In a radio interview, she suddenly "goes birther", as the Daily Kos and Politico have reported. Sarah says that the question of Obama's birth certificate is a "fair question" and she says that she herself has "provided Trig's birth certificate"!
No, Sarah, you have never provided Trig's birth certificate! Have you forgotten to take your meds today? Did you provide Trig's birth certificate in the "fantasy world" you live in?
You didn't provide Trig's birth certificate because you didn't give birth to Trig, and the birth certificate doesn't show what it's "supposed to show"!
Sarah Palin made the remarks while speaking to conservative talker Rusty Humphries:
Transcript:
PALIN: I think the public rightly is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue because I think there are enough members of the electorate that still want answers.
HUMPHRIES: Do you think it’s a fair question to be looking at?
PALIN: I think it’s a fair question just like I think past associations and past voting records. All of that is fair game. You know, I’ve got to tell you too, I think our campaign, the McCain-Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area. We didn’t call out Obama and some of his associates on their records and what their beliefs were, and perhaps what their future plans were, and I don’t think that was fair to voters to not have done our job as candidates and a campaign to bring to light a lot of things that now we’re seeing manifest in the administration.
HUMPHRIES: I mean, truly if your past is fair game and your kids are fair game, certainly Obama’s past should be. I mean, we want to treat men and women equally, right?
PALIN: Hey, you know, that’s a great point. And that weird conspiracy theory freaky thing that people talk about that Trig isn’t my real son, and a lot of people that went "Well, you need to produce his birth certificate, you need to prove that he’s your kid," which we have done, but yeah, so maybe we can reverse that, and use the same [inaudible] thinking on the other one.

The Ethos of Ethics
When the Governor announced her decision to resign on July 3, she pointed out the then 15 frivolous ethics complaints that had been filed against her and dismissed. It was intended to explain, in part, her decision to resign as well to educate the public about the abuse of the Alaska Ethics Act through a repetitive stream of baseless partisan accusations, each one seemingly more pointless and frivolous than the next. The Governor’s message was not intended as an invitation to run off half-cocked and file more baseless ethics complaints, but not everyone understood that message—or wanted to understand. In August 2009, largely in response to the abuse of Alaska’s Ethics Act by partisan shills and low level lackeys, the Attorney General issued an opinion recommending changes to the Ethics Act ”to prevent another potential harm—abuse of the process. Some Alaskans have argued that the Ethics Act has been used inappropriately in some circumstances to politically damage the subject of the complaint.” (August 5, 2009 Attorney General Opinion). That argument was asserted by the Anchorage Daily News. “Our View: Abuse of Ethics Complaints Turns Good Law Into Bad Politics,” Anchorage Daily News, May 3, 2009. The Attorney General further recommended “another safeguard to discourage habitual complaint filers who use the Ethics Act process to harass executive branch employees. Statutory amendments could provide authority to the personnel board to decline to process further complaints filed by a person who has abused the Act in this way.” Though it is encouraging to see an impartial evaluation of the problem, it is ultimately up to the Legislature to implement any of these recommended changes. Governor Palin has been subjected to 24 ethics complaints, several lawsuits, and dozens and dozens of public information act requests, few of which raised even a scintilla of a good faith issue, and most of which were simply done to garner a headline or promote opposition research for political gain.
Recently we learned that two more ethics complaints against Governor Palin have been dismissed—complaints that were filed after the Governor announced her plans to step down. One complaint asserted that it was unethical for the state to follow its own per diem regulations and pay per diem to the Governor as set forth by law. Of course, the complainant conveniently overlooked that the Governor and her family received less per diem than they were entitled to under State law—why let such details stand in the way of an ethics complaint? The other complaint that was dismissed asserted that the Governor, through me, supposedly violated the constitution because we informed a person who falsely implied that the Governor was “under investigation” by the FBI, that such statements are defamatory. It is notable to watch those who agitate on all things Palin—locally and even across the Atlantic—as they Huff and puff falsehoods about Sarah Palin under the guise of free speech, which brings us to a teachable moment. All too often we hear about constitutional rights—as we should—but many forget about constitutional responsibilities. As citizens we have both rights and responsibilities. Though we have the right to exercise free speech, we have the responsibility to exercise that right without defaming people. I like the way our Alaska Constitution describes it: “Every person may freely speak, write, and publish on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that right.” Ak. Const. Art. I, Sec. 5. The irony of filing an ethics complaint because of a reminder about the constitutional parameters of free speech is no doubt lost on those consumed by irrationality when it comes to Sarah Palin; but one does not need an ethics law to know that positive political discourse depends on a robust debate about facts and the policy implications stemming from such facts. The nation is not helped by calumnious ad hominem attacks against Sarah Palin, matrilineal conspiracy theories, and aberrant notions of ethics.

