Levi Johnston, Lori Tipton And Their “Business” at Mat-Su Hospital – And What Rex Butler Doesn’t Want To Go On the Record With… UPDATED

Guestpost by Patrick
patrick12344@yahoo.com
Anybody interested in Sarah Palin’s faked pregnancy with Trig has to deal with surprises from time to time. One of those surprises was the Vanity Fair article “”Me and Mrs. Palin” which appeared in the October issue of Vanity Fair and was “written by Levi Johnston” (it was based on an 16-hour-interview marathon that Levi Johnston had with Vanity Fair in preparation for the article).

The article in Vanity Fair left many observers from all sides of the political spectrum unhappy. For example, the Sarah-cultists at C4P released an angry “Levi the Liar” post the day the first facts became known over the internet, and in the New York Times, Gail Collins wrote about “The Revenge of Levi” and couldn’t hide her disappointment when she remarked: “For the first time in my life, I feel sympathy for Sarah Palin.”

Even our “brother in arms” Gryphen from “Immoral Minority was stunned and declared: “Essentially much of what Levi says in the article is in direct opposition to things I have learned over the last five months”, and his confusion was noticeable when he added: “I don't know what that means yet.”

Well, I also don’t know what this means yet, but what I do know is that a systematically executed analysis of the situation based on the facts is the only way forward.

There is one part in Levi’s article on which I would like to focus in this blogpost: Levi’s remarks about what happened on April 18, 2008, Trig Palin’s “official birth”.

According to Levi Johnston, Sarah Palin told her family that she was pregnant only “one or two days” before she revealed her well concealed secret to a stunned media on March 5, 2008. Then, on April 18, 2008, the following happened, according to Levi Johnston: “I was at the hospital when Sarah had the baby a little after six A.M. on April 18, 2008, two weeks before we told her we were pregnant.”

This sentence left some readers perplexed. Most people I know understood it in the way that Levi Johnston himself was physically present at the hospital at a little after six a.m. in the morning.

But can this really be true?

On the blogs, some commenters doubted that Levi had a good reason to be there at all that morning, given the fact that he was merely the boyfriend of the daughter of the baby’s mother.

As promised, I will try to look into the facts which are available to us. We actually have one person who went on the record regarding what happened on the morning of April 18, 2008 at Mat-Su hospital in Palmer, AK.

This person is Lori Tipton. She is a journalist with the Alaska TV-channel KTUU, and cannot be suspected of left-wing sympathies. On her facebook page, she openly declared that she is “a fan of Sarah Palin”, and she is the partner of Bob Lester, who is the co-host of the ultra right-wing Alaska radio program “The Bob and Mark Show” - which used to be one of Sarah Palin’s favourite radio programs. This radio show brought us an unforgettable insight into the type of humor that Sarah Palin enjoys, when Bob Lester described Sarah Palin’s then internal Republican rival, former Alaska Senator Lyda Green, as “nothing but a very jealous woman” and a “cancer” and a “bitch”. Sarah Palin herself couldn’t suppress a few girlie giggles – knowing very well that Lyda Green herself is a cancer-survivor.

Lori Tipton had been assigned to report for KTUU from Mat-Su hospital on the morning of 18th April, 2008.

She gave not only one, but two reports about what happened there that morning, and those reports are complimentary to each other.

Further to the above accounts, a while ago, I received an e-mail from a reader of PD which was written to her by Lori Tipton on September 22, 2008. The email had been written in response to a question that this reader had asked to Lori Tipton about Sarah’s pregnancy with Trig. There, Lori Tipton explained, after first mentioning how tight the HIPPA rules are: “Mat-Su hospital, where Gov Palin delivered, wouldn’t even confirm that she was a patient at the time of her delivery. We had to camp outside the entrance and wait for her family to walk by.”

Obviously, Lori Tipton was not at the Mat-Su hospital at six a.m. that morning. In the email she clearly says that they were waiting outside the hospital and that the family walked in at a later point. In her KTUU report she mentions that Sally and Chuck Heath “visited with their new grandson Friday afternoon”.

Interestingly, Lori Tipton was later interviewed by the “Daily Dish” in December of 2008 about what happened on the 18th April 2008.

Andrew Sullivan’s colleague Patrick Appel, who identified himself in this article as a “non-believer” in babygate (stating “I don't believe Sarah Palin is capable of pulling off such a cover-up”), quoted Lori Tipton as follows:

“Sarah [Palin] was in another room, and they said that she was sleeping when we arrived. And so, we got a little bit of footage of Sally [Heath] holding Trig, and Chuck [Heath] standing next to her. And Bristol [Palin] was in there, and I said to Bristol, "We should get some footage of you and your brother and your grandparents." And she’s like, "No I really don’t like to be photographed." And I said, "Are you sure?" And she’s like, "Yeah, yeah, no." And she didn’t have any make-up on or anything, but she was dressed in typical teenage attire, a tight shirt, low-cut jeans, you know, and we had heard the rumors before the delivery of this baby also, that Bristol was pregnant, and so, when my photographer and I got to the hospital and we saw her, I thought, well, clearly there’s no way that that girl just delivered a baby seven hours ago.”

Therefore, from this account we learn that Sarah’s parents Sally and Chuck Heath were present that afternoon (also documented through the pictures and the footage which was shown on KTUU) and according to Lori Tipton, Bristol Palin was also there.

So are we to believe that Levi was there at Mat-Su hospital before the rest of Sarah’s family?

Well – at the time of the interview with the Daily Dish in December 2008, Levi Johnston had already been a “national celebrity” for several months. Would Lori Tipton really have left him out from her description about who was there on that day?

I personally do not believe so because a common appearance of Bristol and Levi together in April 2008 at such an event would have been too spectacular for Lori Tipton not to mention when she was interviewed by the Daily Dish.

I therefore have to conclude that Levi Johnston was in fact not there in the afternoon together with the Palin family, but at six a.m. in the morning – unless we want to call Levi a liar. And I refuse to believe that Levi is a liar. What I do believe is that we have a cleverly written Vanity Fair article which allows us to read between the lines.

So, if Levi was present at the hospital at six a.m. that morning, despite the fact that the family only arrived later that day – what was he doing there so early? What was his function? I don’t have an answer to that – but it is a question that Levi or his handlers could and should answer.

