Sarah Palin's toxic one track mind

Sarah Palin says goodbye to Senator Kim Elton, who's moving to Washington DC, having accepted the job of Director of Alaska Affairs for the U.S. Department of the Interior:

“Senator Elton pledged his allegiance to President Obama last summer. We wish him well as he moves on and hope that he uses this job for Alaska’s benefit - to advance the state’s oil and gas issues, including the natural gas pipeline, and to work diligently to remove the barriers imposed upon all states that want to open up their shores to off-shore drilling. I hope he can represent Alaskans by opening ANWR, conveying the importance of responsible mining development, and building roads - all issues crucial to the future of our state.”
  • Off-shore drilling, ANWR drilling, roads to drilling.
  • Pipeline pipeline pipeline pipeline pipeline. Roads to the pipeline.
  • Responsible mining. Mmmmm...
The beneficiaries: big oil companies, Pebble Mine.

They carry out their business in a very responsible way: frequent oil spills on the North Slope, which Sarah hopes to extend off-shore and to ANWR, toxic dumping in Cook Inlet, Bristol Bay and anywhere else that takes their fancy. Sarah will always do whatever she can to prevent any threatened species from being protected. She will ignore evidence that toxic dumping poisons the salmon consumed by families, causing health problems that lead to birth defects.

That's the price Alaskans pay for Sarah Palin's allegiances.

Crystalwolf,

Can you believe I never had a troll on this blog?

Maybe now that I hit the ADN they'll start coming out of the woodwork.

Looove you verification letters!

Regina, I finally found your blog site (that I'd seen mentioned somewhere in an ADN comment section)!

Comment from Mike? ... Sounds like someone we'd all love to know personally, doesn't it? ~wink~

It is pretty clear now that Mr. Elton amounts to a paid political character assassin. He brought an unsubstantiated case for purely political reasons and is now rewarded for it. I will not be at all surprised if Mr. Elton now throws Alaska "under the bus" in order to further sabotage governor Palin in the future. Watch him closely Alaskans. Governor Palin was more lenient to him than many would have been. She has laid out a list of projects that he should supoort. Alaskans, watch and see if he does. I doubt it.

Love the picture Regina!

And welcome to the club!

Don't mind the trolls, that only means you are doing your job.

Thanks Gryphen. I'm not used to trolls... Can you believe that I had this blog for exactly one month and the first trolls appeared today? Somebody included a link to this post in the Alaska Newsreader and bingo!

BTW, I've been reading your blog for months, but my husband only started last week and he's now your number 1 fan!

Regina,
Mike is probably one of team scarah, the rabid rat followers of GINO, or look at the ISP and make sure it isn't from Wasilla...? Maybe its the dud himself???
Yes I don't think you want a POS like him in your beautiful village.

So now we are judging our Federal officials for actions anticipated, but not yet taken? Sounds like you're subscribing to the Bush Doctrine of "preemptive warfare", Anonymous with a capital "A"!

Palin continues to show that she has no class, ethics or accountability. She'll scream 'gotcha' journalism and those Lib's twisting her words.
She will not stand up and be held accountable for such inappropriate and childish behavior.

PLAIN FACTS and then there are PALIN FACTS!

Palin is about putting Sarah first.

Reg,

You're doing an excellent job and obviously stepping on some toes - that's good. Don't let the trolls hinder you, infuriating as that jerk is!!! However, considering his allegiance, it's no surprise. Your blog is my favorite and I enjoy it tremendously. Keep up the great work! You're getting the attention this creature (SP) needs. Go get em!!!