"Stupid Conspiracies
Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask... which they have repeatedly. But at no point – not during the campaign, and not during recent interviews – have I asked the president to produce his birth certificate or suggested that he was not born in the United States."
Now she has taken her meds again and has realised what utter crap she had said on the air. Too late, dear Sarah!
But it gets even better: Thomas Van Flein has now gone where no lawyer has gone before: on facebook!

Hello, Sarah and Mr Van Flein! (big wave across the atlantic!)

Sarah Palin:
1. You have not given birth to Trig - this is a FACT, and no facebook statement will ever be able to change that!
2. You have never provided Trig's birth certificate or any other proof that Trig is your biological son, and you never will!
3. You are finished!

Those photos need to be dated, then we have the thread to pull....
FWIW: I think the mommy-in-law reference was that Bristol and levi WERE married, or engaged, they had rings. Palin was Levi's mommy-in-law
Charlie - AK,
I agree about the money and she knows she will not run. It is a ruse.
Carl Gatto is a legislator from Wasilla. How can he not know about Trig, Palin not pregnant and more? Wife and 4 children, too, also. Why is everyone quiet about that relationship?
Why no talk about Keith Johnston? The hockey and Track, etc? His church connections and new wife?
vw:guess
Very interesting that someone would get on here, put a huge post and ask Jesse Cornish to debate. I know this is a regular visitor, it makes me wonder about the motivations. Btw, the other variable is the fact that Trig looks so much like Levi. He could be his brother. Levi also acted unusually bonded to him at the convention.
The Nation IS suffering, but it is Miss Wasilla that is causing it.
SHE called most of us NOT Real Americans. And continues to do so.
SHE poisoned healthcare reform with her lies.
SHE spreads mistruths and myths on her facebook page, making it harder to have grown-up fact-based debates about the country's problems.
SHE needs to STFU.
22:55
We know the motivations of both now.
Gatto is into this up to his shifty eyeballs. He knows Sarah all too well. They both attend the same church, spew the same nonsense and his son Gabriel knows as much about Bristols anatomy as Levi does. However Gabe was smart enough to get out of that hornets nest quickly.
People should be paying more attention to that still birth bill and SP's comments towards it. I've been bringing it up for weeks now
I'm also concerned about Dan's motivation. We all know that Jesse is here to disrupt the conversation so why should Dan want to aid Jesse in that attempt?
I hope that Patrick puts his foot down on any such debate. There is no reason why Dan can't go and debate Jesse at Jesse's blog. We should not be subjected to it.MK
Wow, you guy still think you are going to out Palin dont you.
Its a bit shocking that you cannot see the delusions going on here.
Palin has a BC, can you imagine that cat who just ate the canary look on her face, when/if she shows it. What will you do when the media accepts it as fact and all your hard work is for naught.
If she gets you first you are done. Period. No one will believe you. You will have to get her first and put her on the defensive with your "proof" before she shows the BC.
Once she shows it it will be over and no media source will pick this story up again.
Your risk to take I guess.
Dan,
this blog is NOT the place for a "debate" between two readers. If you want to "debate" Jesse, do it on Jesse's own blog, but not here.
Anybody can leave comments about Sarah Palin and her scandals on palingates, but we are not a debating club, and I would say this to anyone else if it was necessary. As a general rule, everyone here is advised not to feed the trolls and to ignore them, as you can read in the text above the comment box!
22:56,
'The Nation IS suffering' ... rotmflmfao!!!!!!!!!
Hilarity galore !!!! Campy material, that dud can work for SNL one day.
Thanks Patrick, you said that much better than I could have.
I would lose the debate, Dan? I have eyewitness. I have the CBJ letter. I have photographs which show a pregnant woman.
What do you have? Your non-expert analysis of some photos that tells you the Sarah Palin could not possibly be pregnant?
To be frank, Sarah Palin has given you more documentation than she needs to. She does not need to provide you with Trig's birth certificate no more than she has to provide those belonging to her other children. You have no more right to ask for it than I have to ask Obama to prove he is the father of his children.
If you want to convince a skeptical audience, you will have to use facts. I have the facts. Want more? Not all woman show during a pregnancy, and some hide it during the entire term. Hey, some don't even know they're pregnant!

