Don't you just love this roguish headline at Huffington Post? - PLUS: New video of her disenchanted fans! / C4P suspects a conspiracy!

Read the article at Huffington Post.

Also, we have a new video from the book signing in Indiana - finally, her fans get a taste of the REAL Sarah.

Welcome to the real world! ;-)

+++

However, the C4Peelanders are now in conspiracy mode!

Sarah has no fault (as always)!

Most likely, a liberal conspiracy in Noblesville, Indiana is to blame!

Obama? Soros? Axelrod? Where were they? Have they got an alibi?

+++

Looks like Sarah has something funny at her ear...complication from a facelift?

I hope MissJ's forum comes here and realizes that Palin was MIA for 6 weeks - not one picture or sighting and then scrubbed old pictures of her from every source they could.

Her ear also looks different - they used to tip out and now they don't and yes, the empty space in front of it looks odd. post surgery odd. big face lift odd.

The parotid gland is inside the mouth, parotitis would not be visible on the outside like the bump Sarah has. It would give more of a chipmunk swollen cheek look.

Do you mean like this ?

Or like this ?

Here's a nice one of Kris Perry, and Track's girlfriend, Perry has also been tossed under the bus, you can take that one to the bank.

This one is both kind of artsy and scary at the same time.

Last but not least no thingie growing out of her.

@ Anon at 21:06--I don't remember O'Brien but it's interesting to hear again about Pasley, Carr, Beck . . . There's a lot I've forgotten or repressed (!) about Alaska and Alaska politics . . .

When you live in a small state with such important resources--and a small state which has such disproportionate influence because of its resources--you learn pretty quickly that one person really can make a huge difference and there were a bunch of dedicated people I worked with who made huge contributions and who worked tirelessly to make the state better. But you also see how pervasive the corruption is. I just couldn't tolerate the "get in, get yours and get out" mentality any longer and the complete inability to recognize any concept of "conflict of interest." The Exxon Valdez disaster just strengthened my resolve to change careers and leave the state before my soul was completely shredded.

The damage Sarah Palin did to Alaska and to Alaskans--the damage she did to humans, to animals, to the environment, to the rule of law, and to the Native culture--sickens me. That's why I resolve to work to bring Palin down through merciless mockery and through any peaceful legal means available.

Barb-

Todd may well have eyes that are slowly turning green, for all I know. When I heard that Todd had quit his "occasional" usage of cigars and pot when he became a serious 'biler, it definitely crossed my mind that this could be a rumor started by the Palins themselves.

On one hand, I feel like frequent pot use would explain a lot- the weird disconnect witnessed by so many over the last few years...which most people attributed to his feeling emasculated by Sarah out earning him. On the other hand, with the way people "talk" here, it seems close to impossible that Todd could have any kind of significant "habit" and keep it hidden. Then again...look at what they've been able to hide up to this point. If they can hide a fake pregnancy, a real pregnancy, an imploding marriage, and the worst case of political ineptitude in this century. All things considered, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Todd could keep a little smoky-smoky under wraps.

I hear that Sarah's handlers are prepared to explain away her six week absence, where she was not only absent from her beloved spotlight but not even seen around town for weeks.

They plan to say that she was "hunkered down" writing her book furiously, working twelve hours a day so she could deliver her Opus Of Lies to her devoted constituency ASAP.

In other words...excuses, excuses. Same old story.

Many thanks, Valley KW. We SO appreciate your insights. I found some photos of the AH luncheon by accessing a link on a post from a few days ago. I believe the site said Truth Seeker 22 Flickr. There were tons of photos there of SP that are babygate related. There is also a photo of a handwritten note thanking someone who had given Trig a gift. It was signed "Bristol and the Palin Family," which is weird. Why didn't Sarah write it? Someone should contact the photo poster and find out where the photo came from. Would the recipient of the card have info about Trig? My apologies if I'm going down a road that's already been explored.

Anon 22:04, just very quickly before I go-

I mean that I have been unable to find the "official" photos taken by the event-provided photographer. Every single year, in EVERY state that the AHA has the luncheon, the local media covers it AND the photos are on the web site. This 2008 luncheon is the only one with no photos on the web site. Why? The only one whose organizers will not happily provide you with photos if asked. Why?

