact circumstances of this incident are not known.

Which is apparent from his own presentations on myspace and from our further research is that J was deeply involved in the drug culture in Alaska.

This is a picture of J smoking hash, published by himself on his public myspace:

J smoking - blurred

The comments which were left on the smoking picture at J's myspace start in October 2006, so it was probably taken not a long time after J went to the prom with Bristol.

One of the 13 comments on this "smoking picture":

Tabitha Burton myspace comment - name blacked out

For more info about Tabitha Burton, see below.

We know from further research that J spent about 9 months in drug rehab in California. He proudly presents the "Certificate of Completion" of his drug rehab on his myspace:

J certificate of rehab completion - edited

It's a small world in Alaska, and J is also very good friends with Mercede Johnston:

J with Mercede - blurred

J is pictured together on the following photo with Tabitha Burton, who currently is in major trouble, as she is one of the accused in a sensational case of double-murder in Alaska. The trial is still ongoing.

J with Tabitha Burton - blurred

Tabitha Burton in court
Tabitha Burton in court on March 4, 2009

However, it is far from certain at this point that Tabitha Burton is guilty of the alleged crime, as it is possible that she was just an "innocent bystander." But what we know for certain is that the reason for the murders was a substance which I would call "the curse of the Valley" and which is said to be no stranger to some of Sarah Palin's children themselves: Oxycontin.

With this curse surrounding you, it would be better for you if you looked out for your children and who they associated themselves with. Otherwise, you are far from being a "Mama Grizzly."

The upside of this story is that the young man in question who was Bristol's prom date in 2006 finally appears to be getting his act together and has recently joined one of the forces.

With the beginning of his "new life", he should probably also be thinking about cleaning up his myspace profile. ;-)

Just a thought:

Imagine a black dude smoking hash like J in the picture, knowing another black girl pretty well who was accused of double murder - and having been at the same time one of the prom dates of the Obama children.

I know that the Obama children are still too young, but just imagine.

+++

Please note that "J" is not Jeremy Morlock and not Johnny Chandler (who have both been mentioned in the media before). We didn't reveal the identity of "J" because he has started a new life, there is no reason at this point to make his identity public.

Sarah Palin's hypocrisy, an enduring theme: "socialized healthcare" is good enough for the Palin family

Shannyn Moore and earlier the Daily Kos commented on the fact that Bristol Palin's son Tripp Johnston is an enrolled tribal member of the Curyung Tribe and receives health care services at the state of the art Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage.

Recently released documents from the custody battle show clearly Tripp Palin Johnston has socialized health care through Indian Health Services and the Alaska Native Medical Center.

Palin’s family has federally funded health care afforded to them…but if you had, it Barack Obama might kill you. Put this on the list of Palin’s Greatest Hypocritical Hits…Volume 97.

Tripp is eligible to Native health care, according to this document.

native health eligibility 1
native health eligibility 2
Apart from collecting Bristol Bay Native Corporation dividends for himself and his children, Todd has very little involvement in native affairs.

native corp dividends

An ADN article gives us some insight into Todd Palin's "nativeness":

Culturally, the Palins live a lifestyle of small-town Alaska. Todd does not take part in Native organizations or tribal politics. He grew up in Glennallen and Wasilla. His Native roots can be seen in his dividends from the Bristol Bay Native Corporation and boyhood visits with his grandma, where he learned to tend fish nets along the Nushagak River.

The Palins are grifters and opportunists as well as world class hypocrites. They are using anything they can to slam Levi at any given opportunity. Levi expected to have to provide health care cover for his son and would have deductions for it, naturally. So the Palins came back with the Native "thingie" to make Levi look bad, reinforcing their hypocrite credentials in the process. After all, Granny Palin is death panelled against socialized health care...

In the meantime, Tripp is receiving free health care thanks to grandad NINO (Native In Name Only).

Bristol Palin vs Levi Johnston - The art of producing evidence

We have found an interesting timeline of some events surrounding the custody battle between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston. It was buried in the comments on one of Bree's posts. This post is based on that comment.

The motion for closure of the custody proceedings relating to Tripp Johnston was filed on November 4, 2009.

Bristol Palin's lawyer, Mr Thomas Van Flein, cited Levi's Johnston's Twitter account as a reason to keep the proceedings confidential.