This book tour is an unmitigated disaster for Palin. She doesn't even know what she's saying. Her appearance and "discourse" have totally deteriorated. (Could the lump be affecting her overall health and mental state?).
It's funny that Todd says 'Sarah's Story' ... because that is what it is, isn't it? A story. As confirmed by not ONE, not TWO and not even THREE people that she mentions in her blog, but by EVERYONE she wrote about.
Why does Sarah DO this?
http://archivist1000.blogspot.com/2009/11/sarah-archtypical-tragic-hero.html
Sherry Johnston told People magazine she became hooked on OxyContin following a hysterectomy and numerous subsequent surgeries.
Unless she just made that up about the hysterectomy, she cannot -- repeat CANNOT -- be the mother of Trig.
If Palin had a birth certificate she would have released it long ago. There would have been no poxy, fake so-called medical letter with factually wrong information in it. A letter which also omitted important facts such as Palin's two spontaneous abortions or the very uncomfortable fact that little Trig has several holes in his heart which may require surgery.
What a witch Palin is. She carted that poor baby all around the country so that she might have a shot at "being vice-president" despite knowing all the time that Trig had medical issues. If she is his mother, she is a horrible one and I hope to God she NEVER gets anywhere near that red button because she is crazy enough to push it.

Of course I am a troll! I live under the bridge! That doesn't have any meaning to one such as yourself, though.
Why don't you live by your own rules and allow unlimited free speech? The reason is because you are a liar who can't even answer the most basic of questions. I want you to tell me what proof you have that the CBJ letter was forged-give me expert testimony. I also want a doctor to go on the record and examine those photographs and tell me that Sarah Palin could not possibly be pregnant.
unlimited free speech, that's hysterical! as if the sea of pee allows unmoderated comments. Thanks for my first laugh of the day.
archivist
despite the geographical size of Alaska, it is like a small town. everyone knows everyone and everything. and yes people are afraid of sarah. the woman is a total nutjob wacko and nothing will stop her from getting the things she wants. do you understand? NOTHING will stop her and no one. her lawyer goes along with her because he collects cash. how much do you think he charged her for her paranoid rant? then double it.
do some research on what has happened to people who crossed Palin. it isn't pretty
also in a small townno one wants to make a big deal of things. its already crazy since she ran for VP
she is a sociopath - look it up
and look at her kooky fans here. they actually think anyone gives a F about Palin's vagina and Jessie here is a thick headed numbskull-losers, the lot of them, but also nasty and dangerous losers. Look who Jessie follows - white supremicists; no wonder he lusts after sarah and what else could it be? Common sense tells you she is full of crap no matter what your political bent is. i mean c'mon, the woman is bananas. the MSM gives her too much attention if you ask me and so do all of you here. it just feeds her sick mind
also see IM for G's suggestion. its a good one
The only reason you have any media attention at all right now is because Sarah Palin gave it to you by mentioning the BC.
She knows what she is doing.
She is about to blow you all out of the water.
You are nothing without her mention. She could ignore you forever and you would be stuck in this limbo until you die.
She is about to put you out of your misery...lol. After all she is kind of vindictive. She waits until the moment is right and she can garner the most benefit before she gets even with her enemies.
While everyone is watching.
You did ask for it. Hope you have other hobbies.
The GOP, as unhinged as it is, will NEVER nominate a "birther." Palin is truly a laughingstock.
(Oh yeah, Palinbots, it's ONE WORD.)