However, one possible answer could be that he was “handing over the baby”. And that the Palin family had a vital interest that he would be “invisible” for the rest of the day, and therefore it’s very likely that he was sent home before the media arrived.

This leads me to the second part of the title of this blogpost.

This is a little bombshell. From a reliable source in Alaska who has first-hand knowledge, I know for a fact that Rex Butler, Levi Johnston’s attorney DOES NOT want to go on the record regarding the question of who Trig’s biological mother is, and in addition he said "he doesn't know for a fact" that Sarah Palin has given birth to Trig.

Especially for the readers of Palingates, I have obtained another snippet of information, which is properly sourced and documented, and which has never been reported anywhere so far to my knowledge. Many of you will probably remember that our friend Gryphen from Immoral Minority wrote in his famous “Splitsville” blogpost:

“I also learned that there was an incident back in the summer of 2008, before the McCain campaign officially tapped Sarah, where Todd Palin pulled a gun on Levi in a heated exchange concerning his relationship with Bristol. This news will be hitting the local papers here in town next week.”

Well – the reason why this “gun incident” didn’t hit “the local papers here in town” was that it was not confirmed by Levi, when he was confronted with it shortly after Gryphen’s blogpost had been published. In addition, with regard to the “gun incident”, Levi made a memorable comment which so far has also never been reported – he said exactly these words:

“If someone pulls a gun on me, they better use it.”

Have we seen the “real, honest, straightforward Levi” in this sentence?

Hopefully we'll never find out...

UPDATE

CC, Livvy, Naked Truth and others

Thank you very much for your input. The 18th April 2008 raises a lot of questions. Who alerted the journalists, and when? At which time in the morning did the journalists arrive at the hospital? Etc.

Even more questions raises Sarah Palin's official schedule from the 18th April, 2008, and this is one piece of evidence which I didn't mention in the blogpost. The schedule was obtained through a FOIA request, and this page can be viewed here:

http://tinyurl.com/luab5z

On the top of the schedule for the 18th April 2008 it says:

“Bristol: Interview Assistance Set Up w/KTUU (Wasilla)
GOV: Interview w/KTVA and ADN (ANC)
Todd: Interview w/KBYR (Wasilla)
Trig's Birth
WASILLA”

What does "Interview Assistance" with Bristol and KTUU mean? And I have never ever seen interviews by Sarah Palin or Todd Palin which were conducted on that day!

When were these appointments which are mentioned in the schedule set up? How did people know that the premature DS-baby would have been "fit" to be presented to the public at the day of his birth?

Sarah and Todd gave a press conference about the birth only three days later - the link for the audio to download is in Regina's special babygate resources on the right-hand side of Palingates. The statements in the press conference ("I didn't look so far along", said Sarah - despite of the famous Gusty-picture with her massive belly) also raised a lot of additional questions.

We are not conspiracy theorists. I am personally not even interested in conspiracy theories. All I am dealing with since November 2008 are facts - and the facts DO NOT ADD UP.

Nobody should be in doubt here that this investigation will continue until the truth has finally been revealed.

I would like to thank everybody for the participation in this great discussion and - for the first time in the history of Palingates - the magic mark of 200 comments for one blogpost has been hit!

I am sure that Regina is as thrilled as we are that there is such a great discussion going on! :-)

if you want to get a story out there, but msm won't carry it, you can take a page from the republican party and initiate a whisper campaign.

you get email addresses of the republican party (a number of sources fro this- WND newspaper is one such source- buy their readership addresses_) and then you mail out email after email with the "would you be concerned if ...would you judge a...do you think a woman can be a good mother if she...." etc. You are asking questions, not stating "facts".

It's ugly, but apparently very effective. Ask john McCain about that.

Anonymous said...

So, what are the "dark" secrets being alluded to here??

Anonymous said...

as far as MSM goes, questions could be asked of babygate, like they ask questions of Orly Taitz, but Palin isn't in the news anymore, so she's old news.

Wait until she hits the news again in a relevant way.

Wow! I just came back from shopping and saw Patrick's comment. A happy first for palingates...

About other blogs and what they cover or decide not to cover: there's room for everybody. If we all wrote about exactly the same stuff, it would get a bit boring, eh?

I don't see blogging as a popularity contest and we write about things we feel comfortable with, complementing each other.

I'm grateful to this Sarah Palin trainwreck for the good friendships I made with people from all over the US, Alaska and elsewhere.

One way or another, we're inching towards discrediting this woman and preventing her from running for office again. It's a group effort and we each contribute according to our strengths and preferences.

Cheers!

what about Geraldo! :D
Yes he is on Fox 5 .. but the last episode I watched (the only one I have since the election as it is Fox 5..) he wasn't very Palin friendly

and he does seem to like those stories that noone else touches

Pro Choice G ..you are right about Palin's zipped lips "no comment" when her son went off to war

I thought she would of been shouting the story with praise for all to hear..

Now .. given War does mean death.. the sad reality, perhaps she is human and didn't want to talk about it

But.. then Levi mentioning she sent him off against Todd's wishings and that caused a major argument... and the whole vandelism thing..

Karen said...

To anon 19:11: question about dark secret involved. Some have suggested possible consanguinity, which I think means the baby has blood related parents. Not really sure, & it may not be true. Obviously, this would be scandalous & perhaps could have been the reason for the hoax.

Your post listed this:

TRIG PAXSON VAN PALIN, born to Sarah Louise and Todd Mitchell Palin of Wasilla on April 18. He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces.

Did you sneak that in there? Can you send a link to the original please?

Lilybart said...

Yes to Truth: I don't want to help Romney, but, maybe someone like Patrick should send them a package of photos and timelines and the most curious pieces of evidence, like the scrubbed photos and videos from jan -april 08, and the fact that the family would not cooperate in a story to dispel rumours.

I bet Romney's people could shake down the ADN and get and answer or an incriminating non-answer.

Lilybart said...

I understand the poster who said that with Levi being paid off, it might be years or never before we know....but I disagree.

Keeping the pressure on WILL shake something loose, then it only takes one person. Once someone says something, others will say, ok, it is out so I can talk too.

My hope anyway.

midnight cajun 17:34, Until now, I didn't think much about that Sarah gesture, the way she is touching Levi. I would never have touched my daughters' boyfriends that way. Hell, I would never touch my son-in-law that way.

But Sarah does not know what appropriate behavior is. Remember the report that she greeted reporters during the convention wearing nothing but her towel, having come directly from the bathroom.