That same night, Levi's tweets were read by William Shatner on Conan O'Brien's show, which really "proved" that Levi's fame and propensity to tweet about private matters would compromise the custody proceedings if they were made public. What a truly extraordinary coincidence...

Conan apologized after Rex Butler, Levi's attorney, pointed out that the Twitter account was a fake.

On November 6, Andrea Gusty, a reporter for KTUU, interviewed Levi and Rex Butler regarding the Twitter incident. Andrea Gusty is the same reporter who validated some photographs taken on April 13, 2008, showing a very pregnant Sarah Palin. Ms Gusty attempted to lead Levi into answering questions about the dirt he had on Sarah.

It seems to me that it's too much of a coincidence that Levi's "tweets" became a comedy item on a popular show exactly on the same day the custody motion, with all its confidentiality clauses, was filed by Bristol Palin. Two days later, a reporter sympathetic to the Palins tried to ambush Levi into talking about the dirt on Sarah Palin, which would reinforce his image as the "bad boy" who can't keep his mouth shut and capitalizes on the Palins fame in pursuit of cheap publicity for himself.

What an amazing coincidence that the "facts" about Levi's indiscretions fit the "evidence" presented in the custody motion!

When it comes to the Palins, do we believe in coincidences?

Levi Johnston on The Insider (video) - "I am in the process of writing a tell-all book and will tell everything"

It looks like Levi will not be put down or curl up and go to sleep.

Levi has the right to see his son, but the Palins make it very, very difficult, then accuse him of not being involved in Tripp's life. It's a real shame that Bristol Palin is sacrificing her son's emotional health by not allowing Tripp to have a loving relationship with his father.

Bristol has embarked on a PR campaign with her mother. They have appeared as "mother and daughter bringing up their babies together" in a gossip magazine, gave an interview to Oprah, where Bristol emerged as a born again virgin, talking about how she feels so lonely.

Bristol, you don't have to do it alone, Levi is more than willing to participate in all the chores involved in bringing up the baby you share. The baby your mother will not allow you to share.

Shame on you, Bristol Palin. Shame, shame on you, Sarah Palin.

with Sarah Palin and the "born again virgin" Bristol tonight

Sarah Palin Oprah hairstyle
Sarah's hairstylist is ... (fill in the blank)

Oprah just published the details about Bristol's and Sarah's interview with her which will be shown tonight on TV. It is basically a re-hash of the failed "In Touch" cover story. Bristol Palin surely has her new talking points soundly rehearsed by now. She is now officially a "born again virgin" and will never touch a man again before marriage. How impressive! Saint Bristol in action!

I almost regret that I never posted details about Bristol's colorful love-life before the birth of ... ehhh ...TRIG which we received long ago. I never published any details because that seemed to be inappropriate. However, one thing I will say, it's hard to recognize Bristol again. She doesn't seem to be a candidate for abstinence judging on her eventful past.

Here is the report about the interview as just posted on Oprah's website:

Sarah Palin has lived her life in the public eye. She's been governor of Alaska, a vice presidential candidate and a best-selling author. Now, Sarah's taking the leap from newsmaker to news commentator in her new role as a Fox News analyst.

It's a full-circle moment for Sarah, who majored in journalism and once worked as a local sports anchor. "I think my parents are kind of pleased too," she says. "I'm putting that college degree to work."

After the 2008 presidential race, Sarah criticized some of the ways she and the campaign were portrayed in the media. Now on the other side of the desk, Sarah wants to get back to basics. "When I studied journalism, we learned all about the who, what, when, where and why of reporting. Just stating the facts," she says. "I'll engage in that, kind of ratcheting back down to the simplicity of what journalism should be about: just the basics and letting the people decide what their opinion will be."

After the announcement, media outlets questioned whether Sarah would abandon any future presidential bids—or use the role to gear up for campaigns to come.

"I'm not closing any door that maybe I find open in the future. And, thankfully, the Fox Network has allowed me to keep that door open," she says. "Maybe [politics] is in my future, but in the meantime [I] just really look forward to being a part of the news cycle again."

During the presidential race, Sarah wasn't the only Palin making headlines. Then 17-year-old Bristol Palin made news when her pregnancy became public.

Now 19, Bristol is the proud mom of 1-year-old Tripp. Though she loves being a mom, she admits it's not easy to care for a child and work at the same time. "The lack of sleep definitely surprised me," she says. "A typical day starts at 4, 4:30."

