On being a welcome guest...

I wrote a guest post for I Heart The Mudflats and it has been published! It's really wonderful to take a break from Sarah Palin and write about something that gives me pleasure. Do have a look and let me know what you think, either here or over there. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. It's called A Different Kind Of Community.

I left a comment at The Mudflats for you, but I will say it again - it was a wonderfully informing post. Keep up the good work Regina, I visit your site a number of times a day and always enjoy your writing.

Love the post on Mudflats, love Bill and Ted. So far Romeo and Juliet (the Canadian geese on our pond) have not been to visit the kitchen. They do entertain, however, and sometimes it seems to turn into a drunken brawl. Keep up the writing - it suits you.

I left a post at Mudflats as well. What a wonderful story for a Friday. And you are right about taking a break from SP! Look forward to another one soon.

Regina,

What a lovely story! I just want to tell you I check your site many times per day and I think your entries are very well researched and beautifully written. Thanks ..

Oh, Regina. Thanks so much for giving us a chance to comment on your essay. I loved it. It brought back so many memories for me, including stories from a friend who lived on a houseboat in the Thames. And a lovely walk I took once with my husband along there...