She didn't even realize or feel the suggestive nature of her father stroking her (pawing her) after McCain's concession speech. We know that Sarah does not sense how people around her react; she just plows right on through. I wonder when she is alone with her thoughts (I'm assuming that maybe she actually thinks about things), I wonder if she thinks how that tight little outfit is going to look at a memorial service. Or how it looks when she heaved Trig around like a sack of potatoes?

I think that the Levi gesture was a power thing; watch your step kid, this is the big time and I have ways of keeping you in line. If they dragged him away from hunting, put him in the fancy suit and stuck him on the stage, they could also make him walk, talk and say what they wanted. Maybe he is lucky that she didn't turn out to be his mother-in-law. Especially if father-in-law's way of talking was down the barrel of a gun.

Have you been in touch w "jibegod"?... It's apparent that he is not going to any lengths to keep his identity anonymous... he's all over the internet... was wondering if you had pursued that line in AK and what came of it? nuttin I guess since you haven't mentioned it.

Seems curious though... if I could find him that easily on the net, you obviously did, why nothing more has come out from him. Whats up with that?

There is another means of communication which is very powerful- YouTube. Because they have so many entries, there has to be something very special about the video to make it go viral.

I remember a few summers ago when George Allen, VA was considered a serious presidential candidate. He was handsome, and well in the lead in his Virginia election. Then, he attacked a kid taking video of him and we had the famous "macaca moment." Within three days, he was toast.

We need a video like that on YouTube. Bree Palin did one some time back. The visual message that is stunning is Sarah's flat stomach weeks before "giving birth." If someone is good with that medium, we are not limited to the traditional means of getting stories out.

I had contacted "jibegod" in the past through various methods, but he never responded to me. I guess it is another case of this "I-am-afraid-to-say-more-Alaska-syndrome" which we have seen numerous times in the past.

i'm sorry but i do not see him giving her eye contact.. it looks like he is looking at her forehead ... see how low her eyes are? like where the glasses sides are.. draw a line from his eyeballs to her eyes! whatever! :D

maybe im just blind

him not giving eye contact to me shows his disrespect for her which he's mentioned
though this photo could of been taken as his eyes shifted.. if he was making eye contact in this photo .. it is quite squeamish

I agree, Sarah doesn't do things appropriately.. like the bathroom towel incident.. that is just plain gross
now maybe if she were ali larter! :D

but think the red sandles and pencil skirt above her knees while on stage changing shoes?

she could of at least moved to the side of the stage.. or took a chair

Anything would be more modest then front center stage.. being 4 ft taller than everyone else.. in a shortish skirt bending all the way over to take off her sandals..

the panty lines in her skirt at the Debate.. ok fine she chunked up a bit but that is a National Debate.. they could of easily brought her one size up if the one she had on was snug
No.. she knew she had panty lines
Yes they were Bloomer panty lines..
the ole girl didnt do the thong thing
but still .
that is just gross

Its one thing to be sexy and a tease..but to do things purposely it turns offensive

Just thought forever we were trying to find something mentioning his birth and here it was all along..
so is this an official birth announcement? or is the one we were looking for to be on the hospital website itself?

Lori Tipton said in her email, “Mat-Su Hospital, where Gov Palin delivered, wouldn’t even confirm she was a patient at the time of her delivery. We had to camp outside the entrance and wait for her family to walk by.”

For one thing, how would Lori Tipton know Sarah was giving birth at the Mat-Su Hospital at 6:00 am if the hospital wouldn’t even confirm Sarah was a patient? If a Palin family member made a call to Lori to tell her Sarah had given birth, then why did KTUU need to camp out at the entrance of the hospital? Wouldn’t the family member who tipped Lori off made sure KTUU had permission/clearance to enter the hospital to do an interview?

Most of Lori’s statements while doing the interview revolve around Bristol & dispelling the rumor that she was pregnant? The only time she mentions Sarah is to say that when KTUU arrived, Sarah was in another room sleeping. So Lori Tipton never saw Sarah that day. Did I see Sarah’s calendar correctly for April 18, 2008? Bristol was helping KTUU set up for an interview. Wow, this whole “interview” looks to be something that was planned and set-up in an effort to dispel the rumors that Bristol was pregnant in 2007/2008!

State of Alaska would probably issue Trig a birth certificate based on the notice in the Frontiersman, assuming that notice is from hospital records.

I also appreciate the other bloggers! They live in Alaska and if I were them I'd be petrified of Scarah!! I think Gryphen wants this out as much as anyone. Scarah knows how to cover her tracks!!

Why don't we focus on what we can DO to bring this out instead of what others don't do. I have also tried to write at other websites about this. I wrote Huffington and asked why they don't allow mention of babygate and I got no answer. I also wrote Geoffrey Dunn on one of his articles at huffington and it wasn't published. I don't know if he got it. We just have to all keep trying. Ms Scarah thinks it will go away- I don't think so. Americans deserve the truth and I also want to know if McCain knew about this and other lies and STILL chose her!!!!

So will Scarah show her new face in Hong Kong?? Or will she be a no show. My bet is she will show and wear sunglasses outside of the actual room she is speaking in. I also betcha someone will secretly be recording it and taking photos.

Sammy and DNC: I don't know where you guys live. I live in a large city that has an element of society that Tony Soprano might hang around with. (Trying not to say too much here).

Let's just say that one of their group is involved in a crime. No matter how many witnesses there were, guess how many people will testify against them in court- the answer is none.

There is an unspoken law among the teen gangs who wannabe like the tough guys. There can be twenty witnesses to a drive by shooting and no one saw a thing.

So please do not call Audrey a quitter. She had volunteered to look into Sarah Palin's questionable "birth" of Trig. She refused to accept payment for the time she spent, even though posters offered.

Some of the threats involved her husband's job (I think he is a doctor). Now, you are also putting all of his patients at risk, the people who work with him, it doesn't stop. His loss would affect numbers of people on a life or death basis. She has every right to protect his job and his life.

They may have also threatened her with the kind of violent acts that women have a hard time recovering from. Imagine hearing footsteps behind you when you unload the groceries, go for a job, walk in an unfamiliar neighborhood. That's not quitting; that's being careful.

The same nasty bloggers who threatened Audrey did cause another blogger to lose his job. They falsely accused him of things that would forever prevent him from getting work in his chosen field.