Regarding the thank yous that were sent out by Bristol- many of them were sent out, and there have been rumblings about some of them having been sent out long before Trig's alleged birthdate. The basis for that is...why on EARTH would Sarah have BRISTOL sign and send out thank you notes for baby gifts...given all the Bristol pregnancy rumors Sarah tried so hard to dispel. I think that faking the pregnancy did not occur to her until McCain was announced as nominee and she was told she might be tapped for veep. Once she did start faking, she knew that if some of the notes had her name and some Bristol's name, that wouldn't be explained away easily, so instead Bristol keeps sending them herself with the explanation of "Sarah is just SO busy right now, the new baby and going back to work right away...Bristol is such a HUGE HELP".

I think Sarah was probably surprised that more wasn't made of the Bristol-signed thank yous. After all, especially combined with that "birth announcement"- the only one we've EVER seen with NO BIRTH DATE- in the voice of "God"...

I think even Sarah would have to concede that so much of that sounds off the wall odd and just doesn't seem to make sense. Have any of you ever had one of your other children sign and send thank you notes for gifts to your new child?

I thought as much.

Ok now I really do have to go. See everyone later.

I stand corrected on what I wrote at 21:00:

"And since I am mentioning Chuck in this comment, I have been thinking about "Sarah's" letter from some years back when she felt her father was being attacked during a campaign. She issued a response telling about how great her dad is, and it included that anecdote about the "warm ungulate eyeballs". And I am pretty sure that she said she DID hold them in her hands. Yet at the BW interview, she discussed the anecdote and said Chuck *wanted* her to hold them, but she just could not bring herself to do it, and told him no. Weird, I am going to have to look at that first letter. Just another odd lie of Sarah's?"

I looked up the letter and actually she said did NOT have to hold the "ungulate parts" after all. So her story is consistent. The letter was also not in the context of a campaign, but from when Guv Murkowsi was deciding on a person to appoint to an open seat. An ADN commenter described discussing the letter describes the context like this:

"Note: Apparently in July 2003 the ADN noted "DOWN - Would-be Murkowski rivals: Jerry Hood? Johnne Binkley? Sarah Palin? Who's your daddy?" in reference to Frank appointing his daughter). Maybe the ADN should interview us wanna be’s (or has-beens!)"

Here's the pertinent part of that letter she wrote to the ADN with the part I incorrectly remembered:

"He wouldn’t put up with my wimpy reasons why I couldn’t thaw frozen fish egg bait in my mouth, like he does, when ice fishing. But he did understand when I looked up at him quizzically once upon his request to “please hold those” while he searched for something to put our freshly butchered moose’s eyeballs in so his students could observe them later that day. He graciously understood, and I didn’t have to hold those ungulate’s warm parts that morning in the alders. . . ."

Okay, so she said the same thing there and in the Babs interview. But in tracking this down, it was interesting to see that this letter was part of another Palin tactic: pretend not to understand the obvious context so you can play the victim, and say your family member was attacked. In this case, the ADN said the person who had the correct "daddy" to get a thumbs up on a Murkowski appointment was Lisa Murkowski. Nepotism 101, DUH! But instead of letting it go, Palin pretended to think it was implied that she wasn't of a high enough social class. Or something.

I guess that pattern of hers has been established for quite a while...

Here's where you can read the comment thread complete with the full text of Palin's letter, this time being discussed during the Governor's race in 2006:
http://community.adn.com/adn/node/102820

The comment I referenced from that page that includes Palin's letter was by alaskastraightalker, on Oct 17, 2006.

People Magazine * January 19, 2009 * Vol. 71 * No. 2

Since the birth of Sarah Palin's first grandchild on Dec. 27, life at the Alaska governor's four-bedroom Wasilla home has gotten a lot busier—and a bit more crowded. Not only has tiny Tripp moved in with mom Bristol, but dad Levi Johnston has been staying over too
. "Levi is hands-on," says his mother, Sherry Johnston, who lives nearby.

By all accounts, they will have lots of help. After making a solo appearance at a New Year's Eve party, Todd cut out early, saying "now he had a couple of babies at home," recalls host Martin Buser, referring not only to Todd's new grandson but to Tripp's 9-month-old uncle Trig. Sarah's mother, Sally Heath, meanwhile, told a friend that she plans on "a lot of babysitting." Sherry's stepfather, Tim Zimbrich, says, "Whatever help they need, they get." Adds Curtis Menard, a friend and mayor of Matanuska-Susitna borough: "As Alaskans, we rise to the occasion. Bristol will do great."

Levi had intended to return to work as an electrical apprentice with the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation on Jan. 4. But public questions about his eligibility—the program requires a high school diploma or equivalency—caused him to stay home and, as his father, Keith, told the Anchorage Daily News, continue his education.

