BREAKING NEWS: Sensational audio recording from Sarah Palin's speech in Wisconsin in which she discusses her "Coin conspiracy" claim - UPDATE

No days without big news about the Quitter Queen!

One member of the audience during Sarah Palin's speech in Wisconsin on November 6, 2009 "went rogue" and recorded the speech - or at least some portions of it.

Here is Sarah Palin telling the audience about the already infamous "coin conspiracy" - which has been debunked even by Fox News - and getting a huge applause for telling the story

Imagine you would have to listen to this voice every day...

+++WARNING: AUDIO CAN MAKE YOUR EARS BLEED -
LISTENER DISCRETION ADVISED!+++

+++

Update: Oprah has given a first snippet about what she and Sarah Palin discussed on her show. She thinks they covered "everything". I have the impression that the interview will not be spectacular. But just listen to Oprah's voice when she mentions Levi Johnston. In addition, Sarah Palin already let the world know over facebook that she had a "great conversation" with Oprah. Therefore, we can safely assume that it all went her way.

This is what Oprah says:

There is also a report in which it says that Sarah Palin "suggested"that she is considering moving into the talk show business, but she didn't give a direct yes or no answer.

In any case, with a voice like that she would be well advised to consider other career options. But then we know that Sarah Palin is not exactly a rational person. After all, she really did think that she should have been the Vice President.

Oprah even imitates Sarah Palin in her Twitter messages! ;-)

Don't believe me?

Look here! That's what Oprah twittered today, no joke:

"Breaking news from me..."??

Maybe I wouldn't complain if it really had been "Breaking News". But she just linked to the trailer which you can see above. Not "breaking" enough, if you ask me.

Uggghh my first thought as the bots sit mesmerized by the weird cadences and giant digitized image is of Big Brother - Big Sister Sarah?

They can actually understand her because they clap and laugh on cue. Chilling.

Rumor has it that Palin will only appear on Oprah via a screen as she sits safely in her home where everything can be carefully controlled. Of course she doesn't have the courage to face even softball interviewer Oprah or a live audience in person.

erm....can someone translate this? She sounds like Minnie Mouse on something or other. I'm just not that sure what.

Anonymous said...

She may have had a hit of nitrous. Check out one of the pictures at the HK airport. She's got a brass-colored cylinder in her right hand that looks like a whippet!

Anonymous said...

Ha ha! This is the leader of the republican party?

Anonymous said...

Could it be that the laughter was from embarassment? Has anyone interviewed the event organizers for their opinion about whether she was worthwhile?

Anonymous said...

Can they stop the presses and get that story in print!? Maybe it's already in the book and she's stuck with it.

Anonymous said...

Did she get paid for this?

Anonymous said...

It sounds like the folksy tones she used at the VP debate: "Can I call you Joe?"

Kathleen said...

It is very disturbing that the audience seem to appreciate her whacked out delivery. I myself cannot imagine having to sit through such an event for more than five minutes.

Anonymous said...

By telling that bogus coin story she cast doubt on everything else she said there.

Anonymous said...

This is no joke. After 3 seconds, I couldn't listen to it. It hurt my ears. I kept turning it down more and more, but it still hurt my ears. I repeat, I really don't mean this as a joke. Her voice is unbearably shrill.

Anonymous said...

She's obviously not been practicing the elocution programmes that she had during the election campaign.

Anonymous said...

Can anyone picture Sarah giving the speech at Ft Hood that Obama delivered yesterday?

Anonymous said...

The hilarious thing is that the woman actually played the flute. How can she possibly be so tone deaf? Eventually she will sound like Edith Bunker--lucky Todd.

Anonymous said...

erm have you heard her play the flute?

It was awful.

Anonymous said...

She acts like a lousy cartoon character.

Anonymous said...

I sure see alot of old balding men in that shot :D
Where are the women?
I mean it is a right to life gig.. that draws alot of Church Mother's!
Goes to show a big part of her following just want a little (gag) eye candy
Which means.. if the old girl keeps a truckin' ... eventually she will wither like a raisin (we all age!) so there is hope she will loose her minions but a nice fatty scandal would be even better :D

Nice new blog post Patrick. It's so much fun listening to her uneducated and ill thought out remarks. Anyone whose research consists of quoting from a chainmail is obviously presidential material. haha! And just listen to the palinbots applaud her salient points. Robots to a man!

Can you imagine Sarah Palin, Chris Matthews, and Pat Buchanan all talking at once?

AAAAUUUUGGGHHH!

(funny! My WV is "bable")

This audio should be picked up by Huffpost! This is the great white hope of the Republican party? More like the elephant in the room!

FEDUP!!! said...