When someone of average IQ is manic like Sarah Palin, a huge wave of depression usually follows a "public outing." Levi told us all about her huge depression after the election. Watch for signs of this now.
laugh·ing·stock (lāf'ĭng-stŏk', lä'fĭng-)
n. An object of jokes or ridicule; a butt.
Jesse!
Leave Patrick alone. Its better if he keeps his mouth shut right now.
Once Sarah shows her proof first, Patrick is done. Cooked. Over. Kaput. If he pursues anything after a birth certificate is shown it will be nothing more than an Orly Taitz situation. No one will take him seriously after a BC is shown. Palin has it, Its coming. Be patient and dont poke the lion in the cage. It will be put to sleep very soon...lol.
Ridicule him all you like but dont tempt him, hes about to get his goose cooked and hes too stupid to even realize it.
Patience my friend...soon.
Unlimited free speech coming from a clown who doesn't have the intellectual fortitude to allow comments on his OWN blog. You have no credibility whatsoever. What a loser. Don't you have a job Jesse? Or are you living off the (gasp) government, seems you have a whole lot of free time to CENSOR your blog while crying about it here
It is truly fascinating that anyone would take, as gospel, something Sherry Johnston told People magazine. She is probably scared witless of Sarah Palin and her clan just like everyone else. They might have made her say that. It's so funny that people are just insistent about this. Now if there's some sort of documentation or other evidence of her hysterectomy, great. Just let us know. If she's not the mother of Trig, then it's very possible Keith Johnston is the father.
Palin Signs Stillbirth Bill -
May 1, 2009
"This is beautiful because this can surely help a grieving family after losing a child," Governor Palin said. "I'm thankful that Alaska's legislature recognizes how important a step like this is as Alaska embraces a culture of life and respects precious babies, including babies stillborn, but still loved by their families. Alaskans respect this sanctity of life and I appreciate Representative Gatto's efforts."
New post up!
Respectfully, anonymous. I disagree. Patrick has no credibility now. Why not make him look like the fool he is?
And yes, I do not censor my own comments, unless they are obscene in nature.
AT: 04 December 2009 22:53
The Sadie/Mercede pictures are important. The comments interesting, but who can say what she meant or if she was believing a fake story?
Also, the picture of Levi and TINY baby from the same day and kitchen setting is interesting. It came later from Tyra Show, I think. As if someone was sending a cryptic message.
Even an honest Sarah fan should find the mystery intriguing. The Sadie/Mercede pictures were before May 5, 2008.
Why was this scrubbed? What is the close connection of Triggy Bear and the Johnstons? What happened to change it? Why can no one talk about it now? Why did the photo with Levi and TINY baby/Triggy Bear show up later?
Patrick,
I am really worried that she will produce a BC and that will satisfy most people. Will the people who can verify Trig's true parentage step forward? I have no doubt that SP is not Trig's mother, but I still wonder if Bristol is. Is there any truth to the theory that Bristol had a stillbirth, and that Trig was adopted from unrelated people?
Oooh, the last time trolls said Palin would do something spectacular she quit her elected job. Is she quitting her book tour?????
Did Palin's Comments Backfire?
Andrew Sullivan says Sarah Palin's comments yesterday on President Obama's citizenship have re-opened the issue of whether she is in fact the mother of her child.
"Palin has never produced Trig's birth certificate or a single piece of objective medical evidence that proves he is indeed her biological son. A child with Down Syndrome must have a pile of such records, tests, assessments and ultrasounds that conclusively prove that he is Sarah's biological son. It seems bizarre to me that neither the public nor the campaign (so far as I can glean) has ever been given one of them."