Tony Soprano (a fictional character on TV) enforced his threats by beating his victims bloody, by cutting off fingers, breaking kneecaps. Are you guys really going to risk that kind of treatment or allow that kind of threat against you family? Most people don't. They protect themselves. Don't be so quick to judge why a person chooses to protect himself/herself.

I don't know what Audrey is doing today. I hope that she is safe. I hope that she turned all of the threats over to the FBI. I hope that she is secretly and quietly continuing her work in a way that we don't know about. Who knows, she might even be an anonymous comments person right here. Maybe the cloak of anonymity is just what she needs right now to be most effective. She was pretty fearless for more than a year.

When people lie, there are parts of the lie that are the truth.

Someone above posted Trig's birth announcement in the paper. Here's what I think was the truth: The date, April 18, 2008. The rest, mother, father and weight, were not true.

The weight had to be adjusted because Trig was suppose to be five weeks early. Months ago I posted over at PD that I thought Bristol got P.G. the end of July when her mother was in Kuwait.

This would tie in perfectly with the April 18th date only she probably was a few days early. Hence, the 4:00 a.m. call from Dr. CBJ telling Sarah while she was in Texas, that Bristol was in labor.

Why does everyone think Trig was premature? Isn't it possible Bristol gave birth to a 7 lb.+ baby that was full term and healthy except for the D.S.?

Remember, she was out-of-sight until the end of April. She is a young, pretty girl who likes to party. Now, she hides away because of the campaign and all the publicity. But back then, it wasn't necessary.

Oops! She does show up on occasion with the two babies in the double stroller. That, plus Levi giving interviews, is suppose to double convince us that Sarah had Trig and Bristol birthed Tripp.

People have asked me, "where did Tripp come from?" Well, read the post above about Dr. CBJ. Or, was he adopted? I don't know.

This is just food for thought because I know most people want to massage the dates and make room for both babies. The Palin's are banking on that...

For those of you who think I'm a troll, I was known as Lucy on the Mudflats forum.

How are people who know what other bloggers (e.g. Shannon, AKM, etc.) should blog about, and judge them for the lack of _______ in not talking about babygate, any better than Rethuglicans who think they know what we should think and do?
I can think of good reasons not to blog about babygate, and I follow the story despite myself. I'm beginning to see there may be a sufficiently nefarious story to be of political interest, but initially I thought of all the things SP did that I hated, this wasn't one of them. I know people (well, my sister's roommate knows people) who adopted their child's daughter and passed the child off as their own (which in fact he was after the adoption). Whether keeping it secret was good for the children is a tough decision - but not my decision and not my children. There was no nefarious intent. And many on the block knew and ignored it and just cared for the children.
We've had other people who were good leaders and bad parents. We've had vice-versa. I think SP falls into the bad leader, bad parent category, but my concern in voting is for the leadership category, not parenting. And yes, I know she lied about it. Leaders have been lying about their personal lives for decades. And of all the ways SP has demonstrated she's a hypocrit and violated "family values," adopting a baby probably isn't one of them.
I'll probably continue to follow the story despite myself. But spreading the idea that there is a correct response to this story, and that others should blog about it and ignore whatever consequence may exist in their mind, and harshly criticize others who do not agree about whether they should write about it or not, reduces the credibility of the judger in my eyes, and reduces the free exchange of ideas that we like to think we are better about.
We all have our gifts. We all have our interests and talents. We all have our demons. We shouldn't be expounding on how others should be using their gifts, interests and talents.

It's possible that Trig is the son of Levi and Bristol, and that when they found out that he had Downs and they learned how expensive that would be and realized that they could not provide for the baby like the grandparents could that they let the grandparents adopt the baby. So, everyone acted in the best interests of the baby.

regina said...

Anon@23:50,

It would have been OK if Sarah Palin had simply adopted the baby. Why pretend to be pregnant? Why use Trig to further her anti-choice agenda? Why use him as a prop?

The adoption is not the problem, the deception is.

I don't know if this helps, but when I was legally adopted by my stepfather a new birth certificate was issued for me with the date of the adoption - and I was 12 years old at the time. This reflected a legal change in my name. This was in Colorado, so I don't know if it works the same in Alaska but I would think so. I know they have never produced a birth certificate, but even if they did and the birthday was the April 18th date it should not automatically be accepted as the original birth certificate. Just a thought...

Just for the record, I did not mention Audrey in any of my posts nor was I referring to her. I mentioned only the Alaskan bloggers because I wondered why they are silent about this very important topic. The soprano analogy is a good one-gryphen is very brave then. I like that he at least took a stand -he is to be admired for trying. I just don't get the silence of the others -that is all I said. I said to me it is weak and cowardly and seems to be about what others think of them. That is not maligning the rest of what they do it isn't and I have a right to say that in a respectful way. I like all they do except for their silence on this as if it is a dirty topic. They take a stand on every thing but this I just did not understand why. The Soprano theory could be right or maybe they just do not believe in babygate. Most people do not . We are the exception but for me this is the gate about her that is the most bothersome to me.

was no way for them to crosscheck because my son was born at home and I did not apply for an official birth certificate until several days later. I did have the form the midwife filled out but was not asked for it or for any other form of verification.

The saying, "We don't care HOW they do it Outside!" may apply here . . .

Here is a link to a story about a woman in Palmer who, begining as a child, was sexually abused by her caretaker/guardian over many years. As a teenager, she had two children due to his sexual abuse.

(does this sound like the case of the psychopath who kidnapped the 11 year old girl and abused her over 18 years, kept her in his backyard, etc.?)

Anyway, the state of Alaska knew about it, her school knew about it but NO ONE DID ANYTHING! Even now, they won't comment on it "we don't talk about individual cases" bullsh!t excuse.

http://www.ktva.com/video?bcpid=1641243975&bclid=1632695727&bctid=1761990935

This is another example showing Alaska to be in the dark ages on caring for abused children and women. No wonder SP can get away with SO MUCH in this environment. No wonder so much is hidden in the hoax.

I know some Alaskans don't like it when we condemn their treatment of women and children, but with the system totally failing like in the example on the KTVA story, how can we think otherwise?

I am anon 23:12, and I owe you an apology, DNC. I just read Sammy's comment, berating Audrey for not bravely writing her blog in spite of threats to her and her family. I admit that when I read that you agreed with her, I took it to mean that. Sorry to lump you in with Sammy.

