Open Thread - Sarah Palin "unmasked"

The creativity of other people often amazes me. The graphic designer Kelly Anne Hanrahan now came up with a brilliant idea: Showing Sarah Palin "unmasked", or "unplugged", as she calls it. Therefore she created several unique images which show:

"A look at Sarah Palin with and without her trademark hairstyle, makeup, glasses and accessories."

Kelly Anne took real photos of Sarah Palin and "removed" the "hairstyle" (including Sarah's wigs...), her makeup, glasses and other "fashion items". Apart from that, she left the pictures as they were. On her page with these images, you can scroll over them and instantly get the comparison between the "two Sarahs" - the "real" and the "altered" picture. I strongly recommend a visit to this website!

From page 369 of "Game Change":

Palin greeted Davis, whom she knew slightly from some work he had done on her gubernatorial race. She wanted his opinion on a matter of no small importance.

“My brand is hair up, isn’t it?” she asked.

Yes, it is, Davis said.

Happy 46th birthday, Sarah. You seem to age better without so many enhancements.

Oh, maybe not...