You know what's so amazing to me about our trolls? They really feel that we are just like them. That even after Sarah proves that she is the biological mother of Trig that we will continue to pursue this story. Yes, it will be very difficult for me to accept a birth certificate at this last hour but if it is certified by Fact-check.com to be legit (state seal in-tact etc.) and all the birth information matches Sarah's story then I, for one, will call it quits and will not continue to follow this story. I don't let FACTS get in the way of a good theory. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for our trolling idiots. Our President's birth certificate was proven to be legit by Fact-check.com as well as Hawaiian officials and the birthers (including Sarah Palin) still can't acknowledge the truth and continue to pursue a dead end story.
My bet is that we don't see a birth certificate anytime soon. I think someone is trying to get Patrick to tell what he knows. Hold your on, Patrick. You've got these donkeys by the tail.
Maybe Todd's on the scene because of Palin's depression?
Van Flein has certainly hitched his wagon to Palin's star. But by doing her bidding, he is damaging his professional reputation. He is presenting specious arguments. For example, when the book came out and was met with an unfavorable review, Van Flein said that Palin had exercised her first amendment right to set the record straight. It's as if he believes the first amendment gives a person the right to lie with impunity; that any criticism of the lie is a violation of the liar's rights. Carrie Prejean reacted in the same way when one of the morning interviewers asked whether she might be considered a hypocrite for presenting herself as Ms. Good while making a sex video.
Ohhhhhh.....another ethics violation filed against former governor palin and staff for partian politics on the job, emails. I just saw the headline...HuffPost!
Found this comment over at HuffPost, wanted to share:

I'm hurt, HuffPost. I worked hard on that comment, deleted 75 words for a really tight fit. Nothing bad, well, mentioned H/O/A/X...did it go s/p/l/a/t/?
I know I'm not right, too cold. I believe God blessed this country and its people with a republic, established to protect each inhabitant individually; a government of laws, and not men. A government established on liberal principles. Some of those principles were reflected in President Obama's speech at West Point; freedom of religion and love thy neighbor as thyself.
I watched the video and read the transcript of the Palins' wild ride. I saw photos that confirmed my initial reaction. Especially that photo of Palin standing next to Parnell on 03-14-08. Thank God for his blessings.
Palin's deception was caught in photo images; I do not believe in magic mirrors. Are all the photos fake? Even the 03-14-08 photo that was on Alaska's state website? I do not believe Palin to be the bio mother. And I see a baby being used for his uniqueness (How different from a circus character?) for political gain. A political prop to deceive to achieve. For all I know, a purposeful attempt to cause failure of a sitting President by using such a deception as a cloud. Watch out, another conspiracy theory, my bad.
Here's those photos, scroll down--

Great job, palingates, you're everywhere!
"We didn’t call out Obama"
And still Sarah refuses to address President Obama by the title he currently holds, while insisting that she be addressed by the title of the position that she quit. What a hypocrite.
It would be so easy for Sarah to make this all go away. Show us the BC. But that's not all. Show us the medical records from the pregnancy and the delivery. Produce a couple of nurses that were there who will swear under oath that that you gave birth to Trig. Unless your wonder-doctor did it by herself without any assistance.
I don't buy anything about how it's private matter.I had some things that happened during the birth of my first child that could potentially be embarrassing if the whole world knew. But if someone was questioning if I gave birth to that child on that day, I would show everyone and everyone irrefutable proof. The birth certificate and the hospital admission. Not to mention having my doctor and the nurses and the billing office and the insurance company back me up.
It should be a matter of pride on her part. What does she have to hide, after all?
"low-level lackeys" ... ? this from a lawyer? And on Facebook too? No letter. A Facebook post. Have these people no professionalism, no class?
Lawyer Tom is a hack and a tool.
Great job you and the other Alaskan bloggers are doing on calling out the Quitter on all her lies. Keep up the good work and it's obvious Sarah and Company do read your blogs. She says she's unaffected by all the negativity, yeah right, so why is she reading the blogs?
Alaska Certificate of Birth
Resulting in Stillbirth
In 2009, the Alaska State Legislature established a new certificate entitled Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth (Alaska Statute 18.50.235).
For any stillborn child in Alaska, the Bureau of Vital Statistics will issue a Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth (CBRS) upon the request of a parent named on a fetal death certificate. There must be a fetal death certificate on file with the Bureau Vital Statistics in order for a CBRS to be prepared. The CBRS is not proof of birth and may not be used to establish identity.
Thursday, on the Rusty Humphries radio show, Sarah Palin lied.
"I live in Wasilla and will have known Sarah Palin for 19 years, come February 2010. The doctor, Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, who wrote the letter Palin alludes to in the latter's statement, "you need to prove that he's your kid, which we have done" was one of my wife's doctors for both of our kids, and was both kids' pediatrician.
CBJ, as she was often called locally, was a very public fixture around Wasilla up to the time of Trig's birth. Our daughter attended ballet with one of CBJ's kids for years, and I often saw CBJ somewhere or another around Wasilla or Anchorage at least once a week for well over a decade. Between the time of Trig's birth - early 2008 - and the issuance of the election eve letter purported to be from her, CBJ was far less evident. Since the letter was issued, CBJ has been unavailable to comment on it or on any other matter related to Trig and Sarah Palin:"