I think the reason that some Alaska bloggers do not touch Babygate is because they do not want to compromise their credibility. They have worked hard to get some of their columns posted on Huffington (AKM, Shannyn, for example), and they think that if they do Babygate, they will lose their access. It is their decision not to write about Palin's children. They have plenty of subject matter about Sarah without injecting the children in there. (I am not defending them; I am just giving you my thinking on the subject). I think that they want to be taken seriously, as credible writers and that is why they don't touch Babygate.

Other bloggers do write about Sarah's children, that is also their choice. I am trying to remember the delicate balance that Audrey had when she first started writing last year. Maybe Patrick can set me right on this matter. I think that Bristol was not in the equation until she turned 18 years old last October. Other people suggested Willow as a possible parent for Trig, and it was just not pursued, no evidence at all.

When Audrey first started writing, her attention was focused on The Wild Ride. Then, pictures started pouring in, showing Sarah with a flat stomach weeks before Trig's April "birth date." When minor children were included in a picture, they had a fuzzy circle placed on their face to avoid identification.

Some of Audrey's readers began to read Alaska teens' face book or my space posts. When people began to write about the wild teen parties that involved drinking, drugs and sex, that too was an issue that Audrey was very careful to write about. It was only written about to show the atmosphere in which a a teen could easily become pregnant.

I appreciate the fact that this is an open forum and people are free to express their opinions. We will never all agree on everything. But, I think that it is important to keep the conversation going. Some day, somebody is going to write a tidbit that just puts it all together. At least we hope so.

Not too long ago, Gryphen made a comment in his own comments section, commenting to Morgan that he (Gryphen) didn't want a link to a certain blogger and that he (Gryphen) thought that Audrey was OK and working on something. There was no comment from Morgan, so I thought Gryphen must have deleted her comment. Then Morgan put some stuff up on PD that Audrey had been silenced. I am not so sure about that. From Gryphen's comment to Morgan, I got the impression that Morgan didn't know what was going on with Audrey.

Normal Baby at 35 Weeks Justation: Baby measures about 20.25 inches from head to toe and weighs more than 5.5 pounds. Lungs are almost fully developed, but if born now the baby would probably be put in an incubator. It still doesn't have enough fat deposits beneath its skin to keep warm outside your womb.

Down’s Syndrome Baby’s Stature: babies with Down syndrome are usually smaller and weigh less at birth than others. Children tend to grow more slowly and are commonly smaller than other children their age.

Trig was born prematurely at 35 weeks with Down’s syndrome and weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz. Hummm! He seemed to be of above average weight & health for a newborn Down’s syndrome baby. I thought Down’s syndrome babies grew more slowly & were smaller than other children their age? Did you see how well he has grown since his birth? He is huge!

Also, if your baby is 5 weeks premature it will take 5 weeks for them to “catch-up” to what a full term baby looks like as far as size & development. So if Trig was born 5 weeks early on April 18, 2008, he would look premature until he was 40 weeks old or “full term”. So Trig would not look like a full term baby until May 23, 2008 or maybe even later because of his DS.

I just cannot get over how big & healthy Trig looked when he was presented to the public by Todd & Sarah, April 21, 2008. He didn’t look premature at all!

Sarah Palin is the worst mother in the world.

No good mother - much less a Family Values mother like me - would allow her children and family to undergo the absolutely incredible amount of speculation that has gone on for over a year now. Consanguinity? Oh my!

Yet she could have made all the crazy talk go away a long time ago in seconds by just showing her pregnancy care records and birth docs for Trig. It really is that easy.

It is truly shameful that she would allow all of this to continue for so long. Just shameful.

After all, all she did was give birth to Trig Palin. Not hard to prove something like that and make all the crazy people go away!

Regarding discussion above about other bloggers not touching babygate: Just remembered that AKM & Shannyn Moore contribute to Huffington Post at times. Perhaps this is related to their choice of topics. Huff Po may have certain stipulations.

But there were ominous signs—indications of an erratic nature. This is the third thing McCain could have discovered about Palin—a woman, after all, who kept a pregnancy secret for seven months, flew all the way home from Texas to Alaska with a near-full-term baby while leaking amniotic fluid, and then finally drove the 45 minutes from Anchorage to a hospital in Wasilla, all so that the child could be born in the 49th state.

I can understand why she might want to keep her daughter's pregnancy secret, but why her own???

Karen said...

To anon 1:52: I agree with you, it is shameful that Sarah has let this go on so long. For her to even consider the VP nomination under such circumstances, seems unreal. You know, questions about baby Trig & who the actual parents are. She actual thought she could hoodwink all of America with her lies, & that makes me so mad.

Lisa K said...

Karen, it really makes me mad too. I have seen her time and time again look right into the camera and lie. Anyone who can do that with a smile and so easily is a psychopath.
Also doing this to children, using them for her own ambitions - she makes me sick to my stomach.

Jess Sayin said...

Whew! What a read! And so much more information to get sidetracked by. A-D-D: blessing or curse?

Going back to Sarah's schedule for April 18:

There is something else I noticed. Why would her schedulers put Sarah down for an interview in Anchorage on the day she 'gave birth"?

Whuh? Ladies, I don't know about you, but I can tell you I would not want to hop in a car and ride for an hour each way just to give an interview.

A decent news organization doesn't ask sources to come to them. It would be considered laughable and lazy!

And then Todd is scheduled to hold down the interview fort in Wasilla?

That's just the icing on top of the strange entry about Bristol.

Here is another question: Was there anyone from the Governor's office running interference at Mat-Su Regional on April 18th?

And now to another subject popping up on the thread regarding an earlier birth date for Trig.

There was a poster called Misty from Anchorage who once contributed a bunch of info to Audrey's blog.

She claimed to have personally seen Bristol in January of 08 at a hockey game in Anchorage and said Bristol did not look pregnant.

I wasn't able to find her post, but if my memory serves, I believe that Misty said she also saw Bristol up close and personal at one point later that winter.

I have read other sources that firmly put Bristol at Anchorage West High school during the winter of 2008. No one has ever denied that. Wouldn't you think that a pregnant governor's daughter would have been the source of a whole bunch of rumors?

We do know what we don't know which is Bristol's whereabouts are unaccounted for between October through December 2007. We do know she was not at Wasilla High nor was she enrolled in school in Juneau.