Anon @11 November 2009 23:35 : My reaction exactly! I would rather sit through a whole day of fingernails scratching on a chalkboard than having to listen to her even for ONE MINUTE! It simply was impossible for me to listen to more than a few seconds.

ManxMamma said...

I could only listen to a few minutes. However it crossed my mind if Dana Carvey as The Church Lady and Tina Fey could work together we'd have a perfect SP clone.
I'm still wondering if losing an hour of work on Monday to watch Oprah is possible...not that I couldn't take an hour off, but could I stand to listen and watch this nightmare from Lake Lucille.

Anonymous said...

She may be lip syncing. Notice that her arms are always at her side. Very unlike her.

KaJo said...

..."the right win's most influential intellectual voice..."? Are they kidding? Surely they're kidding!

Now that I've listened to the video, she sounds a little squirrely -- I mean, like Alvin the Chipmunk.

That voice is like a railroad spike being driven into my ear with a mallet (I couldn't ever listen to Alvin or the other Chipmunks very long, either). And in the airplane-hanger-sized auditorium, it's like she's EVERYWHERE!

----------

Anon @ 00:13, I hope you're saying that tongue-in-cheek...

It's a still photograph "video". That's how an audio recording is uploaded to YouTube.

I couldn't listen after the first 30 seconds. My husband begged me to turn it off and it was hurting my ears so badly that I agreed.

My god, that woman is so shrill and unpleasant. Just think of what you have to be made of as a person to ENJOY listening to that! Sickos!
Wackos! Angry resentful freaks who should be cast far away from civilization. She's her own leper colony.

Here's pageant contestant playing the flute. She is pretty bad - really bad actually - for saying she has played for many years. Also, she's really crosseyed and it's funny to watch. Sorry to be so mean - but she's a mean girl and deserves it!!

Thy name is Palin.

Anonymous said...

Her bots are trying to spin the coin story by saying that it wasn't an attack on Obama.

What she said about the coin is bogus and comes from an email chain letter. Her use of the story throws into doubt everything else she has said. Of course they will never address the real issue.

crystalwolf aka caligrl said...

OMFG!
She sounds like a fricken lunatic! Off her meds again I guess?
The story was bad enough to read(b/c it was so very stupid) but to hear...She is INSANE!!!!

Yes, just look at all those balding white heads! And that voice, it is worse that finger nails on a blackboard. I cannot imagine in my wildest dreams any man thinking that voice is attractive. Maybe they are all wearing ear plugs!

Thanks for the warning, I certainly didn't open the video. I absolutely can't stand the sound of her voice, it literally makes me sick. All those idiots who stood and applauded, much less stayed for the whole speech need some serious help.

I'm not surprised that the audience appears to have a lot of middle aged men. Women are the foot soldiers in this movement but the men call the shots. That's how God wants it, right?

It seems weird to me that Sarah is trying to uphold this idea of women being subordinate to any chance pregnancy and at the same time promoting having a fully engaged career. Something has to give and in her case it's actual mothering and parenting. Maybe it was going to be that way anyhow due to her narcissism. Poor kids.

Patrick said...

It reminds me very much of this policemen's convention in the movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"...

I agree that video needs to come with a warning - it's a hazardous material.

Details About Palin's Meeting With Wisconsin Guv Candidate

“Walker briefed Palin on his front-running poll standing, and his strong fundraising to date. Palin, tired from a long day, engagingly asked Walker what his campaign slogan is, who is involved in his bid, and why he is running for governor. She urged him to adopt a positive, optimistic message and said it was a good sign that Republicans won gubernatorial contests in New Jersey and Virginia earlier in the month by running on such sunny platforms.”

I couldn't stand W's voice either. Thought he sounded like Elmer Fudd. Never figured out how so many people could bear to listen to him. For eight years I could only bring myself to read his speaches. Oh how glad I am to hear President Obama's wonderful voice.

sandra said...

Maybe some of the problem was in the recording equipment. I couldn't stand it either. I'm thinking that because a lot of older men lose their hearing in the upper ranges, maybe they are the only ones who can listen. They're probably busy watching, anyway.

Ever since I heard her screechy voice in Aug/08 talking about the 18 million cracks Hillary put in the glass ceiling, I have been cringing and revolted by Palin, but this audio of her in Wisconsin is a low point even for her

Anonymous said...

I love that story, Molly.

I can't listen to her either.

ArmchairJane said...

Playing that tape over and over to anybody against their will would constitute cruel and unusual punishment!

I agree with all the previous comments about physical difficulty with listening to the screeching. My volume was set VERY low when I started, so couldn't make out the words. As soon as I turned it up very much the sound was painful to listen to.

So it was up and down, up and down with the volume, from low but couldn't hear the actual words, to higher but feeling like my ears were bleeding.

What I did notice was that she delivered her punch lines in a snide mean girl inflection. She really is stuck in her teen glory years. How pathetic.