Palin contacted reporters directly, twice phoning PEOPLE to say, "Levi and Bristol are working their butts off to parent and going to school and working at the same time." She then issued a statement that stressed Bristol is in her last semester of high school (via correspondence courses) and "Levi is continuing his online high school work." (According to Sherry Johnston, who homeschooled her son for a few years, Levi was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and has long had problems in school.) Both Bristol and Levi, Palin said, "have faith they've made the right decision in setting aside their own interests to make this child their highest priority."

Bristol Palin's New Man? Goodbye Levi Johnston, Hello Johnny Chandler by Mitch Marconi Published: Apr 8, 2009

Bristol, 18, has turned to her ex boyfriend Johnny Chandler for some support - the guy she left to be with Levi!

Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol may no longer be engaged to Levi Johnston, but that doesn't mean she's sulking in sorrow.

Bristol, 18, has turned to her ex boyfriend Johnny Chandler for some support - the guy she left to be with Levi! A friend of Bristol's tells the Enquirer: "Johnny feels terrible over what Bristol is going through."

"He thinks it's hard enough being a new single mom, and on top of it, she has to cope with a breakup that people the world over are talking about."

"Johnny cares deeply about Bristol, but he's still a little wary of them getting too serious again right now."

"Levi and Johnny had a big blowup during their sophomore year in high school when Levi and Bristol hooked up while she was still with Johnny."

"Bristol finally broke it off with Johnny for Levi, which pretty much ruined Johnny and Levi's friendship. Johnny forgave Bristol quickly because he cared for her so much, but it took a long time before he and Levi became tight again."

Maybe this is interesting, or not.

AB Culvahouse Jr. was the man responsible for vetting Sarah Palin.

He has quite an impressive bio.

Arthur B. Culvahouse, Jr. (born Ten Mile, Tennessee, July 4, 1948) is the Chair of O’Melveny & Myers, an international law firm of more than 1,000 lawyers with offices around the world. Arthur ("A.B.") Culvahouse practiced law with O’Melveny & Myers from 1976 to 1984, and from 1989 until the present.

From 1973 to 1976, Culvahouse was Chief Legislative Assistant/Counsel to Senator Howard H. Baker, Jr.

Here's a little bit about the law firm, O’Melveny & Myers LLP that Mr. Culvahouse is the Chair of.

The firm is an international law firm founded in Los Angeles, California. The firm is the 19th largest law firm in the world and lauded by Vault as one of America’s top twenty most prestigious law firms.

It employs around twelve hundred attorneys in fourteen offices worldwide.

The nineteenth largest law firm in the world couldn't do a better job of vetting Sarah Palin for VP ?

Where it get's interesting is where Mr. Culvahouse was born, and I'm presuming grew up.

It is a little over 300 miles from the headquarters of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

1 Billy Graham Parkway
Charlotte, NC 28201

Sarah Palin's association with Billy Graham's son, Franklin Graham, is well documented.

For those conspiracy theorists who are looking to tie the nomination to some kind of deal with the Christian right, this might be the place to look.

I've only scratched the surface here, Mr. Culvahouse has been around a very long time and knows a lot of people, it's not a stretch at all to believe that he might know Billy Graham on a very personal basis.

William Franklin Graham III (born July 14, 1952), known publicly as Franklin Graham, is an American Christian evangelist and missionary. He is the president and CEO of both the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and the international Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse.

The fourth of five children of evangelist Billy Graham and wife Ruth Bell Graham, Franklin Graham was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains near Asheville, North Carolina.

As a teenager, Graham attended Stony Brook School, a Christian boarding school on Long Island, New York, and finished high school in North Carolina.

He currently lives with his wife, Jane, in Boone, North Carolina.

Franklin Graham is 4 years younger than Mr. Culvahouse and currently lives less than 200 miles from where Culvahouse grew up.

Maybe there's nothing there.

I'd be floored to find out that Mr. Culvahouse also attended a boarding school on Long Island, I've yet to determine anything about Culvahouse's education prior to his graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1970.

This is probably all just coincidental.

"Johnny feels terrible over what Bristol has been going through."

Let's see. Bristol has all her living expenses paid for in a large home she could never afford on her own and is being given a car and a nanny... yeah. That's tough. Poor little Bristol. Sounds like she's become quite the victim. Shame on Levi for asking for visitation. Doesn't he realize how fragile Bristol is? [/sarcasm]

Sorry, but I see another Sarah in the making. Poor little Bristol didn't have anything to do with getting pregnant! It's not her fault!