Being a mom, Bristol says, makes her respect her own mother more. In a recent interview, she spoke about crying as she tried to rock her screaming baby to sleep. "I have this big supportive family and stuff, but I just felt so alone," she says. "[It] felt just like a breaking point where reality sunk in that, yeah, I have a kid. This is my life. This is my full-time job now."

Though she admits there are days she wishes she was at college with her friends, Bristol says she doesn't want another life. "I have a beautiful baby boy, and he's awesome," she says.

Bristol says she hopes other young girls will learn from her story and wait to have sex until marriage. Bristol says she will not have sex again until she has a husband. "I just think it's a goal to have, and I think other young women should have that goal."

Sarah admits she was shocked when she first learned of Bristol's pregnancy but says she couldn't be prouder of the mom her daughter has become. "I wish that we had had more candid talks about having unprotected sex, about having sex before marriage," she says. "She's handled this so well, though. She's very strong, quite independent. And she has taken full responsibility for her actions. She's raising Tripp just splendidly, and we couldn't be prouder."

Levi Johnston weighs in - and calls it as he sees it.

Gawker reports:

Because Sarah and Bristol Palin are sharing their mass delusion about abstinence on Oprah, Levi couldn't let this opportunity go to waste to get in front of the camera himself. He's on The Insider tonight, and he's talkin' trash.

He's shares his old gem that he's working on a tell all book that shares everything about the Palin family. We'll believe that when we see it. Anyway, he says he doesn't mind paying more for child support, but he wants to see his son more and have Sarah Palin stop interfering in his life. As for what Bristol has to say to Oprah, Levi shares, "[Bristol] answered like two questions. She couldn't answer questions without Sarah butting in and adding her own two cents."

He also makes a very good point about her claims that it is difficult to raise their child alone, "She's talking about how hard it is... if she wanted help she would let me in there." Nice one, Levi. The music is on Sarah and Bristol, time to dance.

Bristol v Levi - the plot thickens... - UPDATE! LEVI JOHNSTON DEFENDS HIMSELF!

Bristol Palin has filed a motion for interim child support in which she asks for 20% of Levi's earnings for 2009, that, on information and belief, were estimated to be in excess of $105,000. She is asking for $1,750 per month, retroactive to December 27, 2009. As Levi had already contributed $4,400, Bristol would be content to receive $18,350.

bristol v levi money

According to Alaskan law:

"The custodial parent may request child support from the date the parents separated (even if that was long ago).

The order will tell you when you started owing child support, and when payments are due. "

Did Bristol and Levi split up before or on the very day Tripp was born?

She seems to be guessing how much Levi earned:

Our retroactive virgin wants a piece of Levi's cake, but she doesn't want the world to know how big her own cake is.

b v l letter 2

Please note that Van Flein says that Levi wants ALL OF HIS information pertaining to this case to be public. No, he wanted ALL of the information regarding the case to be public in order to protect himself from Granny Palin's dirty tricks...

We wonder whether Rex and Levi will get the message that the Palin camp wants Bristol's financial information to be confidential. Van Flein repeated it enough times in his letter...

Levi does not appear to have responded to any of it. Is he happy with the proposed amount and the confidentiality stipulation? Or is he preparing a "big strike" for a future permanent order, demanding Bristol's earnings to be disclosed?

Page 8 of the pdf of the court documents shows an order granting motion for interim child support. Please note that it's NOT signed by the judge.

TMZ, the people who published photos of Sarah Palin in Hawaii (they took the nice photos, not the celulite ones), are now having fun mocking Levi, with a succession of unflattering articles. We can only guess how much they took to sell their souls to the Palins.

We should show Levi some support by visiting TMZ and leaving some comments to set the record straight. After all, Bristol earned (on information and belief) considerably more than Levi in 2009. ALL her photoshoots included Tripp, she made her money pimping Tripp all over the place. We don't remember seeing Tripp in the pistachio ad or in the shower with Levi for his "porn" debut.

Mother and daughter are bringing up their bundles of joy in strikingly similar fashion. Poor Trig was paraded at all hours, in any weather, to sell books. Tripp fared a bit better so far, he just had to be cute in the sink and eat some birthday cake as the poster child for abstinence. But give Bristol some time to catch up with Granny Palin, she's a novice. After all, granny had a head start, she has pimped her children for a long time, by now she's a real pro!

