Sarah Palin for president?

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin plans to work with a new Republican group, the National Council for a New America, a spokeswoman said.

Palin "looks forward to doing all she can to bring about positive change many desire and deserve, across Alaska and our great nation, through this National Council for a New America and others," Meghan Stapleton, a spokeswoman for SarahPAC, said in an e-mail.

Stapleton said Palin plans to be involved with the group "as long as everyone knows that Alaska always comes first."

Palin "is focused on moving Alaska forward and pushing for her goals which include providing energy independence and security for Alaskans and Americans," she said.

I find it very funny when Sarah Palin tries really hard to pretend she's doing her best for Alaska so she comes across as a dedicated governor to her adoring fans in the Lower 48.

What she achieves in these efforts is to sound more and more like the leader of the Alaska Independence Party. It makes her a very good candidate for president... of Alaska.

Hey you folks in the Lower 48 who worship Sarah, if you want her as your president, you'd better move to Alaska.

I'm so sorry Alaskans, it was a bad suggestion. As if you didn't have enough problems already!

oh yes - please.
Every nasty whiny thing she has said and done will be under a microscope. If she can't hack it...she deserves to be held responsible for everything she has done
How fun!!!T

She is a JOKE! The only people who don't get it are the ..... well, we can all figure that out. Sarah, go away. Do yourself a favor and just go away.

How on earth can psycho Palin say she is for " energy independence" when she turned down the stimulus money for improving energy insufficiency. Ask Palin her definition of energy independence. It really means her hands in the pocketbook of oil companies, drilling in Alaska regardless if who it hurts and all the oil coming from Alaska. Palin is a greedy suck up to the energy industry.
Every time she opens her mouth something really stupid comes out! And what is with all the spokespeople? Can't she speak fir herself anymore? She is far too full if her own self-importance.

As I see it our biggest problem in alaska will be history in 546 days, 2 hours and 20 mins!

She's toast here and as far as a national presence, come on, perhaps a talking head on faux news....that's it!

We have gay marriage legalized in Iowa for god's sake, this country is moving forward, away from her kind. Thank goodness.

I really am starting to believe it; there is light at the end of this tunnel and the light is not coming from GINO or any of her associates.

OMG! As IF! This new group didn't initially invite GINO to participate, but I don't doubt that she'll muscle her way in.

Have no fear--we (I'm certain I'm not alone in this) in the lower 48 will make sure, by forwarding blog posts from you, Gryphen, Audrey, and others, to MSM journalists to ensure that Palin is NEVER taken srsly as a GOP candidate in '12.

Huffpo story Rove, Plouffe do battle:

"David Plouffe, who ran Barack Obama's campaign and Karl Rove, who was chief adviser to former President Bush's two winning efforts, sat down at the Panetta Institute in Monterey, California for a conversation on bipartisanship. They did not exactly lead by example.

At one point, as Rove kept badgering Obama for perpetuating (in his words) "this myth" of a president "who is committed to bipartisanship and post partisanship," Plouffe acidly replied: "This is like getting interview lessons from Sarah Palin -- a lecture on bipartisanship [from Rove]."

ROTFL

Of course President Obama is scared of SP.

AKPetMom,

There is light coming from GINO, her associates, and her supporters, out of their ears.

I doubt very much that President Obama is "scared" of SP. More likely he'd consider her an annoyance. He was able to ignore her as much as possible during the last election cycle, staying above the fray by remarking that "families are off limits," but it would be easy for him to very strategically flatten her in debate. She wouldn't know where the shiv was until the blood formed a pool on the floor. And if GINO ran against Obama in '12, he'd have three opportunities to debate her. It would be PAINFUL to watch, all that winking!

Well, she finally joined that group, but mark my words: When they call upon her to do something, she will back out -again, as she has done several times this year (after committing to do whatever)

I saw on the news last night (either Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann) that she was invited to their meeting at a pizza restaurant in
Virginia this past weekend and did not respond to the invitation. When asked about her inclusion in Time Magazine's 100 influential people list with Rush Limbaugh, Mitt Romney laughed and asked if they meant the 100 best looking people, obviously meaning that SP was all looks and no substance.