We do know from many sources that Bristol ended up in Anchorage by January to live with her Aunt.

My gut tells me that Bristol was there because the baby was at Providence Hospital which has the only facility to deal with preemies in the area.

Anonymous said...

I was pregnant when I was in my third year of medical school. Although slim, nobody knew I was expecting at nearly 7 months gestation. My training work hours were brutal and meals were obtained on the fly.

My OB doc scolded me that my baby was small for gestational age and it was way past time to change my schedule to an easier clinical rotation. Within a month, my baby had nearly caught up with expected weight and people were shocked by my "advanced" pregnancy.

I delivered a full term baby weighing 7lbs 7oz. Why mention this? It's not surprising that Palin could have disguised an underweight baby for as long as she did. According to the birth announcement in the paper, Trig only weighed 6lbs 2oz at brith. The fact that Trig is also a Down's baby also goes along more with a 43 yo mother.

Sorry. Intrigue is interesting but facts are facts.

More perplexing to me is why Palin would allow such nonsensical theories and speculation to proliferate when she could easily produce a birth certificate. My only conclusion is that she's cynically deriving secondary gain as a politician from the continued publicity.

Anonymous said...

Anon@4:08 - you must be new here. If so, welcome. Please take the time to look through all the pictures from 2008. Palin goes up and down before giving birth--she doesn't get big and stay that way.

Anonymous said...

I am 5'8 and was 122lbs when I got pregnant.. I went through computer school and graduated a month before my due date

The day we were all packing up and saying our goodbyes (May 25th) Due date was end of June
I was commenting to one friend
"I can't believe in one month I am going to have a baby"

Another guy in the class came up to me and was like You are Pregnant???

So at 7 months I was pretty well hid though I didnt do it on purpose.. I just didnt wear body hugging things.. big bold shirts (early 90's it was still hip) a black vest, black leggings and black suede boots

BUT... once June hit.. I ballooned.. I waddled..

Palin is a joke.. the photo of her with the tight black top under the jacket.. the main cincher photo (with the little girl)..
Had I been wearing a spandex type top, even at 6 months.. you would see a pumpkin in my gut

She just seems to have a "belly roll" like she got a little fat

I still say.. as interesting as this and other blogs are when new things come up.. I want the "truth" to stay underwraps until AFTER she writes that book

If things hit the fan this winter.. and her book isn't out til spring

She has time to crisscross stuff off with her pen like a mad hatter..
I can see her devoting a chapter to "explain things"

Oh. but what could I do? It was such a difficult time for me(victim)
I was so scared for Bristol (caring mother)
I didn't want to hide things.. that is so against my grain... but I sucked it up and went through with the plan as it was the best for all involved .. and was determined to deal with the consequences .. and backlash (dang media and pesky bloggers) should that day arise..

blah blah blah blah

So keep a searching and get this thing to blow.. but don't release it until after her book

How great would it be for her memoire to be published in print.... for her story of how beautiful her family is.. and that whole chapter devoted to denouncing the pro choice movement by her heart wrenching "choice" to continue her Trig pregnancy .. and how she had to adjust.. how she had to do this .. poor poor her..

let that all come out in print ..
and then let THIS come out

I think the impact we are all trying to obtain.. will be so much stronger

Anon again.. the 5'8 girl that was prego ..
I was also 21 and this was my first child
and I wasnt a muscle bound woman.. I hate exercise.. but I was a walker and a waitress.. killer legs. I was "toned"

(44 yr old 5th child and she wasnt always very fit looking..I dont care how much she "runs" )

Thanks a lot for your interesting comment!

I hope that I don't come across as overly critical, but there are two points I would like to make:

You said

"Wouldn't you think that a pregnant governor's daughter would have been the source of a whole bunch of rumors?"

I am a bit surprised by your statement, because it should be clear to everyone who has followed this discussion during the last months that there was not just a "bunch", but a whole "ground-swell" of rumors in Alaska regarding the faked pregnancy.

You also say

"We do know from many sources that Bristol ended up in Anchorage by January to live with her Aunt."

Well, this is our assumption, and I believe it, too, but I would like to add that this cannot be regarded as "confirmed" information at this point. There is still a big mystery surrounding the fact when exactly Bristol Palin lived with Heather Bruce in Anchorage. This has never been properly explained anywhere.

Has anyone here access to the school yearbook of Anchorage West High from 2007/2008? That could be very helpful.

Patrick said...

Very sorry...it was not "Anon", but "Jess Sayin" at 03:58 I was responding to.

4Truth said...

Patrick,

Bristol would not be listed in the West High School yearbook. If you are not a senior, all underclassmen get their yearbook photos taken at registration in early August or if they missed registration, they offer photo retakes around the second week of school (early september).

My understanding is that Bristol transfered schools in late fall 2007, so I doubt she would be listed. But hey, It's worth a shot!

EyeOnYou said...

For all those who are saying that all Sarah needs to do in order to dispell this is to produce a birth certificate that wouldn't help, especially if she has legally adopted Trig.

I am legally adopted and on my birth certificate, the one that is on file, it shows my adoptive parents listed as my parents and there is no indication on that birth certificate that I am adopted. Now mine was through an adoption agency, so my "file" is sealed under court order (no one, not even I or my biological parents can access it without an order from the court) but I am betting that a Palin adoption would be a private affair, or even "rigged" to look like Sarah had actually given birth, so getting a copy of the birth certificate on record is not going to do anything to prove Sarah is not the mother of that child.

Anonymous said...

What makes some of you think Audrey at PD is a quitter and is no longer working on this? I think you might be surprised.

Anonymous said...

About the request for Trig's birth certificate: Some time ago, Audrey suggested that in Alaska, some facts cannot be changed on the birth certificate- date and place of birth. Of course the adoptive parents are the only ones listed along with whatever name was chosen for the baby. But, if the PD reasoning was that Trig was born earlier than the stated April 18 birth date, that could not be changed on the revised-for-adoption birth certificate. Sarah has yet to produce it because it may not match the story that she has been telling. Of course by now, any skilled graphic designer or photo shop expert could print up something for her, but it hasn't happened yet, wonder why? Could it be that previously photoshopped pictures were detected??