Not related to Oprah's syndicated TV show, but I heard a promo on Sirius XM Radio that Oprah's interview with SP will also be broadcast on Sirius XM's "Oprah Radio" channel (XM 156; don't what it is for you Sirius folks).

Didn't catch the date/time, though. Sorry.

Maybe Oprah will give her a show on her cable channel to ply her away from politics. I envision a show with moosemeat recipes and advice for teen mothers.

I watched Levi on the Insider. He is getting better all the time. SOOO FINE!!!!

I'm more bored than Oprah with SP.
Prejean was on Larry King acting strange. "Larry, you're inappropriate." She was selling a book but couldn't talk about anything. She and Palin have the same coach.

Bring it on Levi!!

GAWD. I just listened to some of that audio. SARAH PALIN'S VOICE IS TERRIBLE. She just gave me a headache.

Someone put a curse on Oprah. She will never be the same again.

I can only think of her dog house when ever I hear her name now. It's about 2 of mine. All lovely tile floors and doesn't need a new roof.
Not a bad neighborhood.

I fear for Oprah, as Sarah ruins everything she touches.

ella said...

It was really an interesting interview," Oprah said. She acknowledged that lots of people didn't want Palin to come on the show. "But," Oprah said firmly, "she did. And we talked about everything."

Some tidbits of what's to come: "Palin will dish on her marriage, what it felt like when she was first asked to be vice president, Bristol, the pregnancy, Trig, and of course, Levi Johnston." "We talked about everything," Oprah repeated. "There's nothing that we didn't talk about."

We shall see. Can't wait to hear about "the pregnancy," presuming she means the square pillow one.

Anonymous said...

I am thrilled they discussed the Church fire. It will give Sarah a chance to be sympathetic. I know it effected their family and she has many lessons to share.

Anonymous said...

The business pages recently reported that Oprah's ratings are sinking, so I am sure that the Palin interview is more about ratings than anything else. (She would have gotten more viewers if she had been a little bit more like Katy Couric. The You Tube of Katy's interview with Sarah drew millions of hits).

Oprah is making Chicagoans angry with rumors that she will be moving Harpo Studios to California in 2011 when she takes her show to cable. A reporter challenged Oprah recently about the people who would lose their jobs in Chicago during a bad economy- how did she feel about that. She gave a pretty snippy response about hiring people in California, so there.

I can only hold out the hope that while Sarah thinks the interview went well, she might just say something that we think is stupid. After all, she loved the coin story and still defends it. That speaks to her judgment about how well things go. She's proud of the coin story.

The other nice thing about Sarah talking talking talking is that we may be treated to yet another version of her various stories, how she learned that Trig had DS, the newest exciting version of The Wild Ride, and how often Levi gets to see his kid.

By now, I've read several business accounts that look at her book as a momentary burst that will fade quickly. For example, no one has bid for the serialization rights which would boost interest ahead of publication by releasing snippets and exciting portions of the book. (She may be restricting that feature, but it would boost sales. And, it costs money). The bus tour looks more like a political campaign, hitting states which will be important in building a new rogue conservative party. (After she lets loose on the Republicans, she can kiss that party goodbye)

Archivist said...

Seriously, who cares?

Unless Oprah had a lie detector on her, we know the drivel by now, no?

If Oprah wanted a real story, she would delay Monday's showing of the interview, and go to Alaska to 'verify' the things Sarah said, point by point!

Now THAT would be a show! ... Dynamite ratings!

1-Segment of Sarah, tooting her horn.

2-Commercial.

3-Segment in Alaska, with the real story.

4-More Sarah.

5-Commercial.

6-More Alaska.

Over 2 days .. or 3 even!

"OMG!!!! More BREAKING Carrie Prejean News from TMZ!!!
OK, this chick is a consistent liar to the 100% degree. TMZ is just breaking a phone conversation and pictures from a ex-boyfriend, whom she was only physically dating for 4 days, that she sent the "Alone Time" tape too. Turns out, she sent the guy 15 videos of the same sort. Also, it seems as if Ms. Prejean likes to "have it" somewhat quickly...judging from the pictures, I assume, the guy provided.....she looks pretty close to him to only know him for 4 days. Let's sum this up now:

1. Probably sleeps with people she known for a short period of time.
2. Stalking this poor guy with, as he claims, a large number of "Alone Time" videos
3. Claims she is the "Bible" queen from San Diego
4. Says that Gay Marriage is wrong
5. Has a breast job she states she did not want....but allowed someone else to pay for it
6. Drops a lawsuit after a tape or various "tapes" were exposed
7. Calls herself promoting a book on the "Beliefs" of living like God would want you too
8. Goes on more talk shows knowing full well her past was sure to follow"