UPDATE (by Patrick):

There is explosive news - the battle is heating up! Rex Butler now basically accuses Bristol Palin of lying.

It seems to me that Sarah Palin tries to play dirty again - just like in the case against Trooper Wooten!

TMZ reports:

Attorney Rex Butler tells TMZ, Levi has told Bristol on several occasions he wanted her to come to his house to pick up checks for Tripp's support. Butler says Levi also told her "it would be nice" if she brought Tripp along when she picked up the checks, because Levi wanted to spend time with his son. Butler says on each occasion Bristol was a no-show.

Butler says Bristol is partly to blame for the fact that she hasn't gotten the support she wants. Butler tells TMZ on one occasion Levi was prepared to hand over $3,000 ... but Bristol never showed.

As for why Levi didn't just put the check in the mail ... Butler says, "Why should he have to do that. He's not dangerous to her."

As we first reported, Bristol filed legal docs late Thursday asking for $1,750 a month in child support from Levi, claiming he's only paid $4,400 since Tripp was born. Levi's manager says the Playgirl model has forked over more than $10K.

Butler would not tell us how much Levi made in 2009, but says it's significantly less than $250,000.

And, Butler says, Bristol's been driving around in a $60,000 Cadillac Escalade that he believes Sarah Palin bought ... and he thinks Sarah is controlling Bristol and is behind the latest legal move.

UPDATE 2 (by Patrick):

ET Online reports that Levi Johnston defends himself against allegations made by Van Flein and by the media:

In an exclusive interview with ET, Levi says he believes he has given Bristol more than she claims. "I don't really know but my lawyer does. But it's reasonable, what he thought was fair. For them to call me a deadbeat dad's absurd. I attempt to call her all the time and give her texts to make sure he's doing well ... I call her all the time. I try and do everything I can to see my son. I'm making an effort. I'm trying to be there for him."

Judge harassement campaign - Did it happen? Sarah Palin is still silent. - UPDATE 3 - New video

It seems the judge harassement protest regarding the case Bristol v Levi for the custody of baby Tripp Johnston went ahead. It's difficult to tell how many people actually tried to ring the judges, but they appear to be busy e-mailing Gov Parnell.

This protest is not as popular as people think. The group Barracuda Brigade For Our American Girl! 2012 has 2,560 fans, but on the protest page there are more people NOT attending the event (the protest is listed as an event and people have to RSVP) than anything else.

There were only 144 confirmed "guests".

Jessica Beehive quit the protest, but the organizer of the event, Dave Smith, was scheduled to appear on the ever classy Eddie Burke show.

While these people are busy on Twitter, Facebook and appearing on talk radio, Granny Sarah Palin is still very quiet about it. Silence is consent, so they say...

The judges may have taken their phones off the hook, but Gov Parnell will be charmed with the increase in the number of e-mails in his inbox.

UPDATE

On a different note, we expect Granny Palin to throw a hissy fit if she watches this on Sunday.

Watch CBS News Videos Online

Palin had a reflexive tendency to refer to Biden as "O'Biden," Schmidt revealed. He says other people on the campaign staff came up with a solution. "It was multiple people -- and I wasn't one of them-- who all said at the same time, 'Just say, 'Can I call you Joe?'' which she did."

In fact, Palin did accidentally call the senator "O'Biden" once during the debate.

UPDATE 2

Our regular legal contributor, Stephanie Esq, has given her opinion on the protest:

When one party or one parties' supporters/allies create disruptions to an ongoing legal process, the remedy is not to close that process to the public, but to deal with the people disrupting the process.

There is a constitutional right to attend open court proceedings in almost all instances. A very high treshhold has to be met by the party moving to close any open court proceeding.

In my opinion, whipping up a public frenzy that transparently seeks to pressure any court is not only incredibly misguided, but counter-productive. One abides by a trial court's rulings and never, but never, solicits outside pressure upon a court. There is a legal process for challenging final court orders: it's called an appeal, and it's reserved to the actual losing party in a case. Contacting the governor is nearly laughable in its sheer stupidity. It would be a crime for the executive branch, or anyone else, to interfere in a court proceeding and attempt to influence a judge.
