Sarah Palin's Personnel Board

The Personnel Board, also created by the Personnel Act, is an independent agency composed of members appointed by the Governor. The Board hears complaints of Ethics Act (AS 39.52) violations brought against Executive Branch employees and disciplinary appeals from classified employees not covered by collective bargaining, approves amendments to the Personnel Rules and acts on recommendations for extensions of the partially exempt or classified services within the Executive Branch.

Members may be removed by the Governor only for cause and they are:

Debra E. English
Public
9787 Middlerock Road
Anchorage, AK 99507
Appointed: 1/8/2004
Reappointed: 1/29/2008
Term Expires: 3/1/2014

Laura Plenert
Public
Ted Ferry Civic Center
25 Double Eagle Lane
Ketchikan, AK 99901
Appointed: 3/10/2004
Term Expires: 3/1/2010

Alfred L. Tamagni, Sr.
Public
Financial Diversified, Insurance and
Pension Services International
7001 Oakwood Drive
Anchorage, AK 99507
Appointed: 3/1/2006
Term Expires: 3/1/2012

Ms Plenert and Mr Tamagni were appointed by former governor Frank Murkowski, a Republican; Ms English was reappointed by Sarah Palin.

Tamagni donated $400 to Palin for her 2006 race for Governor.

How can these people be expected to be impartial?

They will never find her guilty of any ethics violations unless she agrees to some sort of give-and-take, as was the case of some of the children's travel expenses. They appeared to be impartial and she appeared to be contrite and honest by giving back some of the money.

What are the odds of the ten ethics complaints investigated by this board having any outcome other than exonerating Sarah Palin?

Slim to none, but remember Regina that it is not the Personnel Board that has brought Palin to light...it is the media, the blogs, and people speaking truth to Power (if you don't mind an overused cliche).
The light of day will put Palin where she belongs in history and in politics, not the Personnel Board.
Continue to spread the truth and we will indeed overcome....

Not only the personnel board but I think she also picks the Attorney General too!
She has herself in a "insulated" bubble, but the FEDS will probably end up taking her down. I hope people like Andree Mcleod keep up, filing ethics complaints against her!