This is one point that made no sense. Rather than humiliate her 17 year old pregnant daughter in front of a national audience and drag an uncomfortable Levi onto the national campaign trail, all she had to do was produce some hospital records and release the attending doctor from any confidentiality situation. On the other hand, once she shows us that she did in fact give birth to Trig, that she did in fact have the world's most remarkable abs, and that she only milked the story for the free publicity-- then we will have nothing to write about. She can't have that- not write about Sarah- just be sure to spell her name correctly.

ProChoiceGrandma said...

Truth @ 6:30, it is true that a birth certificate would show the adoptive parents as the parents, but it could NOT change the DATE of birth. THAT is why Sarah cannot produce Trig's birth certificate. It will show that he was NOT born on 4-18-08, therefore she cannot be his birth mother.

Dar Miller and house fire:

The dogs, being far smaller than Dar, even if they were large dogs, would be overcome by the poisonous gasses produced in a fire, much more quickly than she was. BASIC FIRE SAFETY RESEARCH WILL SHOW YOU THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Just because there was NO mention of Dar in connection to the Palin's DOES mean there was NO connection ! To suggest that because there was NO known connection between Dar and Palin does not mean there wasn't any is, while technically true, totally nonsensical and illogical when that argument is used to try and support a wild guess that there WAS a connection.

Look people, I firmly believe Palin had something to do with her church fire, I have supported that perception many times and wont do it again here, but IT IS A PERCEPTION AND I DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SAY IT IS A FACT. When others attempt to show that there is a logical sequence --even while admitting there is no KNOWN connectin between Dar and Palin--simply because Dar worked at the hospital Trig was supposedly born in, it is, and excuse me, but just plain stupid and shows the writer has NO criticle thinking skills.

This pisses me off because this is the type of wild guessing, lack of logic, lack of rational thought process that C4P and their ilk use to support their "theories."

I do not believe Palin is mother to Trigg. I really despise this narcissistic woman, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO BE FAIR IN DISCUSSING HER.

Just because you WANT Palin to have a connection to Dar so you can SPECULATE THAT THERE IS "MURDER" GOING ON, is not a responsible mature reason to put such garbage forth.

And yes, it is garbage. Garbage thinking and it makes progressives and antiPalin commenters look just as ignorant and uneducated and trailer trashy as the C4P

Stupid, illogical, irrational, wild guessing is how bullshit gossip gets started and it is MORE wrong for those of us who purport to care more about the truth to indulge in such crap.

THE TRUTH IS WHAT MATTER HERE, NOT WHILE IGNORANT GUESSING WITH ABSOOLUTELY NO BASIS TO SUPPORT THAT GUESSING.

To put it bluntly, it is EVIL to try and put forth that kind of no logic, irrational speculation. It is what the Teabaggers etc are dong and it is wrong no matter what side of the argument you are on.

If the shoe fits, wear it.

If the shoe doesn't fit, then DON't wear it.

THere are WHACKOS on "our" side of the fence too and I will call them out when I see them just as I would call out a C4P'er.

Grow up and stop the crap. There is enough that Palin is legitimately guilty of. THERE IS JUST NO NEED FOR THIS KIND OF IRRESPONSIBLE CRAP. IF I WANT TO READ THAT I WILL GO TO A PROPALIN, ANTIOBAMA SITE.

Hi Onejrkitty,

I know that wild speculation can detract from our cause. But just because something is unpleasant does not make it untrue.

Just because you have not seen a link between Dar Miller and Palin does not mean there is none and we should not look for one. And there is evidence, particularly a comment made several months before indicating a Mat-Su nurse had received money and was afraid for her life.

I'm not insisting that we know anything for a fact, but take a look at this post I made a while back on Gryphen's blog:

Shayfray said...

Re: the fire

A while back I was researching the fire angle and convinced myself I'd gone off the deep end. I mean, faking a pregnancy was one thing but murder and arson? And to have a fire department involved. That seemed too unseemly for even Sarah Palin.

Now that I look back, it seems there might be something there. I'm not saying concrete evidence but enough to make you go hmmm.

1) As early as september 2008 someone wrote a comment in the initial vanity fair trig timeline article,

"I heard the key was a large payment to a nurse at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, who was very worried about her safety. "

http://www.vanityfair.com/online/politics/2008/09/the-authoritative-trig-palin-conspiracy-time-line.html

http://www.politicalbase.com/profile/Sue%20Deaunym/

2) A few months later Darlene Miller, Mat-Su nurse with neonatal training and experience, died in a fire. What I found suspicious about the death is that the fire started on the first floor and her 2 dogs didn't make it out? I can understand if someone was intoxicated and could not wake up to get out (as they claimed, could she have been drugged?), but animals are usually pretty resilient. Were they trapped inside somehow?

http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/matsu/story/653001.html

3) Then there is the Wasilla Church fire that remains unsolved. If it was really an attack on Palin, why is she so quiet about it? If there was any evidence it was a hate crime she would be blasting "dangerous, terrorist liberals". Remember the statements denouncing bloggers who had desecrated "iconinc" images by photoshopping a pic of her and trig. Or the outrage she expressed at David Letterman's joke.

Sometimes Palin's silence speaks volumes. She is eerily silent about things she seems to not want to call attention to.

4) The Mat-Su fire chief was replaced in 2007 after several suspicious allegations, including the claim he was "interfering with a trooper investigation".

http://www.ktuu.com/Global/story.asp?S=6256602

http://www.firerescue1.com/labor-issues/articles/243945-Alaska-fire-chief-suspended-after-complaints/

Assistant chief Andrew Keenan took over for Krill in the interim. Keenan was one of the mat-su unit that responded to the Darlene Miller (neonatal nurse) fire and gave many quotes about it to the paper.

Keenan was only "acting fire chief" and James Steele took over as far as I can tell. The same James Steele that reports about the Church Fire.

5) The Mat-Su Fire Department received a considerable amount of state and federal money for services and new equipment.

http://www.centerforinvestigativereporting.org/tags/sarahpalin

This included a million dollar new fire truck that does not seem like the best use of resources for a small community fire department.

http://www.frontiersman.com/articles/2009/03/13/local_news/doc49b9fdeb772c4302835418.txt

From this info I think one could conclude that Sarah has influence with the Fire Department in Wasilla. They received MILLIONS of state and federal money. Was a nurse murdered? Were documents destroyed in the Church fire? That's less clear but at least worthy of consideration.

