Wow! GINO displays most of these traits. Impeach? Recall? Commit to a mental health facility? The sooner the better!
These traits lay out GINOs personality in a nutshell

I think by the time you accumulate 4 personality disorders you qualify for the big one: crazy.
Many of those definitely apply. You know SHE is nuts when the sheer volume and outlandishness of her antics start making YOU feel NUTS!!!!
I linked to this post on my blog-we all need a little humor and contemplation while we wait for the WAR results!
Let's see...does that mean she has an antihistriccisticdisocial personality diorder?
Excellent analysis. What makes this worse is that it seems like people with these kinds of personality disorders are drawn to politics because it provides them with a means of getting attention... not to mention manipulating others.
This is one of the reasons I became so interested in SP. I just had my own run-in with someone with a personality disorder. In order to prevent future problems with people with disorders, I began learning to spot the red flags for these issues. Studying SP's behavior has been as educational for me as taking a college psychology class.
I believe that SP exhibits traits of these disorders. I truly feel sorry for her children and grandchildren.

O.M.G. You've nailed it!
Love this!
I echo LisanTX's views. I, too, became interested in Palin as an ex-Beauty Queen because I had a professional run-in with someone somewhat like her. In my own case, the XBQ needs attention so badly that she tries to seduce men in high places, only to out them later as "liberals" or "abusers" or "anti-Christian." (I am not male, by the way). THE XBQ LOVES her victimhood.
The XBQ I'm referring to now runs around trying to be on the radio, and admits she is mentally ill. "I am drawing attention to myself to help people."
Soon, someone will sue her for libel and slander. I suppose her "alibi" will be that she is mentally ill.
It is a weird world we live in, where people with mental health issues can be "leaders."
My WV is "stallin"
ennie, meenie, miney, moe. . .
Thank you for detailing her personality disorder!
The other term for her is: SOCIOPATH.
I, too, have had an eight year battle with a female sociopath. They are devious and clever. While they study 'what works' on regular humans, they never, ever learn from their own mistakes.
So, be comforted. They eventually self-destruct. The goal for the rest of us is to learn...and not react to them as though they are normal.
All of the above, LOL!
Personally I think she has some dr. signing her off as ADD or something similar and is on adderall, which is why she is losing weight and looking like a POS lately and acting erratically, unless dud's sis was her meth dealer!
And did you hear the news? WAR is so over!!!!!
Bet that's all she will be talking about tonight at the right to life dinner, lol!
Regina,
I haven't posted before, but I"m glad to see someone finally addressing this issue. I tried to post a little at ADN on this, but they banned me and dumped all my posts when I asked a SarahPac if they knew the meaning of magical thinking. I was referring to Sarah Palin, but I think they thought I was referring to the commenter. In any case, I just wanted to add my observations to your very excellent post. I have a little background on the subject.
Rarely does someone fit into one discrete category of the personality disorders. Typically, we see symptoms falling within the clusters of grouped disorders, the grouping most applicable in this case being narcissistic, histrionic, and borderline.
A sociopath (now called antisocial personality disorder) is less common and must also be diagnosed retroactively with conduct disorder as a child. Traits from any/all disorders may be present together even if a true diagnosis is not possible. In that case, the individual is diagnosed either NOS (not otherwise specified) or just as having the traits if the traits are significant enough to negatively effect functioning (necessary for any DSM-IV diagnosis except mental retardation).
What is important to understand, is that within the cluster containing the borderline, histrionic, and narcissistic disorders, are found the most volatile and extreme emotions. The individual sees others only in relation to them self and is unable to feel empathy. It is empathy that holds us in check - beyond our concern for our own well-being. Without empathy, the individual sees no reason to monitor or control their own impulses.
Sarah Palin has demonstrated by saying "I can do what I want until the courts say I can't" pretty much the sum total of who she is. Her contempt for rules, or rather, her belief that they don't apply to her or that she can lie with impunity verge on pathological.
By the way, has anyone investigated the First Dude's relationships with his family? The dynamics demonstrated in photos are curious and the power and interconnectedness isn't as clear as they would have it appear, I don't think. Personality disorders are created, criminality tends to be familial, and I realize I am generalizing and using a very broad brush, but such behaviors do not exist in a vacuum.
Kyra,
Thanks for a insightful, knowledgeable post! I am suspecting your are a health professional, and with GINO there is plenty of pathology! Don't worry about Censorship here! Regina never censors anyone even the troll who occasionally come here, but they just can't deal with the truth. Look forward to seeing you post more here, and Welcome! :)
Put them all together they spell full blown borderline personality disorder. It's not going to be pretty when she goes into full implosion mode, and I pity anyone who is vulnerable to her.
