The bottlebrush flower was very popular, so I thought we should have another fantastic red one. I present you with this spectacular photo by Granny J, amateur photographer extraordinaire. You must click on it and see it in full size to appreciate the detail. I had to reduce the size of the file a little bit or blogger would have exploded, but it's still big enough. Granny J gave herself a new SLR camera on her birthday and tells me she's still trying to learn how to use it.It seems fitting to feature a lily on our open thread corner. We have nearly as many variations on the name Lily among our readers as there are types of lily... (OK, I exaggerated a bit there)