I understand if onejrkitty's concerned about us being perceived as wingnuts. I too think it's important to try to keep the focus on facts and not go off into hypothesizing about wild theories. But it doesn't feel like that about Dar Miller - I mean, it's worth at least looking into it. If there's no connection, there's no connection. We're not searching for Kenyan birth certificates here, you know?

One more thought. I'm uncomfortable with speculating about incest. I really think we should focus only on proving that Sarah Palin was not pregnant in Spring 2008, and let the rest sort itself out.

I found this comment by Dangerous. He was pushing his Willow theory as far back as September 2008.

He left it on the Vanity fair timeline article

http://www.vanityfair.com/online/politics/2008/09/the-authoritative-trig-palin-conspiracy-time-line.html

Psst. The baby is Willow's. Bristol was going to cover for her -- hence her absence from school and thinly veiled excuse (mono), but got pregnant herself. That why Sarah Palin had to fake it. Three Palin women. Two Palin babies. Do the math. Anyone who has seen Willow lately can tell that she is definitely old enough to have a child, and young enough to cover it up. And I can prove it, too. All the evidence is out there, despite their attempts to sanitize it all. The only other possibility -- which is remote -- is the Bristol's current pregnancy is false. But the evidence doesn't point that way. If someone at VF wants to contact me so I can lay out the case, leave a post on this site. It seems that VF is the only publication or media outlet that still cares.

Levi's statement in VF: “I was at the hospital when Sarah had the baby a little after six A.M. on April 18, 2008..."

So did Sarah give birth to Trigg just after 6:00 am, at 6:30 am, or just after 6:30 am?

Most mothers are very specific when they give details about their children's births. Example, "I gave birth to my daughter at 12:37 pm on March 17, 1992.

Here's something else:

Lori Tipton from KTUU covered Trig’s birth from MatSu Regional Hospital on Friday afternoon, April 18, 2008. She never interviews Sarah that day because she says that when she arrives at the hospital, Sarah is sleeping in another room. But Chuck Heath, says just the opposite. He says Sarah has been up all night & hadn’t slept.

After Lori makes her initinal statement about Sarah sleeping, she decides to interview & take photos of Grandma & Grandpa Heath holding Trig. That’s when Chuck says Sarah hadn’t slept.

Lori Tipton’s statement, regarding Sarah’s condition after Trig’s birth, Friday afternoon, April 28, 2008: “Sarah [Palin] was in another room, and they said that she was sleeping when we arrived. And so, we got a little bit of footage of Sally [Heath] holding Trig, and Chuck [Heath] standing next to her.”

Chuck Heath’s statement, regarding Sarah’s condition after Trigs birth, to Lori Tipton Friday afternoon, April 18, 2008: "She's tired, yeah. She traveled, well, she was at that convention, traveled all night, gave birth this morning, what have you, and hasn't slept today. She's tired," he said.

So was Lori Tipton lying about the reason why she didn’t get the chance to interview Sarah that day? If so, why?

I couldn't find the correct link back to the article about the Palins taking Trig to work three days after his (supposed) birth.

But one thing that struck me about it was that it said that Palin had sent out an email to family and close friends, in "the Creator's voice" on Friday April 18th, the day of the birth. This is the email in which Sarah speaks as GOD in saying how wonderful Trig already is, and would have challenges, but every baby has a reason for being here and so people shouldn't feel sad about his condition. I am paraphrasing, but that is the gist of it.

What I find very hard to believe is that Palin could have been up at 04:30 am in Texas, stayed and did the speech despite leaking amniotic fluid, and then flown home hours and hours, and then been induced and given birth, and then after all of that, the same day, fire off an email that does not seem like the sort of thing you'd dash off after being awake for over 24 hours and then delivering.

You would assume by that time that she supposedly write this email, she would have been awake for many hours, and Chuck Heath in the Tipton interview says just that.

How did she even write it? Already tapping away at the laptop so soon? If she was going to let people know, a blackberry text message sounds much more like her style.

If I can find the link I will go back and list it. But I think it is fair to say that not only does this "Creator" welcomes Trig email seem to have some thought into writing it. So did she really whip this out from the hospital bed? And if she wrote in advance, wow, that was pretty prepared, considering the baby was supposedly not due for another 5 weeks.

I also think the paragraph about God having plans for all babies, etc, sounded more like a statement that was meant to get out there as an appeal to the stongly pro-life base. Even from the day of his supposed birth, Trig was already being used as a political prop, it seems.

The whole thing about this email coming out that day seems liked pre-planned fakery and too cute by half. Just one more thing about her story that doesn't seem right...

Armchair Jane, here is the article you were referring to:

Palins' child diagnosed with Down syndrome (04/22/08)
Family Feels Blessed: Back at work already, governor says she wasn't in labor in Texas.
By Lisa Demer

“In a letter she e-mailed to relatives and close friends Friday after giving birth, Palin wrote, "Many people will express sympathy, but you don't want or need that, because Trig will be a joy. You will have to trust me on this." She wrote it in the voice of and signed it as "Trig's Creator, Your Heavenly Father."
"Children are the most precious and promising ingredient in this mixed-up world you live in down there on Earth. Trig is no different, except he has one extra chromosome," Palin wrote.
As for people who think a baby like Trig shouldn't even be born, look around, the governor wrote. Who is perfect or even normal?”

Just like Trig’s presentation on 4-18-08 was a pre-planned event, this email also seems that it was written ahead of time. Did Lisa Demer also receive that email as a close friend or relative? Or was Sarah just anxious to share her creation?

Hey freaks, This is "uber right wing" talk show host Bob Lester. Just wanted to say hello, and thanks for all the attention. Lori Tipton is a first class journalist that reports better than anyone in this state. To suggest that I have ANY sway with how she reports a story is laughable at best. I know you have heard this many times before, but seriously...GET A LIFE!!! Who really gives a rats ass who had what baby? Even if Elvis and a space alien turned out to be the parents...SO WHAT?? I got an idea...make your life so interesting and full that the lives of people you can only SPECULATE about will seen unimportant. What a concept???? Feel free to email this "right winger" (hahahahahaha) bob@bobandmark.com and we can have a nice little chat. I dare you. Until then, have fun stroking each others junk over the NON ISSUE of "Who's your Daddy?" I'll be over there getting on with my life. Losers. Okay, that was harsh...actually...it fits, nevermind.
