So, who really pulls Sarah's strings?

When we hear Sarah Palin talking, specially in interviews, it's very difficult to take her seriously. The transcripts are particularly excruciating, what does she do with all the verbs? And does she think before opening her mouth?

Examples:

To Larry Kudlow:

"What exactly does the VP do all day?"

Talking to Katie Couric:

"As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state."

"Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions."

This is a classic, part of the prank phone call from French president "Nicolas Sarkozy":

"Avengers: Gov. Palin, I love the documentary they made on your life. You know Hustler's Nailin' Paylin?

Palin: Ohh, good, thank you, yes.

Avengers: That was really edgy.

Palin: Well, good."

There's so much more, like her appearance on SNL and the turkey farm little gem. We've all laughed at her and she seemed harmless, just a pretty airhead, forever the beauty queen, the hockey mom with her "endearing" winks.

But we can't forget that she really DOES have executive powers. As Governor of Alaska, she makes decisions that affect the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. She has almost limitless power to appoint her cronies to positions that have a profound impact in the lives of these people. Sarah Palin gave TransCanada half a billion dollars through her AGIA pet project, sued the Federal Government over endangered species, supported the Pebble mine project at the expense of salmon, bears and caribou, supports drilling in ANWAR... She works on budgets, signs things, vetoes things, all important things.

Or does she?

How can a person of limited intellect, as illustrated above, make decisions of such complex nature?

In my humble opinion, she really is just a pretty face and somebody else is governing Alaska.