He insisted that on her submitted written questionnaire, Palin told the vetting staff about "everything except the pregnancy" of her daughter. That revelation came in a conversation soon after the end of her interview. "So we knew everything going in",said Culvahouse.

The Washington Post said personnel changes alone were not enough to rescue the Reagan White House.

Mr Baker presided over his first staff meeting at the White House yesterday with humour and candour, saying he contemplated no wholesale firings and requests for resignations, a spokesman said. However, he will have private talks with some aides about their future at the White House, and has already asked Mr AB Culvahouse , a partner in his law firm, to replace Mr Peter Wallison as the chief White House counsel.

Tower Commission aftermath: Baker takes over as attacks grow on a beleaguered Reagan
Times, The (London, England) - March 3, 1987 by MICHAEL BINYON, WASHINGTON

WASHINGTON - White House Chief of Staff Howard Baker, "appalled" by the absence of serious legal efforts inside the White House to protect President Reagan and prepare for the investigations into the Iran-contra affair, has ordered a detailed internal effort to gather all the available facts, according to informed sources.

Baker has assigned the task to incoming White House counsel Arthur Culvahouse Jr., who one source said has been working "around the clock, day and night, inundated." Baker told Culvahouse that "his immediate mission" is to assemble a complete picture of the White House role in the affair, according to another source.

Baker orders probe of Iran deal - White House legal effort assailed as full of holes

Ronald Reagan may need the advice of a good defense lawyer.
Last week Carl ``Spitz`` Channell pleaded guilty to conspiring with
``others known and unknown to the Independent Counsel`` to defraud the
United States of America.

Channell admitted to Independent Counsel Lawrence Walsh that he conspired to mislead contributors to a fund he controlled into believing
their donations were to tax-exempt charitable organizations when, in fact, some of the money was going to buy guns for the Nicaraguan contras.

But though Baker is a lawyer, he does not have recent experience to weave through the intricacies of a federal grand jury investigation. His choice for White House counsel, Arthur Culvahouse , who served with Baker at the prestigious Vinson and Elkins law firm, also has not concentrated on defending high-visibility public cases.

WALSH PROBE PUTS REAGAN ON SPOT
Chicago Tribune - Sunday, May 3, 1987
Author: Nicholas M. Horrock.

People implicated in the Pentagon bribery investigation have destroyed documents on at least two occasions in the past two weeks, according to prosecutors fighting the release of search-warrant affidavits

``In the short time since the execution of the search warrants became public (June 14), the government has already become aware of several incidents of destruction of documents related to this case,'' U.S. Attorney Henry Hudson, who is coordinating the probe, said in a court brief released yesterday.

The White House has blocked a senator's request for FBI files on Melvyn Paisley, a former Boeing official who is a central target of the investigation, according to a White House official.

The official said White House counsel Arthur Culvahouse Jr. had turned down the request of Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., who yesterday asked the FBI give to Congress files used to evaluate Paisley before his confirmation as an assistant secretary of the Navy.

I'm sure that the mention of AB Culverhouse Jr. and George F. Terwilliger III in the same article is just a coincidence too.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if the vetting process was really that "last minute" as it's been implied.

It boggles the mind that somebody that connected, that successful at what he does, could do as poorly as he did.

As to the first conflict, long-time VECO CEO Bill Allen has gone Outside for help. Previously relying on former U.S. Attorney--and long-time Alaska lawyer--Bob Bundy as his chief counsel, Allen has now added at least three heavy hitters from the Washington, D.C. office of the international law firm of White & Case. With 37 offices in 25 countries, White & Case has more than 2,000 lawyers and reported more annual revenues than even VECO ever boasted--almost $1.5 billion at last count.

Allen's best-known new lawyer is George Terwilliger, the global head of White & Case's White Collar Practice Group, but probably more famous to you as one of the key lawyers for George W. Bush in the Florida recount following the 2000 presidential election. Terwilliger also served as Deputy Attorney General--the Justice Department's No. 2 job--in President George H.W. Bush's administration, and has also prosecuted the infamous BCCI and defended the Bank of America.

Does anybody in Alaska know if Jerry Prevo is connected to Billy Graham ?

I don't have time to dig that one up right now.

To anon who has been posting the clippings and links. Thank you, I am studying these and I find it quite interesting. Doing some digging around...

