Backlash in Sarahland

There are some disturbing things going on in the state of Alaska...

In a press release dated April 22, 2009, Sarah Palin's office commented on an ethics complaint that has just been filed against the governor:

"I hope that the publicity-seekers will face a backlash from Alaskans who have a sense of fair play and proportion."

The backlash has started, but not from ordinary Alaskans. The guy who wished for it, Sarah Palin's chief-of-staff Mike Nizich, and Annette Kreitzer, administration commissioner, decided to dispense a dose of backlash to Republican activist Andree McLeod.

With a little help from the Anchorage Daily News, through Sheila Toomey's Alaska Ear, an e-mail Andree McLeod had sent to Kreitzer was leaked, causing much amusement due to the subject of the communication: cleavage.

Andree happens to believe in ethics in government, she doesn't just talk about it. Sarah Palin asked to be held accountable and Andree obliged. There are quite a few points raised by Andree McLeod regarding Sarah Palin's ethics and they are not frivolous at all.

The irony is that Andree has been waiting for the government e-mails she requested many months ago and Sarah Palin's office is having great difficulty in releasing them, asking for extension upon extension of the deadline. They didn't have any trouble finding and releasing Andree's e-mail in a most unprofessional manner...

Mudflats and Celtic Diva have all the details about this pathetic turn of events.

They are so unprofessional! I can't imagine any other governors office acting like the despite what was said them. I hop Andree does not give up. She should report Palins office to the federal attorney generals office. The emails should have been released.

Sarah thinks she can do or say anything, that she is untouchable. Well Bernie Madoff thought so too. Everyone should start writing letters to federal officials about all of these things.

Are you sure you want to link to a blog that talks badly about various groups of people (see the category links/subjects on the lower right and do a bit of reading) and supports Palin? Just saying...

@ anonymoous2: I don't see a problem linking to a blog post that is providing factual information. If the blog owner doesn't share our politics/ opinions, that does not make the post less factual.

Linking to a blog post is not an endorsement of the blog, just of that particular post. IMHO

This is exactly the petty minded "strategic thinking" that I expect from the Palin politicos. Trying to embarrass Andrea McLeod into shutting up. Pathetic.

I don't endorse the blog in question. I'm aware that they support Palin and don't have them on my blog roll.

The link is to a single post with a handy list and further links to information about all the complaints against SP.

I confess that I would feel more comfortable compiling my own list and deleting the link...

Sarah uses her position of power to attack all opposition people... and gets away with it.

Not even a wrist slap for Trooper gate.

Need to get Walt Monegan and Officer Wooten to team up and find the workers that built Sarah's house. They could get information on who paid the workers... then go straight to the FBI.

How and why are Monegan and Wooten especially suited to get the info on who built Palin's house?

Why do YOU suggest SOMEONE ELSE do this dirty work?

WHY NOT DO IT YOURSELF!

WHY don't YOU go straight to the FBI.

I am tired of "followers" who "admire and respect" peoplel like Andee McLeod for standing up and exposing themselves to retaliation, always pushing someone else up to the front lines.

It is not enough to rally behind others. Step out front yourself !

And to answer the obvious but unasked questions, YES I HAVE AND NOT JUST WITH PALIN BUT IN 6 YRS OF CIVIL RIGHTS LITIGATION.

I thought I posted this here? The twit just tweeted, another ethics complaint dismissed...didn't give details...
Its just no use filing ethics complaints against her with her very own handpicked board. Much better to sent any info to CREW and FBI!

Palin is going down...

She is guilty of much more than you all can fathom...

and I will be the one to bring her down...

and those around her are seeing it...

and they are distancing themselves...

Palin knows who I am...

Tell her I am coming...

and the law is with me...the FEDS..

watch her...

Turn Palin....LOL....

Don't take something that doesn't belong to you...

Especially when it's federally insured....

Oh this will be classic...

May be it will turn into a movie...

Remember - when one is worth alot of money - those around will do anything to keep it...

Even if it's illegal...

Naughty girl...lol...

Palin is going down...

I don't know / I certainly hope that her "entitlement" attitude does bring her down, but I've been around for a few years and have seen politicians get away with things that would have had normal people going of to jail.
I've about reconciled myself to the babygate thing maybe not being so bad for the kids involved - Levi / Bristol / Trigg / Tripp.
I still believe the house built with the help of friends is the real iceburg.