I wouldn't be surprised if she did have an abortion.
Wow, "I Live in Wasilla."
What I mean is, "wow, that's interesting about CBJ."

The readers of this blog have been posting comments and links all day today asking for Trig's birth certificate. In fact they have been posting links to blogs and posts questioning Palin's version of Trig's birth for weeks now. They have done so on blogs such as Huffington Post, The Daily Kos, Politico, Politics USA, Digg and many, many others.
I stand in awe at the work that the readers here undertake purely of their own volition.
They supported Andrew Sullivan by commenting on his article in The Times and by emailing him.
They wrote emails to Fort Hood requesting that Sarah Palin be denied access to the base.
They warmly and humanely responded to Ann Strongheart's appeal for help in Nunam Iqua.
Many of the readers here at Palingates also support other blogs such as Immoral Minority and Bree Palin who are involved in the task of uncovering the fact that Sarah Palin is not the mother of Trig. It is a long and arduous task as any of the bloggers can tell you. While we bloggers may not agree on all the details we are united in revealing Palin's deception. We do so with the aid and support of all our readers, commenters, and watchers.
If you think that our readers give Sarah Palin too much attention then that is your right. I just happen to disagree with you. It's a cliche, but without the readers and their contributions both here and elsewhere, then the blogs and the bloggers would be nothing.
Do you get it now?
Sorry if commented already, but have you noticed she stirs things up a Friday? Must be following a plan, huh?
The nation is not helped by calumnious ad hominem attacks against Sarah Palin, matrilineal conspiracy theories, and aberrant notions of ethics.
And the nation is helped when the POTUS is attacked in a similar fashion?
Note to Palin's lawyer: GTFOH with that BS.
His client's big mouth wrote a check her shady ass can't cash.

So true...Gabe Gatto was supposed to take Bristol to the prom in 2007, but even then he wanted to back out of it.
Wonder why?
Thomas Van Flein is an attorney?
My goodness, but he personalizes the situation passionately for a man of the law.
But that's one of the defining characteristics of All-Things-Palin: passionate personalization.
She's the Hot MILF-y Drama Queen of the Right Wing.
Oh -- show us the birth certificate, Palin. Obama's already had his online. What mother wouldn't proudly display the official statement of her angel baby's first breath in open air?

Rep. Gatto is no small player in the Palin schemes. I am amazed he is ignored. It would have been worthwhile to be a fly on the wall at the Gatto house. Gabe makes the most sense.
Okay, anon. who says Rep. Gatto & the stillborn bill is important. Here is a theory: Bristol had a stillborn child in either late 2007 or early 2008. Gatto's son Gabe could have been the father, or maybe not.
We also know that Gatto has firefighter experience and is "in" or has control over Wasilla Fire Department. Thus, he can manipulate the investigations into the church file and the Dar Miller fire.
Now we need some more information and are relying on you to provide it. Thanks.