Anon 18:20 - I completely agree about the "Who's Yer Daddy" letter, including possible authorship and in particular some of the creepy symbolism there. That's part of the reason I returned to it.

But it was also interesting to see in the whole situation surrounding the letter that the old "SP standard MO" emerges:
take question or statement out of context, use it as an excuse to play the victim, claim attack is on family, and use that as an excuse to either criticize her "enemy" or to aggrandize herself and family or better yet, do both at once!

I'm quite sure that palin is not suffering from MRSA. If she was she wouldn't have the energy to travel around as she is. Let's keep some perspective here.

Woke up to find my fingers turning brown and rushed to the doctor's office. He couldn't tell whether it was a brown recluse spider bite or MRSA. The test results would take three days, but said he could not wait three days if MRSA. If it was MRSA they would be removing my fingers within 24 hours. He gave me shots and medicine which helped immediately. Test results came back it was the spider bite. You don't mess around with MRSA.

And just a small coincidence that Arthur's brother, "S. Wear Culvahouse" is a doctor whose specialty is.......

You'd never guess.....

Obstetrics and Ob/Gyn

I'm sure that this is all a coincidence too.

Hmmm... I guess I need to look at some of my other resources that chronicle some of the connections amongst the theocrats in more detail.

I guess this answers my question as to Reverend Jerry Prevo's connection (.pdf) to Franklin Graham.

This year, Pastor Prevo has been asked by Franklin Graham
to serve as a board member of Samaritan’s Purse, the largest
evangelical relief agency in the world.
Pastor Prevo is actively involved in coordinating Anchorage Baptist Temple to help rebuild five homes and provide additional support with Samaritan’s Purse Hooper
Bay Disaster Relief program.

Since 1997, Pastor Prevo has
served on the Board of Trustees at
Liberty University in Lynchburg,
VA.
He has served as Chairman
of the Board since 2003.

And not only is good old Jerry connected to Graham, he apparently knew Jerry Falwell too.

For those of you outside of Alaska, Jerry Prevo is the annointing one for the Christian Fundamentalist Republicans in Alaska.

He openly preaches that mixed race marriages are wrong and that homosexuality cannot be tolerated.

FEDUP!!!

Has anyone found what that gross thing is? I worry more and more about Trig, she is not able to care for others much less a baby, toddler or any age.

Is Pastor Prevo the guy that bused children to Anchorage to use in protest against rights for American citizens?

Anon @ 4:37

Yes he is.

Palin dines with Franklin and Billy Graham By Tim Funk
Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009

Sarah Palin, who will sign books today at Fort Bragg, made a stopover in Montreat on Sunday to have dinner with 91-year-old Billy Graham and his son, Franklin Graham, who issued the invitation

Franklin Graham got to know Palin early this year in Alaska. She accompanied him as Samaritan's Purse, a Boone-based international relief agency he heads, delivered 44,000 pounds of groceries to Eskimo families in villages along the frozen Yukon River who had been hit by a harsh winter.

In financial disclosure documents filed this year, Palin reported that Samaritan's Purse paid $1,664 for her airfare to and from the remote villages.

Samaritan's Purse has an office in Alaska, and Franklin Graham owns a cabin in the state. Graham also leads the Charlotte-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which his father founded decades ago.

Asheville is also the home of the World, a conservative evangelical Christian magazine whose regular writers includes Lynn Vincent, Palin's ghostwriter on "Going Rogue," which is already a best seller.

I would like to know more about the Christian adoption rings. No one thinks it is trafficking when they take girls or babies across state lines. It can be.

My friend's mother is a Billy Graham, now Franklin, follower. It is awful what she did to her children about the devil talk.

WHAT IS THAT LUMP ON PALIN'S FACE??? Is she infecting the Graham family?

Only if it is God's will.

Take A Peek at Samaritan's Purse biennial reports filed with the State of Alaska.

Did you know that Samaritan's Purse has been incorporated in Alaska since 1998 ?

In This Video with CBC Canada, Franklin Graham says that they have airplanes in Alaska for better access to Siberia.

The Wasilla plane with the tail number N2625Q is registered to a DONALD H PICKETT of Wasilla.

Again, most likely a coincidence. ;)

According to the State of Alaska Corporations database, Donald Pickett of Johnson Road in Big Lake, Alaska is the President of the Lincoln Village Airpark Homeowners' Association

You can take a look at Samaritan's Purse 990's filed with the IRS here

You need to be registered to use Guidestar, you can look at 990's going back a couple of years with their free service.
